Good quality and service
Good range of products and competitively priced. Service was excellent and the Ark Tamo key safe is of very high quality. Fitting is straightforward for someone with basic DIY ability. Ensure you offer the key safe up to the wall to ensure it is flat and doesn't wobble, and use the template before drilling. Setting the code is easy [once you get your head around the fact it is the number of times each number is used, rather than the sequence of the numbers!]

Very robust product giving a sense of reassurance
Delivered sooner than expected (on a Sunday, even), and had a call from the installer within the 5-7 working day window promised by The Key Safe Company. He advised me to set the code prior to his arrival – sound advice, as the safe took a little time to open, initially, while making settings inside the device certainly required close attention to the excellent little instruction/installation manual (an actual booklet, not a pdf!). Once done, everything was intuitive.
The technician was able to come the following day and used two types of drill to make installation on my rendered wall. He mentioned something about missing a "blower" - I think he meant he might normally have a suction device/bag attached to the drill to collect debris. In the absence of such, brick dust from the drilling accumulated in the work area.
The safe itself seems to be incredibly sturdy and weighs a lot for its relatively small size (probably it has layers of steel reinforcement). It gives a feeling of confidence and reassurance that there is a spare key easily accessible, should I lose or forget my own.
The push-button digits illuminate once the "clear" button is moved, and that is when the code gets entered for opening the safe.
The battery is only needed for illumination purposes; it does not control the opening and closing process which is entirely mechanical and would still work even with a flat battery.

I think the key safe itself is great. The instructions for installing it are incomprehensible. It took two us a good hour to fathom what was meant. See if you can’t find a better way if describing the process.

Strong sturdy key safe
Strong sturdy key safe.
Easy to follow installation instructions.
One gripe is that if this is being used for guests and others, the instructions for changing the code are displayed when the key safe is opened.
The Key Company can provide a rigid cover, fixed with a security to cover the instructions. It would have been better to have ordered both together, and saved postage costs and waiting time, had I know about this.
Can this be made clear on the web site?
