kover cancelled my membership
I usually get a email about my payments, but since December I hadn't received a email. I logged into my account and my membership was cancelled even though my payment information was up to date. Ive paid too much money to have my membership cancelled. Where is my refund?????
Kover using tactics to avoid payout
I was hospitalized for 4 days. I started the claim while I was in the hospital, and they asked for access to my medical chart through the hospitals ap. While that seems super sketchy to me I was able to limit what they would be able to see and tried to allow them access. I kept getting an error message. During this time I received an email from kover asking for the information in the form of a letter from my doctor. This all happened in the course of a couple hours. Now, 4 days later, having provided all the requested info, I haven’t heard back from them and my account says “waiting for documents “. I rent a car through Uber and have a payment due tomorrow or I will lose my rental contract. Fingers crossed they come through quickly.
Update
A week later they have now sent the same email with the same link that doesn’t work more then 20 times. A complete failure to hold up their end of the deal.

We’re ok for a few things . However for my accident when hitting a pothole . They asked for the info I gave them claim was closed . Was without a car for two weeks and still waiting for payment
Excellent Income Insurance for Rideshare Workers!!!
Kover has been there for me several times. I was deactivated from the Lyft platform when I had COVID-19 in March and Kover covered two weeks of income lost from Lyft. I’ve also borrowed from my income benefit of $100, with Kover during times when I didn’t feel good and just couldn’t work.
There was one time that Kover didn’t payout, it was when I was released from the hospital and I submitted documentation but for some reason the app kept asking for documentation and I just gave up (wasn’t feeling good). But aside from this I highly recommend this income insurance if your a Gig Worker.
FYI - I pay $49.00 per month for the maximum income protection plan and I really think it’s worth it!

Boots me out of my apps
Never signed up but only inquired about prices. Now I keep getting booted out of my accounts. Not cool as there is no customer service to help with the issue.
Not an ethical company
I had at one time signed up with them via the Gridwise app, then cancelled, also via Gridwise. Several months later they charged over $500 on my card via an app I am no longer paying for. No way to cancel, no phone number, no response to my email requesting that they cancel. This is NOT an ethical company. As an owner of multiple businesses, I could not in good conscious do this to my customers, have no communication and take funds not given permission for.

Got into minor accident and Kover there to rescue!
I was driving home around 11ish at night and already turned off my app from driving Uber and all of a sudden on the 10 eastbound freeway here in Southern Cali. A piece of wood flew right in front of me after it was ran over by another car going about 65mph. I called over and sent them my dash cam video to prove it along some other requirements they needed. I am so glad Kover covered after a pretty long wait for me to get into their system. Timing couldn't be better after this minor accident and I couldn't ask for more for us Rideshare drivers or Gig workers to have this kind of protection or insurance for income replacement in an event something happened. Nowadays, anything can happened and Kover is like 911 when it comes to your financial needs rescue. They confirmed my payout will be in about 5 days or less to my bank. What can I say. Kover means coverage, its necessary and its not optional for anyone that drives. Million thanks to my Kover Back Up Team!

They got me reactivated with Uber but…
They got me reactivated with Uber but Covid tore my ratings up so bad, and pax aren’t rating like they used to so there’s no way I’d have gotten 500 RATED trips to reset. This means I got deactivated again. Been paying Kover every month. Now that I need help again, my account is there, but it just says “update” to change my plan. Why? I already have a plan! As a matter of fact I just got charged this morning!!
And the chat won’t pull up my keyboard to type so I can’t even get support!

You'll have to email customer service to get access to your account even though their deducting money from your account. Total waste of money. You're better off saving money from these gigs instead. I'm so glad I signed up for this! I've already had to put in claims for 3 'Deactivations'. 1- First one was when I was "Unable to Drive" while (LYFT) did a "background check" that took 4 days! 2- Second one was when a 3rd party requester claimed I did not pick up someone in a wheelchair! Could not drive for 2 days on that one! (Lyft saw I took the trip!) 3- Third one was just this weekend while Lyft was finally offering GREAT 'Streak bonuses' and a lying passenger (who was wearing TWO masks....claimed I was NOT wearing a mask. LOL) All in all....for those 7 days I could not drive through no fault of my own...got reimbursed $593 which is approx 80% of my weekly pay. (Didn't have gas expenses for the days I couldn't drive....so it's all good!) So far I've only paid $120 in monthly premiums....so that means if I never have another claim for 2 yrs....I've at least broken even! And I haven't even used the other benefits or perks yet! They've always been quick to respond and pay out quickly too. So far this has been a great investment for me. Highly recommended!

Case is still pending and still no response!!!
I made a case 2 weeks ago and it's still pending. i was really sick that week and could use $100 to help pay some bills. I still didn't get no reponse yet or even the email. I even paid monthly bill. Shameful!!!

This company took my money from when I cancel this and you can't get sick leave. Sick leave when you can take it with out to have a something from the doctor. Me and my family are living at the hotel. We was using these funds for the hotel. They took $146 from my account and I am sending them emails no response. I signed up with Kover and became sick. I requested a sick pay advance, which is one of the perks I paid for. They said they needed one to three days to review this. Don't sign up for this fraudulent company. Real companies deliver on their promises.
Real businesses don't need to lie. I'm the member that signed up. In their reply, they admit that they need to review what has already been paid for even though they lie about the timeframe. Buyer Beware! If you want a company that will be with you until you need their services, then by all means this is a good company for you, but if you want a company that delivers on what this company says they offer, then unfortunately you need another company.

I'm used to claims being a stressful
I'm used to claims being a stressful, frustrating process. It just seems like they're always trying to get out of paying for things. Kover was different. The claim was so easy to file, and it was fast too. Most importantly, they paid for everything they said they would. They're the best product you can get if you're a ride share driver.
My car is a rental
My car is a rental and Kover still accepted my claim. I was really worried that they would dismiss it since I don't own my own car, but it wasn't a problem at all. They still paid me for two weeks of the time that I was unable to drive.
