Disappointing, terrible customer experience
I received a beautiful bouquet from my friend. The flowers were delivered at the entrance of the building I live in and even though I was at home, nobody contacted me to receive them - they were just left there. By chance I went down and saw them (they were a surprise so I did not expect any delivery).
The bouquet looked great, but the flowers died in 2 days. Kanel had me fill in the feedback form which I did - I also shared pictures with the flowers and how they looked less than 48h later (photos attached here as well). They contacted me saying that they require proper care to stay fresh (I told them I followed all the instruction that were in the pack) and said they will send me a new fresh bouquet. Which they never did. I replied to them and never heard back.
Disappointing.

I ordered a bouquet for a friend’s 40th birthday. On the delivery day, I received a message at 8:40am saying it had been delivered. However, my friend was home all day and received nothing — no call, no delivery notice, nothing left in the annex as indicated.
After several attempts (more than ten calls), I was unable to reach the florist.
I later found out the flowers had been sent by post the day before the expected delivery date, while the website clearly states that bouquets are prepared and sent the same day. This is misleading. Had I known the delivery would be handled by the postal service and not directly by a florist, I would have chosen another provider.
The bouquet has still not arrived and no proper solution has been offered.
Extremely disappointing — especially for such an important occasion.
Disappointing … late and dry flowers
The flowers arrived four days late, despite repeated attempts to chase the order, and there was no apology or communication at any point. This was for an important and special birthday, which made the delay especially disappointing.
When the flowers finally arrived, they were dry and clearly not fresh , certainly not what you would expect from a professional florist. For the extortionate price paid, I expected a lush, high-quality arrangement, not something that looked as though it had been sitting around for days.
There has been no refund, no apology, and no follow-up contact, and it is extremely difficult to speak to an actual person.
My advice: stick with a local florist. This experience was deeply disappointing, and I would avoid this company altogether.
Order not delivered / No tracking mechanism
I placed the Order number 245861 on 3rd February for delivery in Basel, expecting it to be delivered on 4th February.
In spite of providing full recipient address, name and contact number in the order - i still received a whatsapp message on 4th Feb saying their name is missing & driver is unable to deliver. I have used the same details for multiple deliveries before and never had a problem. Any how, I provided all details again. I even had to call the recipient and check if they have received it - and she also got a call but no delivery even after clarifying the address again. What was meant to be a pleasant surprise turned into a fiasco.
The Kanel website, has no tracking mechanism and sends no email for order confirmation.
I am still waiting for them to let me know the exact status of my order by today and if they expect to resend the delivery today. I hope stale flowers from yesterday will not be sent in that case.
If they are unable to process the order and get fresh flowers delivered today, I have requested them to cancel the order and provide a FULL refund.
It is truly my mistake I did not check Trustpilot ratings where people have mentioned about their terrible experience.
Terrible customer service (again)
One more experience with their customer service, now they would replace the flowers (not taking any responsibility though) but they would have to charge shipping cost. I cannot believe they want the customer to chip in. They delivered terrible quality and are not willing to take full accountability. Sad.
Flowers look terrible after two days
Nicely packed Bouquet of flowers delivered on a Saturday looked nice for a day. Two days in they look terrible.
KANEL asked for more picture evidence instead of sending a replacement immediately. Still waiting for a reaction. I don’t see the customer excellence and care.
