I would like to publicly "praise" KCOM for their outstanding ability to completely ignore cancellation requests and continue taking money from former customers.
​I explicitly called and cancelled my contract on April 8th. Despite this, their highly "efficient" billing system did the following:
​Charged me TWICE on April 29th.
​Continued to take unauthorized Direct Debits on May 29th, June 29th, and July 29th.
​When I contacted their customer support via Live Chat, the agent simply read from a script, proudly told me the account was "now fully ceased" (months late), and offered absolutely no help in refunding the unauthorized charges.
​Here we are in mid-August, and I am STILL waiting for my money to be refunded. Taking money for a service that was cancelled months ago is unacceptable.
​If my full refund is not processed immediately, I will be escalating this formal complaint to the Communications Ombudsman and proceeding with an Indemnity Claim through my bank. Avoid this company if you value your bank account.

Great service best one I've heard of

After my initial call the engineers came quickly and on time. They were really helpful and fully investigated my issue. They were polite, friendly and quickly fixed the damaged line. Thank you

The installation went very smoothly. The engineer helped me set up my new router with new passwords etc. Had good contact from Kcom confirming my installation date and time. They were also very helpful setting up my payment method.

Initial experience very posative, customer service help and advice was faultless.

I had spoken with the 2 people previously at another venue . They gave me advice which resulted in me upgrading my internet . I spoke to them today at another venue just to thank them for the advice and to tell them how happy I was that I’d upgraded

Personal contact made the experience less commercial and more caring as if you were looking after my best financial interests

The worst company I have ever had to deal with.
They failed to set up my direct debit correctly and also used an incorrect email address to set up my account so I could not log into their online services to pay my bills that due to their error could not be paid by direct debit.
Their billing team only work 9-5 and customer service refuse to deal with any billing issues, so I had to take an afternoon off work just to speak to their billing team, who didn't even resolve the issue!!!
Customer service agents also have no idea what they are doing and constantly gave conflicting information.
Avoid at all costs.

Went to kcom in hull , lady was very polite and helpful, went over all the deals and all prices and then decided to accept the very cheap fibre broadband that’s on offer at moment , looking forward to having installation and get up and running
