Inntravel Omdömen 

This is a great walking holiday. The location is stunning and the walks provided by Inntravel were very good and the difficulty described was accurate. Directions and notes were accurate and the provision of GPX files was a bonus. We used Komoot to open them although other apps are available.

We stayed at the Rainell resort which was excellent - a great location for the walks and getting into the town. The staff were extremely helpful and the food was great.

If you use the chair lifts more than once it's worth investing in the 6-day Gardena pass which is really good value - the hotel gave us this advice.

Inntravel selected a series of excellent hotels for our walk from the Basque Pyrenees to the Atlantic. All came with a warm welcome and excellent food. The walks were challenging but doable and showed of the Pyrenees to great effect.

This was our third stay in this excellent hotel, but the first in summer. The staff is always very helpful and seemed genuinely concerned when one of our suitcases didn’t make the trip. They communicated with the airline to coordinate its delivery on the second day of our stay.
Our room was spacious and comfortable. However, it faced west, as do half of the rooms of the hotel, and the afternoon sun made our balcony terribly hot and unusable. As there is no air conditioning, the room was also very warm at night. A room on the east side, facing the lake, would have been a lot more comfortable.
The meals at Hotel Wiesenhof are always a highlight!
We walked around the lake and returned by boat (which we found extremely expensive). We also took the Karwendel cable car, but we found the Bärenkopf extension quite difficult. It had rained the day before, and the trails were still wet and very slippery. We thought of turning back after a while, but the descent would have been much more difficult than the ascent, so we kept going… In the winter, we usually walk back on the sled path, but the descent suggest by Inntravel through the forest was much more interesting.

The holiday overall was just amazing.

The itinerary was spot on with time in the mountains then time on the lake. The transfers were good too.

But what really made it, was the stunning hotels, delicious food and the well thought out walks. Not too hard, there was still time to relax and take things slowly but challenging terrain at times, which we enjoyed. Breathtaking mountains and the beautiful lake Iseo.

We had a self guided walking week in north Portugal staying in interesting and comfortable mansions. InnTravel provided easy to follow walking routes. We would use the company again.

Exploring a new country was a great and pleasant experience. Inntravel made it possible to see different areas of Slovenia, staying at nice hotels and giving an insight to the history and background of the country.

This was our third Inn Travel trip because we have had such a wonderful experience every time. The hotels, walks, directions and other details are so well done. My partner and I took our moms along and it was such a fantastic way to travel together. Excited to choose our next trip with Inn Travel!

This was our first holiday with InnTravel, and an extremely memorable cycling holiday along ‘The Silver Coast’ Aveiro. From start to finish it was tailor made to suit our requests. We hardly saw another soul out cycling, and found some fabulous Portugese hospitality en route. Inntravel notes were wonderfully detailed. We appreciated both the directions, GPS and historical background information. We would however take our own maps for future trips. Our hotels were superb, it was never any trouble to accommodate our bikes, breakfasts were amazing and restaurants either recommended or easily found. The cycle trail, with Porto and Lisbon added on, provided a good mix of tranquility and culture. We will certainly be returning to Portugal!
Inntravel were easily contactable when we couldn’t immediately locate our taxi transfer, and all was resolved within 10 minutes!
Thank you Inntravel for revealing such a hidden gem. Anybody who can ride a bike would love this destination. Vamos!

Inn Travel were great from start to finish! Always friendly and helpful whenever I contacted them. The actual walking trip was fabulous (Fishermans Trail, Algarve) - the routes were great and directions easy to follow and the hotels were all lovely and comfortable to stay in.

Our 3rd InnTravel walking trip in Europe, this time in Germany’s Black Forest, was another delight. The hotels were gems, often family run, warm and personal, and we had some meals we’ll always remember. All of them had excellent breakfasts and provided good picnic lunches. The routes were gorgeous, varied, and beautifully detailed in the instructions, with great breakouts on points of interest along the way. Everything worked smoothly and the team was quick to respond to questions. The trail maps downloaded to AllTrails were useful when we thought we might have missed a turn. We love InnTravel and the way they help us experience a region up close at a walking pace, and we are already thinking about what the next trip with them will be!

