Kyte surfers are always incredibly friendly and the cars are consistently clean and reliable in functionality. Kyte has quickly become my new go-to rental service

This was our second time using Kyte and it is such a seamless experience I don’t think we’ll ever use another rental service. The cars have always been great and the surfers are SO friendly. It’s so nice with all the checklist items and errands related to a trip to take something off your plate by getting the car delivered and picked up

I reserved a car to be delivered at 9 am. A few minutes before 9 am I received message saying that the driver would be 5-10 minutes late. I had built an extra 30 minutes into my plans, so that was ok. At 9:30 there was still no car and no message. A call to customer service offered an unacceptable solution of me going to the lot to get the car myself. I was in Arlington, VA to attend a funeral at Arlington National Cemetery. The military waits for no one. Uber got me there with two minutes to spare. Thankfully, other funeral attendees were able to jostle carseats, luggage, etc to provide me transportation for the service and back to my hotel. It was my first time using Kyte, and will be my last. On a positive note, my deposit was immediately refuned.

Dependable and convenient for New York City residents who need a weekend getaway alternative to the big car rental agencies.

I won't be using this service again. I booked it at the time because it seemed to be the cheapest. Then they changed their pickup location far enough away that I needed to take an uber in both directions (~$25). They advertised you could take the bus there ($2.50) and it would only take 10 minutes - it was really going to take about 20. I also had large bags and did not want to hassle with navigating public transportation. They still charged a $25 airport convenience fee for both drop off and pick up, even though it was not convenient or at the airport. On top of everything, you need to tip the person that delivers and picks up the car. So all in all, a huge hassle and not cheaper than your big name rental car companies. The car was nice and clean though and the delivery and pick up were on time.

Kyte rules. I was skeptical when I saw the low prices and never heard of it, but it was the best experience

The car was clean and the staff, both for pickup/dropoff and on the phone, were exceptional. The location is a bit from the LAX, but the Uber support makes it easy. Plus, the neighborhood that the garage is in is clean, unlike so many other locations around LAX (no homeless encampments...) I was a little confused by the "in person dropoff" comment in the app, which made me think I needed to interact with an agent, but that wasn't the case, I should have just dropped the key in the little kiosk with the QR code.

Only good things to say about my first time renting with Kyte. I booked last minute and then changed my time very last minute and it was no problem- car was out front of the house one time and in very clean condition. I was kept updated on where the surfer was with the car at all times and the same when another surfer was coming to collect it. My car was great. Only niggle was the car wasn't full of petrol when I picked it up but I emailed customer services and they corrected it for the billing. Customer services replied to my emails straight away as well. I will happily use Kyte again.

Clean comfortable car in good condition. I was a bit skeptical in booking since I had never heard of Kyte but everything was smooth with booking, pickup, and return through the app. Very affordable compared to other companies and the shuttle was quick and easy.
I'm not sure someone in their mid-sixties is Kyte's target demographic but it worked well for me.
I'm sure I'll book again.

It's okay, the service is fast and they bring the car to your home. But they have charged me unnecessary expenses for problems that the car had because it was very used.

Kyte is the greatest thing since sliced bread! I cannot rave enough about how seamless the whole experience is every single time, and from the service team to the surfers, everyone I’ve interacted with at Kyte has always been reliable and friendly. This has been the only car rental company I have used for the last 2 years — they can’t be beat!

Catching on gear shift in lower speeds. Request oil change since start of trip flashing on the screen. Car digital system stalls and doesn’t connect easily.

I cannot say enough good things about Kyte. Th app was easy to use, and they provided incredible step-by-step directions for pickup, seamless handoff, brand new car, seamless drop-off... all at HALF THE PRICE of standard rental companies. This was by far the best rental car experience I've ever had (and I rent a lot of cars)! I will never use another agency if Kyte is available!

The car delivery and pick-up to/from my location were very convenient and made easy. The delivery surfer was about 15 min. late but I was notified. The pickup surfer was right on time. Both surfers were very friendly and professional. The car was almost brand new and very clean. The text notifications were helpful. The app was a bit clunky and frustrating at times (ie didn’t align with text notifications, didn’t show where my surfer was, wasn’t working properly for the drop-off surfer, which delayed that process). Overall, it was a positive experience and I plan to use Kyte again.

Such an easy process. Completed everything on my phone. They dropped off and picked up our car right at our apartment.
