Xfinity constantly having outages

Xfinity constantly having outages, even when they’re not working on it. Just got rid of them after 5 years, down hill service, avoid if possible. Only after you complain, will your service work, who has time for that bs? Update: T-Mobile 5G service now, works flawlessly, bundle if possible with phone service. 💪

Omg seriously! Unacceptable!

Initially. I was extremely irritated with Javier's sales tactics but then it slid further down the rabbit hole. Javier said anything to make the sale and pushed through things at a very rapid pace. I felt a little dirty after, not unlike the day after blackout binge drinking with friends then being booted from a strangers house, commando at 7am on a Saturday, as your underwear, dignity and sunglasses have mysteriously gone MIA. He also said there would be no bills sent until a month after install. I don't have service yet, however a bill was sent to a family members house with their name on it and not to my address with my name... I simply inquired about getting my parents service. Never gave him any of their info. He did ask for their number so he could call them and I suspected, be just a pushy with them...I don't think so Javier! He also told me that install was $200.00. when I looked on the website, it's $100.00. So, 80% slower speed @ 1 quarter the cost. Xfinity boasting 1gbps and generally delivering 80mbps, so there's that I guess... Seems I may be heading down a spiral to hell. Centurylink's business offices are available only 8 to 6 Monday through Friday with the only thing running 24/7 is the pushy sales department that lies. Something is horribly wrong with this...

Optimum is This is the worse Cable/Internet company

This is the worse company, they don’t care about their customer, they keep charging for extra service not received, won’t reimbursed, customer service agent fighting with customer back and forth. I’m cancelling this horrible company. I will not recommended to anyone... Ive called over and over again, was told a supervisor will contact me, escalated the issue, never was contacted by no one nor my issue was escalated..They are the worse of the worse.

Rory's attitude.

Rory was absolutely helpful his attitude was amazing put me in a good mood, after 2 previous calls with people with poor attitudes Rory my 3rd call had the best one, answered all my questions perfectly.

Century-link is THE SLOWEST INTERNET ON…

Century-link is THE SLOWEST INTERNET ON EARTH! I can’t even watch a movie without the constant load bar, even if nothing else is on. If you’re lucky you’ll finish a show without it cutting out and making me have to restart completely and search for the movie or show I was catching all over again. and you can forget about playing video games. Customer service is terrible also they seem to have the (it’s not my job attitude) for any issue you have. and they even hang up on you and refuse to transfer you to a supervisor. I live in an area we’re Service Companies are limited and there were no other providers until recently. I am very happy to be switching after 6+ years.

Wow Very Impressed

Wow, I actually got to talk to a real person (Mario). Who by the way was the nicest and most helpful human on the planet. Super personable and just a joy to talk to. I am excited to see how the service works out.

One call

One call. A real live person ( Super Robert) was mine, He answered all my questions and explained the differences between the services offered. I would highly recommend!

Easy and done

OK. I'm moving and that's always a busy time. I don't want to get there and find out that I forgot about my important connections! I'm so glad that I was smart enough to click on InMyArea.com. I'm all hooked up with internet, phone, TV with one phone call. I know exactly who, what, where, when and why everything will be done! Check all that off the list with no problems. Badabing

Very dissatisfied with the company

Very dissatisfied with the phone conversation I just had with them. Viastat is a company with the LAZIEST installation contractors. Now I still have no internet and our company is out the $100 deposit. We will find our own company who will install. Ugh!!!
