A must-have UX platform & a truly exceptional customer support
I have been an IxDF member for 2 years for now and, really, there aren’t enough words to describe my positive feelings about it. I have taken courses on other platforms before as well, but only with IxDF I have felt such eagerness to actually come back and take more in – the content has been made really easily digestible.
In addition to the engaging courses, as a member of the IxDF, I would really emphasize the fact that they also offer regular (and high-quality) masterclasses (these ones I looooove the most!).
Oh and, the customer support / team behind the content? Say no more – truly exceptional as I have also already mentioned in my title here. My communication with Rikke has been so heartwarming, sincere and helpful… Thank you for that, Rikke.
Rikke has always answered me in a matter or hours and, helped out even with some personal disturbances that have come on the way of continuing with the courses.

First and foremost, we apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced. It is never our intention to leave a member feeling unheard or unsupported. We understand how frustrating it can be to encounter unexpected charges and feel your concerns are not being addressed promptly.
Secondly, I had a quick look at our logs and can see that the renewal notification email was sent to you on Nov 14, 2024. Since you didn’t request otherwise, the system automatically billed your stored payment method in order to keep your membership from expiring and thereby blocking your access to the account. To make sure you are always in full control, both during the sign-up process and on your Billing Info page, we mention that you are free to cancel your membership at any time if you don’t want it to be renewed automatically.
As for the refund request, the best way to reach our team and see what can be done is to reply to one of the notification emails you're received or simply email us at hello@interaction-design.org . We’re definitely not interested in disappointing anyone and always try to do our best to find the right solution 😊

While we primarily offer annual memberships to keep the cost of our courses accessible, we do have a monthly option called the Design League. It includes 2 hours of personal coaching each month and is designed for those looking for a more intensive learning experience.

I have taken multiple courses with IDF, from Journey Mapping to Creating a UX Portfolio, and their courses are truly top-notch. The content is well-structured, and they have an excellent approach to delivering lesson plans. I would highly recommend IDF to UXers looking to upskill.
Additionally, the customer support is outstanding. I had a subscription query that was quickly resolved, and to my surprise, the assistance came directly from Rikke, the co-founder and Editor-in-Chief. A Must-Have Resource for UX
A friend of mine, a UX designer for a large Fortune 500 company, recommended Interaction Design Foundation as a helpful resource to help kickstart my UX career. I found the courses intuitive, easy to use, and flexible for my schedule since you can learn at your own pace. Compared to other UX programs, IxDF is a relatively affordable investment for most.

Good platform
Some courses are valid (like Agile methodology or Conduct Usability test), other too generic (like Design for Augmented and Virtual Reality).
It really depends on your level of expertise. In general I will reccomand it.
Great customer support.
An advice, let the email and personal page be more clear about the renewal.

Completing my UX Design certification with the Interaction Design Foundation was a transformative experience that greatly deepened my understanding of user-centered design.
