Fraudulent revision—alleging missing lens on a pristine device

​I sent in a Samsung Galaxy S21 FE in full working order, originally quoted at £130. Upon receiving it, Innofinity Worldwide reduced their offer to £10, claiming the camera was faulty due to a missing top lens and "blurry photos."
​I have now received the returned device back and tested it thoroughly:
​Camera Functionality: The photos are NOT blurry at all. The camera sensor works completely fine and takes sharp, clear pictures.
​The Issue: The only physical issue is a missing outer glass lens cover—a minor fix costing under £5 for parts—which I certainly did not notice when shipping it.
​Disproportionate Reduction: Slashing £120 off a phone's value for a £5 external glass cover on a fully working camera taking clear photos is completely unreasonable.
​Management Conduct: Management has completely ignored my communications regarding these false appraisal claims.
​I have documented everything on continuous unboxing video and taken photo samples proving the camera works perfectly. Avoid this company if you expect a fair or honest appraisal.

One of the best and fastest way to get rid of your electrical items and get the most competitive prices. Sent them my phone on Saturday afternoon and had the money by Tuesday morning. One advise os that of your item is on finance make sure to clear it as they reduce the price significantly. Apart from this i would highly recommend. Big thanks to Mike

This company is dishonest. Advertises top rates and wastes your time. They offered me £505 on my iPhone 15 ProMax with 512gb of memory. It was in prestine condition, never damaged, always in case with screen protector. THEY NEVER ASKED ANYTHING ABOUT BATTERY HEALTH. I sent it in. No call or anything - email went to junk. 7 days later I chase. Get an email telling to find previously sent email. In that they offer me £270 for my phone - that is 53 percent of the original offer because battery health is 79 percent (which I could have told them at the outset and then I would not have wasted my time). I rang them and found them unhelpful and rude if anything. Terrible experience terrible organisation.

iphone 16 Pro Max pristine condition. Initial offer £625. Email arrives informing me the phone is under a contract & worse still the 'Nordic' version (if is there such a thing?). Offer now £450. Phone was bought outright in Milton Keynes Apple Store SIM FREE paid for in cash. So I asked to have the phone back. Then given the run around for 3 days until eventually they agreed to return it. I then sold it SAME DAY on an auction site for £720!

Used this company every time when selling a phone, and ive sold a good 6/7, couldn't fault them at all, i always deal with mike who is a credit to the business, excellent communication and a great guy to deal with, if i could rate more than 5 stars i would, great prices and fast payout, from doing a quote online to payout it is is usually 3 days total process which is brilliant, couldnt recommend highly enough ☺️

Friendly, great communication, and really easy to trade in and sell to. I’m very pleased with the service. I was a little nervous at first because I’d never sent my device away before, but I honestly had nothing to worry about. The communication was on point throughout. They kept me updated on the estimated value, the expected timeframes, and sent emails to confirm everything along the way. Overall, a really smooth and reassuring experience. I sent a iPhone 12 mini black 2021 in good condition with an estimated value of £90. Once I sent the phone, I then had a message from Innofinity with photos attached informing me that after inspection the phone was in a poor condition and they would offer me £40. However, after looking at the photos I was sent it wasn’t my phone it was a iPhone 12 mini in blue.
I don’t know if this is company policy sending pictures of the wrong phone, in worse condition offering less for it, if it is than in my opinion I would call it a scam.
I know we are only talking about a small amount, but it’s the principal. After some negotiation they gave me £60 for the phone.

Very simple and straight forward experience from start to finish. Have done 3 different trades to them, 2 of old tech and an as new pro14. One of the old items got reduced slightly due to the battery condition but that’s to be expected with how old that piece was and I was kept informed throughout. The as new 14pro I got the exact amount quoted in my bank 3 days after posting it. The quotes were the highest I could find online too. Definitely found them to be a reputable company with no hassle and friendly staff and will definitely use again in the future. Thank you.

I sold my iPhone 17 Pro to Innofinity after they offered a good price. After receiving it, they reduced the valuation by £100, claiming there was a dent on the top edge.

They sent a photo supposedly showing the dent, but the phone in the photo clearly appears to have a screen protector, with visible edges/reflections and dust around the protector. My phone did not have a screen protector when I sent it. I had removed it and carefully cleaned the phone and its edges before packing it.

This raises serious concerns about whether the photograph they provided is actually of my phone. I have disputed the valuation and immediately requested that my phone be returned.

I will update this review once I receive it back and can confirm whether it has been returned in the same condition in which I sent it.

Update: Innofinity did try to resolve the issue by asking what would be a price acceptable to me - as I was adamant that my phone was in a good condition as stated on my sell order form, I requested for a price higher than what Innofinity had revised it down to and they accepted. This was then paid to my bank quickly, so I’m updating the review (from 1 star) given they were willing to engage and settle the order.

my experience was quick and smooth all the way. easy process for picking the phone, quick to give a reply and outline the technical issues that needed to be sorted since the phone couldn't be reset from origin and payment come through one day after without surprises.

just a minor detail about the remote process to erase and delete the phone from the apple account missed in the selling chain but nothing major.

The results came through quickly and the package arrived with them in just a couple of days. However I was told the value of my iphone and IPAD Pro would be between £80-£100 pounds and I was given a valuation for both of these items at a measly £32 after they had been tested. Although they were older models this was quite a shock , however this valuation was negotiated up to £50 which is still disappointing but better than the original offer.

I found the company online and the site was easy to locate value of the phone i wanted to sell. The label arrived in minutes and the whole process of sending and receiving the monies all in less than week. Kept me updated on receipt and payment. Thank you

Offered £570 for an iPhone 17, so sent it off. When they examined it, price was reduced to £270 because it was not a UK phone, but a Nordic phone. I bought the phone at the Newcastle Apple Store and have the receipt, but according to these guys it was a foreign phone so hard for them to sell.

I contacted Apple, who explained that all Northern European phones are the same. The only difference would be in the wording on the printed instructions, but the hardware and software are the same.

My watch was devalued because of scratches on the side, and I suppose if you are going to use a micron microscope you will find them. On inspection when I got it back I can't see any scratches.

On the plus, when I asked them to return they did and covered postage. Sold the same phone to Music magpie for a matched offer, no hassle, no fuss and no excuses.

I have noticed many of the reviews note that they often devalue once received, I guess playing on people not wanting the hassle of the return.

Run purchased a mac on ebay supposed to be in excellent condition no dents well box it arrived In was terrible and yes there was dents on back
Keyboard barely worked on one side full of crumbs and some weird sticky stuff and also battery was bad turned of on full charge contact sell on ebay had one email only say he cleaned keyboard that was the only reply I had. This was supposed to be a fully refurbished item dont bothere with them
