Nobody able to serve for 30 mins
When I first arrived, the sales assistant wasn’t there and I was advised she’d be away for half an hour (it wasn’t lunch time) and it was suggested I come back later.

INSURANCE COST INCREASE FOR MY THERAPY CAT
My therapy cat has been insured with JOHN LEWIS PET INSURANCE since she was 3 months old, she is now 13yrs. I've been very happy with the service they've offered until this year. I've now received a quote to renew her insurance. I'm really shocked as the cost they've quoted is £1,026.48 more than last year. Nothing has changed other than she's one year older. I called them today & spoke to Jordan who was very helpful & patient. He told me that on his system the only way he could reduce the cost was to half thd amount she's covered for. I told him that I wasn't prepared to do that. When I asked him why her premium had reduced last year he said it wasn't because she didn't have any claims last year. I knew that I'd made two claims in 2025. I phoned my vets as they, because of my circumstances, very kindly claim direct for me. Jordan waited while I spoke to the vets on another line The vets confirmed that claims made in October & April of the previous year. The total, cost of these claims was £265.70. I assume that there must be a fault in their system for them not to have recorded these claims. I asked Jordan if he could escalate this matter. I've been told that customer services will call me in the next seven days to discuss the situation. I'm very concerned as I have a lot of hospital & other important appointments, that I may not be available to take the call. My therapy cat is counted
as an service pet. I wouldn't be able to manage my daily life without her help. I can't afford the over £1,000 increased premium.
I would like to add again that Jordan who took my call was so understanding of my situation.
Thank you for your prompt reply. I want to be sure to discuss the situation with you before my policy expires on 17th August. I explained that I'm not always available to take phone calls. I'd be grateful if you could contact me to arrange a day & time slot when I can discuss this situation with you.
