I ordered the liquid jersey hijab and Ecru white linen cotton set from Jawda and I was really impressed with the quality, material and fit of the linen set. It's not see through at all and has a comfortable feel, and its also very modest and sit comfortably on me. I am also short and struggle with finding pants that fit me but these ones fit perfectly. I ended up returning the top as it didn't look as good on me as on the model and the hijab too, the color didn't for me. But regardless, their customer support was amazing, they responded quickly, answered all my questions, and processed the return request almost instantly. The only thing was it did take long for my items to arrive, but this makes sense because they were sent from the UK to the USA.

I was scrolling my insta suddenly the coat pictures took my attention. When I had my coat I couldn’t stop touching it such beautiful cosy material and beautiful color . More beautiful and stylish than I expected. This coat is perfect for winter as well as end of summer. The price is so reasonable for this coat . Happy shopping 💐💐💐💃

The founder reached out to me with a detailed explanation and apology for my experience. She also offered to comp the customs/taxes I was charged which was very generous, I know most other companies would not take that on, so it is very appreciated.

She also mentioned what steps they were going to be taking to ensure these mistakes are avoided in the future which is also important. I wish the best for her and this company and do hope that they are able to address these issues and improve as the brand grows.

It seems that Jawda does not drop the ball often but when they do, they realllllyyyy drop it.

TL;DR: I received a completely different order, which was an inconvenience, but wasn’t a dealbreaker. What turned me away from this brand was the sheer lack of due diligence and pro-activeness in correcting their mistake.

I asked about my correct order (what would be dispatched, and if I could change the color of one item) differently probably like 3-4 times? 3 in the email I believe and once over instagram DMs. They never answered the question. One of those times, I had asked another question about the return process in the same email— they answered that second question but completely bypassed the first.

Then, they did not send the return label by the promised time. And when they did, it was one that was only valid for the UK and EU i think. We don’t have that shipping company in Canada. They apologized and said to donate the items.

At this point I gave up on getting my correct order and just asked for a refund. It really felt like they did not care about checking things properly, and did not want to correct their mistake and give me what I paid for. They apologized but then ALSO asked “may I kindly ask what was incorrect with your order?”

I have been polite and patient throughout our exchange, but that question pissed me off. My order number was in the email subject line, and our entire email thread was linked to my original order confirmation. It is not that difficult to look for the information they ALREADY had, but they put the onus on me to provide that info again. It took FOURTEEN emails back and forth total to finally get a resolution.

They have finally issued a refund (I should be getting it around Aug 7th). Although I still am out of ~$24 for the taxes I was charged at the door for delivery.

What should have been an easy, quick fix, has been convoluted and incredibly tedious for no good reason.

I genuinely did love the material of the cotton dress and really appreciate the company’s ethos. But the customer service needs some serious attention because myself nor any of my mutuals wish to risk this type of interaction by buying from here again.

Very good quality clothing! And the customer service is excellent! Best customer service experience I ever had. I will definitely order again and recommend everyone to order here.

My parcel was initially believed to be lost in transit, and although the situation was frustrating, the customer service team was incredibly helpful, professional, and kept me updated throughout the entire process.

The parcel was eventually found and delivered, and to my surprise, Jawda still honored a full refund as a goodwill gesture. That level of customer service is rare and truly appreciated.

The abayas are absolutely beautiful, and the fabric quality is amazing, soft, comfortable, and exactly as described.

Their clothing is designed thoughtfully and the fabrics are great quality. As a breastfeeding mum I really appreciated the inclusivity of their collection. Customer service is transparent and sincere. Shipping rates are reasonable which is so rare these days. It really feels like a brand with genuine care for their customers, staff and craft. I can’t wait to buy more pieces!

I've been a customer of Jawda's for over two years now and I can genuinely say that Jawda has only improved every time I have ordered from them, especially since their new factory opened (which gives me comfort as I know their pieces are made ethically correctly). Their stuff used to be good but now the quality really is incomparable. I am now able to buy cotton and natural linen modest wear pieces as the prices are really reasonable. And of course their pieces are so so beautiful. I would recommend Jawda highly if you are looking for better fabrics in your abayas

Jawda has very much improved their designs from a few years ago. The new dresses and abayas in natural fabrics have wonderful drape and are very affordable compared to other modest brands. Their customer service is very good and I have never had any issues with them. The website is easy to navigate and there is plenty of information about the clothing items regarding fabric and sizing. Definitely a company to put your trust in.

Terrible service, I payed an extra £13 for next day delivery as I needed the abaya for an event and unfortunately I did not receive it. Upon asking the customer service team they too haven’t done anything to help me out. Additionally having received the item finally, it’s terrible material- meant to be summery and breathable and it’s thick and I’ll shaped. The abaya feels uncomfortable and the fit is awful.

I was looking for a modest, breathable and stylish outfit to wear during the summer heat and Jawda hit the spec perfectly. Due to my own error, I ordered the incorrect size, however within 24hrs Jawdah had already sent out a replacement and covered the cost of the return of the incorrect one. The second one fit perfectly. It is evident that a lot of care goes into ensuring that the products are of good quality.

I had a lovely experience with the customer service. They were really helpful and understanding of an issue I experienced with an exchange. Would definitely buy again I really liked the quality of the clothes too.

Good quality material and I noticed this year there is a variety of designs and colours.
Bonus: the exchange option. I find this very useful and the staff are quite responsive and helpful.

I ordered 5 pieces from their summer 2026 linen collection and I can’t believe how good the quality of the linen is. I got all the colors in the linen abaya and the weight of the fabric is great. It’s heavy enough to drape well and light enough to avoid wrinkles and transparency as much as possible with linen. I would love to see more natural fiber collections from Jawda at their stellar prices. I’ll be first to order