We booked an e-bike trip with InnTravel in Tuscany. The day my bike arrived the motor kept cutting out. I informed their local operator but they did not replace the bike and we had no option but to set out from Pisa to Lucca the following day. The bike's motor then completely stopped just outside Pisa resulting in a 2.5 hour wait in 35 degree heat on the side of a busy road for a replacement which had to come form Lucca as they had none in Pisa. The communication with InnTravel was really bad and they were very slow to return our calls or reply to emails. When we reached our hotel which was a three star one (rather than 4 star as advertised on the website) where we were promised a "superior room" we were given a very basic one. The trip from Lucca to Vinci was made to sound very rural in the description but actually was 60% through suburban and light industrial areas.
My husband also had a flat tyre and then company used by InnTravel took a long time to come out and repair it.

We really didn't get the holiday described on their website - they are certainly now Out Travel!

Wonderful walks with excellent trip notes. Hotels were among the best we’ve had with exceptional meals, including for me as a vegetarian.

Our Journey along the Camino de Santiago with Inntravel was exactly what we had hoped it would be - lots of wonderful things to see, good food (especially fish and seafood) and fine weather throughout our time in Spain. We added extra nights to the itinerary in Bilbao, Burgos and Leon, and with hindsight would have done the same in Santiago de Compostela. The additional time enabled us to explore each location thoroughly and to visit most of the important sights. We particularly like the flexibility Inntravel's self-guided holidays give you to decide how best to use your time and prioritise the things you want to see without having to follow a set itinerary as part of a group tour. The train journeys booked by Inntravel worked without a hitch, as did the coach journey from Santiago to Porto airport to catch our return flight. All of the hotels we stayed in were in excellent locations, within easy walking distance of the main sights. Each had its own attractions and idiosyncrasies, but all were comfortable and our rooms were without exception spacious, well-appointed and spotlessly clean - as were the bathrooms. In Leon, we opted to stay in the Palacete Colonial, which lived up to its description as a four-star boutique hotel, but the best meal we had during our holiday was at the Bodega Regia in Leon, which is linked to the other hotel used by Inntravel in that city, the Posada Regia. Apart from in the Hotel Tayko in Bilbao, the breakfasts were all buffet style with a wide range of options. The notes provided by Inntravel on each location were extremely helpful, especially the city walks, and when eating out in the evenings, we went to quite a few of the restaurants recommended in the notes. Altogether it was a great holiday and one we have already recommended to some of our friends.

I've taken so many trips with this company, but this summer I booked 2 trips with them again and it was a mess. Very average hotels, whereas befire it felt like they booked hidden gems. The included meal (just one!) was very average. The cycling and walking instructions didn't come on time, leaving us scrambling for notes to get emailed and printed. Train tickets didn't arrive since our notes didn't arrive and we missed a train and had to wait for more tickets to he emailed. To make matters worse, the notes were terrible and so on a 40 km cycling day we ended up cycling 65 km and ended up using Google maps to find our way home.I told them how poor our trip was and they said sorry - nothing more. I will not book with them again and the 2 stars reflect the amazing experiences i had with them in the past.

Good places to stay, excellent notes to guide us on our walks, and lovely walks with wonderful views.

It was well organised with great communication from when we booked until we returned.
Information about visiting Portugal, the region and the accommodation was really informative.
Walking route instructions were very detailed and easy to follow.
All the accommodation, food and luggage transfer arrangements were 1st Class.

InnTravel provided a customized holiday based on their Tyrol walking holiday that was excellent. All the hotels were exquisite in breathtaking locations. We will certainly use them again. We were very pleased with the walks and local bus pass. Thank you!

We had a great time walking in the Picos Europa and Llanes. The routes were good for moderate hikers especially as the weather was hot. The hotel Casa de Con was superb, a very laid back mountain retreat with spacious rooms and outdoor space. The owners were very accommodating and friendly and food very good. The Don Paco hotel in Llanes was very different but still a great hotel previously a convent with a spectacular restaurant in the old chapel with absolutely superb food. The coastline is amazing with some of the best beaches I have ever seen. Overall a great holiday hiking.

Excellent holiday around Lake Constance and Zurich. Good walking and comfortable hotels. Generally very happy with Inntravel
