I ordered two mattresses in January. Never received the mattresses and never received my refund. Don’t bother trying to reach them. They will ignore you and keep your money. This is fraud!! How is the company allowed to stay in business?!!!
On 10.24.2021 I purchased a mattress on idle sleep website. After a delayed delivery, March 8.2021 I requested a return because I did not like the mattress it our donation . It came with a 18 month free return policy. I reached out to them and they sent me a donation form which was filled out and submitted. On May 25.2021 idle sleep confirmed via email they received our donation form and they submitted a request for the refund. They said to allow 7-10 day for the refund to show on our account. After repeated email and phone call attempts they will not respond or credit the $505.16 for the cost of the mattress.
Bought and paid for a mattress that comes with an 18 month money back warranty. After 8 months of trying out the mattress and my back pain worsening I contacted the Idle sleep company and asked about the warranty. The customer service rep told me that I had three ways in which to return the mattress for a full refund. The three option were to have a company they contract with come and pick the mattress up, donate it to a company like goodwill or donate it to someone in need. I choose the first option, tried to schedule a pickup and the company they suggested had no contract with idle and couldn’t schedule a pick up. I called the company again and chose to donate the mattress to my coworkers brother. I filled out the receipt sent it to them and have yet to receive my refund. This was over a month ago. I called a service rep and they said they are having an issue with PayPal and that’s what the hold up is. The rep couldn’t give me a timeline on when they will have that issue resolved. I’m starting to believe that it’s not a PayPal issue but a idle sleep issue. Bottom line for me is if you are going to say you can return for a refund within a certain amount of time and you follow their return criteria then the company should honor that warranty in a timely manner!
I gave the review two stars because the service reps where friendly and helpful to a point. The bed was also well made just not made for me and my back.
*Update: got my refund today…so yes they do have a refund policy and do honor it even if it doesn’t happen within the 5-7 day quoted. The bed was well made but the medium hybrid mattress to me is very soft. If you are looking for a soft medium bed it’s a good one to purchase.
Ordered mattresses from them on Nov 30. They indicated they would ship in 3-5 business days. I checked 3 more times and they gave me the same answer. Finally, on Jan 5th, i cancelled my order and then they said it would take 5-10 business days to process the credit. Really ? They can charge you immediately but cant refund you. I still have not received a refund yet. Do not do business, they are a scam !!
