Can’t give 0 stars - these people are horrendous - I am disabled and parked in the montegue car park in Mexborough. I had no change so attempted to go to the shop directly next to the car park and I fell on the stairs I was helped by a shop assistant and a police officer back to my car which took about 13 mins and my blue badge was clearly displayed - my daughter was close by and arrived to drive me to A&E because I had hurt my shoulder and cut my face - in total my car was parked up for 18 mins. When the fine arrived I appealed and was turned down flat - I’m 56 years old and never had a ticket in my life - shocking heartless people

I am amazed they took £70.99 without completing my booking now I can’t get through to anyone to get my money back.. terrible how they can take my money without confirmation or completion of form!! I expect a full refund ASAP.

Absolutely disgusting people. My 11 week old baby was in hospital a few weeks ago, we quickly flew out to get some food for both me and dad as we hadn’t eaten since the morning and was in for a long night. Not thinking we just parked up and ran in.(our heads clearly not in the mind frame for looking at signs as we didn’t know what was wrong with our baby). We have received a fine. I have appealed, apologising for parking there and the reasons for it that our heads were all over the place. They have rejected in. Clearly no sympathy what so ever. Let’s hope none of their children end up in hospital

Absolutely awful to deal with got fined twice whilst on holiday ! Signage not clear phoned to say I had paid at an old machine said it was phone payments only Wich was a load of crap said nothing about paying by Ringo on sign don't even know what that is should be locked up for theft 120.quid if I pay it straight away

Scammers and I don't know how they sleep at night. I parked at St George's Car park behind Huddersfield station. Was early for train so sat in my car for 20 mins before paying. Then duly paid the £4.00 all day rate. A week later a letter to say I hadn't paid within 15 mins of arrival and a £100 fine. Refused my appeal and said no mitigating circumstances. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

This should be no stars! Avoid Mexborough Montague Car Park at all costs or it will cost you £100! Pay for a ticket and the machine incorrectly prints the registration number ( the keypad conveniently sticks!) and then a few days later the fine arrives. They reject appeals even when proof of payment has been sent to them. Scammers!

Montague hx parking paid my parking for 1hr pressed buttons but ticket came out with just jj on it was only in there 20 mins aswell week later fine for 60 pound arrives asked them to look on there records as it would be very unlikely that somebody else would have entered that reg but didn't want to listen just wondering how many this has happened to complete scammers

So my honest feedback.. these people must have problems sleeping at night.
A £60 penalty charge, in a free car park, for failing to display a blue badge correctly. No morals and no understanding following appeal. A disgraceful company determined to make money at all costs, no matter what hardship they may cause.

Avoid Montagu Car Park Mexborough managed by HX car park management.
You pay for parking and machine is faulty so doesn't print ticket correctly, you then get a penalty charge notice for non payment.
Appeals process is a complete waste of time. I will never use any of their car parks again. Disgusting greedy bullies 😤

Oh dear, is this for real, your company sends a man with a camera to take photos of cars parked over a line and then sends them a fine. Shame on you living off the backs of the working class.Have a nice day.

I have had to send off my Blue badge as I admit an error made with not opening it fully, however i have submitted an appeal along with my Badge proof of being valid I am hoping they will honor a genuine mistake being made and remove the charges.

Whilst towing a horsebox down salterhebble in Halifax my horse become unsettled in the box. I pulled in to attend to it and was stopped approx 10mins. Got a pcn from HX £60. Appealed stating the reason. I didn't win. They said I should have read the signs and rung them.

I wasn't thinking of signs I was thinking about my horse.

When visiting a colleague for a return to work after a child bereavement HX have demanded £240 for being in the car park for an extra 30 minutes. They removed the charge for the other person but upheld mine. Absolutely disgusting.

Parking time has been reduced to 3 hours with no extra signs, you spend an average of £50 per hour at least and you get a fine of a £100 AVOID shopping at St James retail park

Hi I tried to inform them that on my parkology app I used my old regtration number. First thir 1st letter never arrived so I cannot now appeal.I've now received the second but cannot contact them via email. Reference number AN171589 i have proof that I paid for parking that day.

Vermin. Rude, couldn't care less and got a parking ticket for using the site shop. Dirty store, under stocked shelves, over priced fuel, shocking service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

They say my wife breached a contract by the way she parked. No contract was agreed with HX Car park management or signed with HX or payment made to enter a contract. The term breach of contract is not a legal in respect of this. They also discriminate against the disabled with poor signage in disabled parking bays, despite producing clear evidence there is no clear signage in that area. I was not informed by email or post my appeal had failed with them and the fine rose to £100 pounds, the appeal procedure is a joke. They hide by not giving e mail or phone contact details, this a cowardly company. Picking on the disabled is the lowest anyone can get.

NO STARS!!!! Absolutely disgusting company! Not interested in your financial situation, all the staff you speak to are rude but I suppose why would they have good customer service skills when they don’t need it, they are just there to take money off you...must be great telling people you work for this company! they don’t care or ask if you are struggling with bills especially with the current situation, they just send you to solicitors that add on £60 that then send threatening letters, the solicitors are just as bad! Greedy scamming company that unfortunately are still running and charging extortionate fines!
