Purchased the triple white capri's…

Purchased the triple white capri's in-person at the Soho store. Had a really bad squeak that only got worse over a month or so. Aakifah was very responsive and helpful in getting an exchange arranged. Love my Koio's and the teams customer service.

I originally ordered the wrong color…

I originally ordered the wrong color combo and wanted to swap out the shoe, had an issue online and after starting the chat with the representative she understood everything and was able to help me in getting my exchange and even the return . The customer service was exceptional. The shoes fit great and are so comfortable . I ordered the Capri in Cocoa as my exchange

I ordered a sale shoe

I ordered a sale shoe, got charged, and even received shipping confirmation.

After five days with no updates and no response to my calls, I went to the store myself.

They told me the shoe wasn’t available and wanted full price for any other color.

When I finally reached them, they only offered $20 off for the whole mess.

Ordered the mineral capri shoe

Ordered the mineral capri shoe. The photos show a light grey with a slightly lighter gym. The actual product is astonishingly darker and has not difference for the gum. Great marketing photo

I had to change the color of my new…

I had to change the color of my new Capri that I just ordered last night by mistake and their customer service was so helpful and prompt to respond .

The matter was resolved with in a few hours and my order was refunded on the same morning .

I will be ordering more Capri's from Koio . Great Value and top service which is hard to beat these days !

Great experience at the KOIO New York…

Great experience at the KOIO New York shop. The store is beautiful, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the sneakers are both stylish and incredibly comfortable. One of the best shopping experiences I’ve had in the city.

Hi Firdavs, we're very sorry for your disappointment with your Capris.

You sent us photos and videos pulling apart the sole from the upper of your Capris and showing the stitch there, and said these were coming undone. We explained that as this style is hand-stitched, this is normal, and there is no defect with the shoes!

If the sole is pulled away, you will be able to see the stitching, but the stitching was not coming undone. If you have any issues with the stitching quality in the future please let us know, and we'll be happy to assist!

RUN AND HIDE!! They just want your money, not your loyalty.

RUN AND HIDE!!! This company not only does a terrible job with quality control, but does an absolutely TERRIBLE JOB OF RESPECTING AND RETAINING THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMERS!!!!! They’ve always managed to screw up my orders in the past, but I’ve managed to look the other way. However, this one takes the cake!! In June, I ordered a pair of high heel boots(Alia37)and sandals(Poppi37). Instead, they send me a pair sneakers(Pone37) and boots(ALINE37) that I did not order. Now, if you’re KOIO and you’re facing a screwup of this epic proportion, obvious thing to do is to not only let the customer keep the shoes for the inconvenience, but even fully refund the customer. Right? That’s not only logical, but common sense! Especially when you have a customer who given them over $5000+ in sales!!! Well, I think you know where I’m going with this. When I bring it to their attention, some representative named “Jade” offered me the option to keep the shoes (that I didn’t order, btw) and give me some KOIO gift card as a “gesture of goodwill” while they pocketed my money! Ummm…yea, no! I tried to give her repeated opportunities to course corrects this abhorrent behaviour of customer service, however it was clear to me….the KOIO I once knew (or thought I knew) is no more. Or maybe they never were that good in the first place! What breaks my heart is a couple of things. It’s not that their was a mishap with the order mistakes happen, but when I give you COUNTLESS opportunities to course correct and you STILL try to keep my money?! The second is that they clearly did factor in that I’ve been one of their biggest customers since their inception as company!! I did YouTube videos singing their praise as the top minimalist shoe company. And what many of their employees and competitors alike don’t know is that their founders and I went to the same college!!
Not only is their customer service subpar but even their quality is terrible as of late. It’s gotten so bad their dust bags have gone from high quality to very poor quality to now you have to PAY for a dust bag!
In all, I WOULD AVOID KOIO AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! I am distancing myself from them. I do not recommend them anymore to anyone!!! Please DO NOT waste your money on this company. Go with Common Projects or any other brand than this one. Trust me, you’ll thank me later. Have a blessed day! :-)

We’re truly sorry for the shipping error and the frustration it caused. You’re absolutely right that receiving the wrong items is unacceptable, and we take full responsibility for this mistake.

We’ve addressed this issue directly with our warehouse partner and implemented additional quality control measures at packout to prevent future shipping errors.

When you contacted us, our customer service team offered multiple solutions: a full refund with return of the incorrect items, or a $100 credit if you preferred to keep the items. Given your disappointment with either solution, we then even offered a 50% refund while you keep both items—going beyond our standard policy to find a fair resolution.

While we understand you wanted to keep both items and receive a full refund, we require returns for full refunds to maintain our business operations. We believe our 50% refund compromise appropriately addressed the error in good faith.

We’re sorry this experience didn’t meet your expectations. We appreciate your feedback and are always working to improve both our product and service.

Honestly overhyped

Honestly overhyped. Bought the Capri X and first thing was that the size guide is off. Bought what was supposed to be my size but the shoe was way too big. I think the Capri x run much larger since I've tried another Koio shoe and the size guide was pretty accurate

Next thing is, while the quality is good, the shoe was just straight up uncomfortable. I felt like my foot was way too wide for the sole itself and it was just a super stiff feeling. Wouldn't recommend this particular shoe at least to anyone.

Hi Alejandro, thanks so much for your review, as we sincerely appreciate any feedback we can use to improve the comfort and fit of our shoes.

Regarding our Size Guide, we're so sorry if this was off. We performed fit testing to get measurements for the maximum length foot that fits into each size. It's important to note the measurements don't reflect the insole or shoe length; I'm unsure if this was a potential factor here! We'll be sure to give this feedback to our team.

Our Capri X should run the same in size as our regular Capris, though it's possible that due to the nature of the elastic rather than laces, these could have felt a little roomier.

Regarding comfort, thank you for sharing this feedback with us. We do offer our regular Capri model in a Wide Fit version, which might be right for you if you'd like to try us again! Our Wide Fit version fits an E width, while our regular Men's shoes fit a D width.

We use custom developed soles with recycled and FSC®-certified natural rubber, and these should offer a lot of flexibility! When trying on a shoe that isn't the right fit, and in this case is too narrow but also too long, this will really impact comfort. We’d love for you to give us another chance if you’re up to it; if you’d like to reach out to our Customer Service team at hello@koio.co, we’d love to help choose the right size for you this time around.
