After more than 2 years of using the itch flea treatment, they have let me down.
I got a call from my groomer to say both dogs had fleas and could I come and pick them up unfinished! I had to pay the groomer in full plus £10 cleansing fee, I rang the vets and spent £70 there and a further £22 for the house flea spray I need. Really disappointed and very angry as I now have to deal with hoovering my whole house and spraying the place then leaving for two hours as this spray is toxic but if I’ve got flea eggs everywhere what can I do,
Itch apologised and offered last month’s £18 flea treatment back.
I will not be using them again, I guess I had a good run and very lucky that it worked for two years.
To further add I have found out today that unless these products are on prescription, it’s pot luck if they actually work as they are not strong enough.
I have learned my lesson it’s safe to say.
UPDATE
Just had a reply from itch and couldn’t see where I could reply to it so I’m editing this!
They say a “shocking 95% of fleas live in our environment and that’s why you should do yr home and animals together”!
I think it’s shocking that in over two years I’ve never heard any of your customer service team say that once and I’ve never seen that advertised on any correspondence you have sent me.
I will not email you to make sure my pets are flea free, my vets and the local Pets and friends branch have helped me sort it!

Subscribed me without my knowledge
Put me in subscription when I DEFINITELY did NOT subscribe. Took £23.25 before I knew it out of my PayPal credit .. so annoyed that I can't even say a good word about this company or product. Companies should not be allowed to do this. I got the one off trial deal so how do they subscribe you without your knowledge

You even said the 'subscription' which was at my old address a year ago which I didn't know about wasn't valid. And you did not notify me of the payment coming out prior. That's not good company policy. You have it wrapped up at checkout no doubt when people just want to pay and leave..

Easy way to get flee ahd tick care…
Easy way to get flee ahd tick care direct to your door. I live in a remote area and couldn't find decent tick and flea care fur my two dogs and one cat. This can be cancelled anytime yeah ou don't need it. I cancel in the winter months and restart it in the summer months.

He does still itch quite a bit but I don’t feel he has fleas/ticks
I do struggle with the worming tablet as he doesn’t like it and keeps spitting out maybe it could be made more tasty to dogs

Does not work!
Absolutely crap. I've always been on top of flea, tick and worm treatment, typically using Bravecto, but because that's more expensive I decided to try and give Itch a go. Around 2 weeks after applying itch and my cat is absolutely riddled with fleas. It's like Itch attracted them, not killed them! I have to give him baths and comb him because I intend to wait the proper length of time before putting a different flea treatment on him, I'm quarantining him from my other cat and he's miserable. Back to Bravecto. Thanks for nothing Itch 🙄

We understand how frustrating it feels to be seeing fleas after using Itch Flea on your cat. We'd really love to help you to get rid of these pesky fleas ASAP. Here’s what I think is going on.
Itch Flea is designed to kill fleas, eggs, and larvae on your pet within 48 hours. However, in some cases, fleas can also be present in the home environment, where they can continue to breed and multiply. This can make it seem as though the treatment hasn't worked, even when the product is effectively treating the fleas on your pet.
To help get the problem under control, we recommend continuing to use a flea treatment that kills both fleas and their eggs, such as Itch Flea, while also treating your home with a flea spray if you haven't already done so. Washing your pet's bedding at 60°C can also help eliminate any remaining eggs.
We'd really like to help you resolve this. There’s advice on our website about tackling flea infestations, and our expert Vet Team is on hand to help. Chat to us at hello@itchpet.com or by phone, WhatsApp or online chat.
