Terrible company. They lie to the customer to get them to buy there products. Customer specifically asked if they pay for OEM parts because customer has not had much luck with aftermarket parts and they told him over the phone that indeed they do. Unfortunately the very first claim that the customer submitted this company refused to pay for OEM part ($469) and said that they could supply a OEM part for much cheaper ($175) I told the customer that there is no way that they are sending him a OEM part being $175 when it turned out to be a aftermarket Dorman part and it was even the wrong part to boot. So now the customers vehicle has been on my lift for 8 days and still have to wait for them to send me the “correct part” If anyone is even thinking of buying this warranty RUN AWAY as fast as you can!! Shady company with shady practices!

P.S. in response to your response. How did I charge 3x for a part when clearly the list price is $469 for a OEM part not a crappy Dorman aftermarket part that you supplied.

Don’t LIE and say that the customers car is repaired and happy! You guys never even sent the CORRECT part after you sent me the WRONG part. Lol. Why not tell the truth that the customer CANCELED his warranty with you guys as your company is SHADY and DECEPTIVE!!! Don’t tell a customer that you pay for OEM parts only to turn around and offer a cheap aftermarket part. I don’t know how you got so many 5 star reviews but I’m SURE they are all from EMPLOYEES and FRIENDS of your company!!! STAY AWAY from this COMPANY you been WARNED!!!

Response to their UPDATE: They are lying about the customers car being repaired as the customer was so upset that he told me that he called up and cancelled his warranty with this company!!! How can you trust a company that doesn’t even tell the truth??? This company stated that you can get a full refund in 30 days if not COMPLETELY SATUSFIED. This company refused to give the customer a full refund and only offered a half refund. According to the customer he is currently filing a lawsuit in small claims court. The truth will come out.

In purchasing a warranty for my vehicle, I have communicated with Shaun from Ideal and I have to say he has been just terrific in how he handled the whole process which was over a long period of time. That was do to me holding off during this pandemic. He has spent time with me going over the coverage and has always given me time to make a decision. He has been helpful and patient. I learned a lot about car warrant companies during my recent search for a used SUV. Without going into all the details, I feel iDeal Auto Protect is the real deal. I felt I received excellent personal service with no pressure. I read through their contract and there could not find any tricks or traps. I had a few questions and Shaun answered them to my satisfaction immediately.

I was certainly not impressed with "top-rated" warranty companies when compared to iDeal. Just keep in mind that most of these other warranty companies are nothing more than brokers, while iDeal is the actual warranty company. While the top-rated warranty companies (or brokers) are highly so is iDeal.
