These companies hate repeat customers, I’m convinced.
The first time I ordered from this company, it went perfectly. I had had a bad experience at Remi, another nightguard company, and switched to JS after I thought that I had found a great new company that would help while saving me some money. Boy was I wrong. These companies LOVE to lure you in with great customer service for the first order, but any order after that turns into an absolute joke and they have officially lost my business after this latest issue. The first guard I received had great communication, was made and shipped promptly, and lasted for over a year. When it was time to reorder a new guard, I was told I needed to redo my impressions without ever really getting a reason why. Odd, since the company seemed to say they kept everything on file but oh well, I did what they asked. I shipped the impression trays out but there was an issue with them, so I had to redo the impressions AGAIN which took away much time. After finally getting approved, it took weeks to get the new guard and it was created on the wrong arch. So, I had to wait longer to receive the correct guard I had ordered. This new guard lasted 8 months. Due to their warranty, I contacted customer service and the employee Paolo G. said they would send me a new one with an even more durable material - 3 weeks later, zero updates. I finally received an excuse-filled reply back 5 days after I asked for an update saying they were super busy and that a new guard request had been sent to the lab but no idea if it was made yet. This is great - I feel like I am right back to the old nightguard company I tried to get away from.
After I receive this new guard (if that ever actually happens at this point) I will be going to a dentist because the lower price from JS does not warrant the back and forth, long wait times, and lack of communication. These companies just cause headaches- they do everything wonderfully at first to show you how great it could be if you used them, but then do absolutely nothing to keep you as a customer. I’ll continue to wait for this guard that I have a feeling was never sent to the lab, or I’ll get a new impression kit randomly in the mail because my old impressions are suddenly not useable but that wont be communicated to me. Awful - do not use, find an actual dentist or a lab that you can talk to a real human.

They really make sure to get it right, even with difficult customers like me! This is the #1 go-to company for a quality guard. I'll use them again when I lose this one too haha!
Fake JS Lab charges
JS Lab is a snake company with snake practices. They fraudulently charged over $300 to my credit card for a dental guard I never purchased. In fact, I didn't send the impression kit due to the lack of response from the company. This company has several consumer complaints online about lack of responses, customers being charged and not receiving products, etc. They basically created a fake order and fake product and charged me. I regret ever considering this company.
Great products and customer service
Working with the employees at JS Dental Lab has been a great experience. I have spent so much money buying guards at the dentist office with nothing guaranteed, when one did not work I would go on to the next dentist or Ortho and still another bad appliance. I love that there products are guaranteed until it's right making slight adjustments and sending it back is so easy, getting a return label sent to me in an e-mail to print. I am so happy with my guards.
Dylan is a night guard wizard
Dylan is a night guard wizard. It might take a little while, but it’s worth it, it’s a really good guard and they are very patient, I know that dentist office make the best and it’s hard to replicate that but they do a very good job and making a great guard and I have tried several different companies. The mouth guard JS Dental sent me had a bulge and couldn’t be worn so I sent it back to them with adjustment markings before Christmas. On Feb 3 after asking when it was coming, Leighton said they were two weeks behind schedule. It’s now Feb 17. So almost two months later I still have no idea when I’ll have the mouthguard that I paid hundreds of dollars to JS Dental for in 2025. Basically JS Dental is no better than Walgreens for a mouthguard. It just costs a lot more, takes 25 times longer, and you never know what’s going on.

This is the 2nd time I have ordered night guards through JS Dental labs. Their customer service is great and they fit perfectly. I really like this company.
The terribly slow and painful process, but great guards
The terribly slow and antiquated process makes the great guards *almost* not worth the effort. Process with no hiccups already includes: mail me the moulds > mail back the moulds > mail me the guard. Several weeks is normal.
However, their process also includes an optional upgrade, which isn't clear on the original order online. It comes highly recommended in the paper insert with your moulds and requires waiting for more moulds because you have to do both upper and lower. I did this process when ordering my first guard from JS Dental Lab a few years ago.
Now I need to replace my guard. When I went to use the "easy" reorder process, they did not have my old measurements and apparently did not record that I had upgraded to a 3d guard. So wait for first mould > multiple emails to confirm that it wasn't the kit for a 3D guard > submit a new upgrade order with new order #> wait for more moulds in the mail > return > wait for guard > get guard that doesn't quite fit and doesn't actually seem like a 3D guard > multiple email process > need to print off things at the library > send guard back > wait for new guard. HOPE it's right this time as I use an old guard which was partially chewed by my dog....
All told, this process has taken more than three months, and I still need to send the new one back. Probably will hit the 4-month mark by the time I get the final guard. Some of that time is just life (out of town, etc), but that's precisely the point. It's a great savings compared to the dentist, but don't expect to get this done in a reasonable time frame. Next time, I will consider another online option - if one exists - to hopefully remove or reduce all the extra back and forth.

