I’ve gotta say very happy with this purchase. It’s been about a week since I set it up. Aesthetically it is beautiful and functionally, it works better than any other I’ve tried. Friends of mine have other brands that all claim to get to 37°F, but are only pushing a max of 45°F. I turned it on the first night I got it and by morning the water was so cold it started to thicken. (Oh and this was all during a 90 to 100° heat wave.) the temperature was reading 37 within 4 to 5 hours. Would definitely recommend. The sales team also hooked me up with a cheaper price than listed online so if anyone’s interested, I would definitely reach out to the sales team before proceeding to purchase online.

The barrel itself looks fantastic, is built with high-quality materials, and fits perfectly into my garden. You can tell that both quality and design were top priorities.

Unfortunately, I feel compelled to leave a negative review regarding the water cleaning emulsion I purchased from IceTubs. While I have been satisfied with the tub itself, I was genuinely surprised by the price of this accessory. After completing the purchase, I conducted more thorough research and discovered that the exact same product is available directly from the original manufacturer for €49.50 per unit, including VAT and shipping within the EU.

It appears that IceTubs is simply repackaging the original product and reselling it at nearly double the price. In my view, this practice is not acceptable—especially for customers who have already invested over €5,000 in a premium product.

A company positioned in the high-end segment should treat its customers with transparency and fairness, even when it comes to accessories. I hope IceTubs will reconsider this pricing strategy in the interest of maintaining long-term customer trust.

After initially posting a critical „one star review“ regarding the pricing of cleaning accessories sold via the Icetubs webshop, I was positively surprised by the way the company – and in particular the COO – responded.

Following a personal and constructive exchange with the team, I felt heard and taken seriously. The company acknowledged my feedback and confirmed they are reviewing their accessory pricing structure internally.

Even more importantly, they showed openness, maturity, and a clear customer-centric mindset – offering a goodwill gesture and demonstrating they’re not just focused on premium product sales, but also on building lasting customer relationships.

This kind of responsiveness is what differentiates a brand in today’s market. I therefore revised my review accordingly and would encourage others to reach out constructively, as Icetubs appears genuinely committed to improving and evolving.

We purchased our ice barrel from Icetubs last year and absolutelly love it. Great quality, looks very sleek and functions perfectly. Part of our health routine! Customer sevrice has always been super helpful, too!

I can join the many positive reviews of IceTubs. I myself have an IceTub-XL that I use every single day. The quality is really good, and the design is too. The only reason I’m not giving the maximum number of stars is the very high operating costs for filters. According to IceTubs’ own support department, their filters CANNOT be cleaned and reused, but should be replaced every single month. Since these filters are quite expensive (€30 each when buying six at a time), this means you must factor in a significant ongoing cost for maintenance. According to IceTubs, their filters are designed not to withstand cleaning. This is a major drawback, as with other manufacturers it is perfectly normal to be able to clean and reuse filters to some extent.

Bad transportation service, no set up support available, only to door delivery.

Ik heb na veel wikken en wegen een Icetub besteld en die werd heel snel geleverd. De aansluiting is een fluitje van een cent. Vier moertjes aandraaien en de app installeren. Ik ga nu elke ochtend in bad en breng de temperatuur geleidelijk aan naar beneden en blijf er langer in. Na een paar weken is het water nog steeds kraak helder. We willen na het verversen dat water gebruiken voor de tuin. Al met al een fantastische ervaring. Sneller herstel na een dagje zwaar trainen of na Koningsdag 😊

Ice Barrel XL purchased. It is well made, well designed and a quality product which encourages one to cold plunge every day. Compared to my previous ice barrel, this one is next level. The build quality is superb and all components very high end.
The set-up was really simple and very quick.
Both the cooling and heating is very efficient. 9C cold water immersion and 38C hot water therapy easily achievable in the same day.
The compressor is relatively quiet in operation, 40db quoted in spec. You can hear the quality built into the motor when running.
I highly recommend the ice barrel XL with the heater upgrade.

Man wird bestens über den Stand der Lieferung informiert. Die Lieferung vom Spediteur lief auch sehr gut.
Der Aufbau ist simpel. Was mir nicht so gut gefällt und warum ich nur 4 Sterne vergebe sind die plastikanschlüsse. Es tropft immer wieder, es wäre gut wenn noch dichtband geliefert würde damit man das Gewinde verdichten kann. Ansonsten alles absolut top!

Posso solo consigliarlo, la qualità è superba e ogni volta che lo uso sono entusiasta di questo "masterpiece". Ce l'ho in gardino da circa 1 mese, ed attira l'attenzione e la curiosità di tutti i nostri ospiti.

Avevo iniziato la mia prassi di "Ice bathing" in una semplice vasca di plastica e dopo 2 mesi di routine ,soprattutto grazie ai benefici riscontrati, ho deciso di acquistare qualcosa di serio: regolazione della temperatura, pulizia automatica dell'acqua, facile manutenzione della vasca dopo lo svuotamento periodico e un prodotto di alta qualità.

Inizialmente ero scettico a causa del prezzo molto alto, ma alla fine mi sono convinto grazie al fatto che esteticamente è bellissima e l'intera vasca è in acciaio inox. La gestione tramite smart app è semplice e funzionale.

L'unica imperfezione è il porta telefono, che potrebbe essere migliorato un po', ma sono già in contatto con l'azienda, che sta cercando di implementare la mia proposta di miglioramento.

Het product, welke ik dagelijks gebruik, warm en koud....heeft tot nu toe feilloos gewerkt, ongeveer een jaar nu.
Vooral het ´persoonlijk´ en snel reageren is fijn....en steeds duidelijke communicatie, en vooral steeds zoekend naar oplossing en geen ´ja maar´....toestanden.

ondanks dat de levering uitgesteld was en ik wat langer moest wachten heb ik uiteindelijk de tub in goede orde ontvangen. De kwaliteit is top (ik heb zelf een icetub XL) en maak er elke dag gebruik van. Echt een aanrader. trap moet je er echt wel bij hebben want de tub is best hoog

Als dagelijkse gebruiker van een ijsbad en tevens als Wim Hof-instructeur bij The Lemon Lodge in Portugal, heb ik al heel wat verschillende baden geprobeerd. Na meerdere DIY-projecten en andere merken die het na een paar maanden intensief gebruik en buiten staan begaven, heb ik eindelijk hét perfecte ijsbad gevonden: IceTubs.

Niet alleen werkt dit bad uitstekend, het ziet er ook het beste uit én isoleert uitzonderlijk goed. Omdat wij off-grid leven, is efficiënt energieverbruik cruciaal. IceTubs is het eerste bad dat niet constant de motor laat draaien – hij schakelt automatisch uit zodra de gewenste temperatuur is bereikt. Dit bespaart enorm veel energie en is een groot voordeel voor ons zonne-energiesysteem.

Daarnaast is het filtersysteem fenomenaal, waardoor het water veel langer schoon blijft en minder onderhoud vergt. Dit is een gamechanger, vooral in de Algarve, waar water schaars is.

Wij zijn absoluut fan van IceTubs – een echte aanrader voor iedereen die serieus met koudetraining aan de slag wil!

I ve got a xl baril and have been using it for a month now. So far I m happy with it and recommend it you re into cold exposure. Easy to maintain and to set the desire temperature. I change the water every 4 weeks