I came across this company several years ago. I was thoroughly impressed with them from the start. They provide an outstanding product at a reasonable price compared to dental offices. They also focus on great customer service. If you’re in need of a dental appliance give JS Dental Lab a try.
One happy camper
In order to fabricate a dental guard I needed to make a good casting of my teeth. Even though I followed the instructions closely the first two attempts were not successful and the lab let me know what went wrong. They were prompt with the analysis and sent me additional casting material quickly. The third attempt was a charm and once sent in the lab began making my guard. I received the finished product in a couple of weeks.
It was a perfect fit and no modifications necessary. My dentist wanted to charge me $500-700 for a guard JS Dental Lab’s guard was $100 ( Amazon sale)
I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and nighttime grinding has been averted.

Great Responsive Company
Dylan, the founder at JS Dental Lab has been a pleasure to work with. Since JS was my first try with using a guard, they were patient and really walked me through the process. The guard I received fits great and I no longer wake up with a sore jaw and headache. Highly recommend!
Always taking care of customers
I have been ordering from JS Dental for years. We had a mishap last year when I moved and it got sent to my previous address. Dylan jumped in and corrected the error and sent me another one quickly.

I found JS Dental through on online search because my neurologist told me a night guard could help with my migraines. Unfortunately my dentist charges $700, which was definitely too pricey for me. JS Dental offered night guards for several hundred dollars less than that, so I gave it a try. While the process of finally getting it did take a few weeks, between getting the kit, creating the molds at home and then sending it back, the wait was well worth it. Dylan and his team are very helpful and communicative. Just recently, almost a year later, I felt something off with my grinding at night. He told me to send it back for a readjustment. When I got it back, it was an even better fit than I had hoped for. My impression is that JS Dental takes great pride in what they do and strive to deliver quality night guards at a much lower price point than dentists. I highly recommend them!!
Best mouthguards I've ever gotten
They will work with you so that you get the most comfortable mouth guard that you will probably ever get! If you're not happy JS Dental will have you send it back and they will redo it. Their prices are reasonable compared to dentists and I like the choices of getting a softer one, harder one for grinders, etc.

I ordered a mouth guard they said they would make from the file of my last mouth guard. They took the money immediately. A week or so later I received notice that it was shipped. What arrived was the kit for making a mouth guard NOT the mouth guard. The ONLY email that they have acknowledged was for that. They asked me to send photo of my old mould right away to see if they could use it. NO CONTACT since then. They do not respond. They have the money so they are not worried. This is a crackpot outfit willing to rip you off. They have enough volume so they don't care. I requested refund and had no response so I have reported them

I have worked in the dental industry for several years, and for several different dentists who offered night guards through their practice. In every office I worked in, the night guards were $500 at least, and were honestly not meant to last. Most practices in my opinion are there to hurry patients out the door, trying to make fast money without taking into consideration longevity, or even precise fit most of the time, and they never offered a warranty.
JS labs is the complete opposite!! Everything that is offered through this company is freaking amazing and almost unheard of. Their customer service is above and beyond, and every step of the process, I was met with incredibly helpful employees who were diligent and paid attention to every detail. I returned my night guard several times for a perfect fit, and they adjusted as necessary until I got the best fit possible. You guys are all amazing!!! I am going to recommend this company to everybody I know, and to every patient I see at my job. Thank you!
This company is a scam
This company is a scam! After placing the order with the option of $1 until I confirm I want the night guard they intentionally delayed my shipment. It has been 2 months and still no update on when my night guard will shipped. Instead I get responses such as "are you traveling soon?" and "do you plan on moving?" that have nothing to do with me inquiring about the status of my order. These responses were after being ghosted for 3 weeks of messaging asking for a tracking number.

I am writing a negative review because…
I am writing a negative review because they don’t have a customer service phone number to contact. I paid $175 for a mouthguard back in August. I finally got the mold sent in a few weeks ago and I’ve had zero communication from them so I’m giving it one star for the cost and one star for no customer service phone number. I ordered from them in the past and I got an email right away that they received my mold. I have not got that email this time so my guess is I will not be getting my mouthguard.
