Do not buy from this company

We ordered the Voltrix bike online as it said it was in stock and would ship the next day - nothing has been sent. The store does not respond at all to messages or emails and their phone number is fake. If it was simply that there was a delay in shipping, I would’ve been fine with that. But no response at all is very concerning. Will be reporting them and chasing up a refund. Do not buy from this company.

UPDATE: My order number is 55262. If the product cannot be sent the next business day then that should be removed from your website to avoid unrealistic expectations.

I was sent a tracking link after posting this review, however when I check it with the courier it says ‘Item not received from sender’, so it still has not been shipped yet.

I saw you reply to another customer on Facebook saying the bikes will be back in stock Mid December - does this mean you currently do not have the stock to send?

I would appreciate an accurate and realistic update on when my order will actually be dispatched. Thank you

UPDATE 2:
Still no response from Hoveroo. Tracking link still says item not received from sender. Even if they actually send my order this week it is unlikely to arrive by Christmas.

Hoveroo is a complete scam - they are knowingly taking people’s money when they know they do not have to stock to fulfil the orders. All the while their ads are still popping up on my Facebook feed to try and sell more.

They will not respond to any enquiry and are using the holiday period as an excuse for their complete lack of customer service. Yet they will take the time to respond to negative reviews on here as an attempt to sound legitimate.

I have requested a full refund and lodged a complaint with fair trading.

It's a scam.

We ordered 7 days ago no tracking, number is fake, check their Facebook page. Click mentions tab, not the content posted by them.. look at everyone's reviews. Serious scam and can't believe we fell for this. Devastated little boy won't be getting quad bike this birthday.

During peak season (from early November through Black Friday and into Christmas), we receive an extremely high volume of enquiries. Our system responds in the order messages are received — but when multiple follow-up emails are sent, the ticket automatically gets a new timestamp and is pushed to the end of the queue each time.

This is why repeated messages can delay a reply, not speed it up.

This is only a peak-season effect — outside this period, replies usually go out within 24 hours on weekdays.

3. Phone line clarification

Our phone number is not a live call centre.
All warranty and support requests must go through email or chat so we can properly record photos, videos, and documentation for our technical team.

4. Warranty support is always available

False advertisement

Website is showing the product I ordered as in stock and deliverable in a few days. This is a lie. The product is out of stock. The phone number is not manned by humans. The email take 5 days to get a response and this is between 3am and 5am so when it is replied to upon waking up, no response is recieved. Not happy.

I have emailed

I have emailed, tried calling, Facebook messaging and still no response to a tracking number for my order.
I purchased on 26th November and only have confirmed order that's it. Hopefully someone can get back to me in relation to the hooverboard and hooverboard kart I purchased and when it will be delivered. It's false advertising what's stated on web sites! Your order was placed on 26 November, and when our team attempted to dispatch it, the carrier system flagged your address as incomplete. Your own message to us confirmed “my address sometimes doesn’t come up”.

We cannot ship until an address can be validated — otherwise the parcel risks being returned or lost.
Once you confirmed the correct format, your order was fulfilled and shipped on 5 December, which is still a normal turnaround during the Black Friday/Christmas peak.

2. Tracking updates were delayed — which is normal during peak season

Your parcel did not show scans until 8 December, but this does not mean it wasn’t shipped.
Carriers routinely have delayed first scans when handling thousands of parcels per day.

Customer service.

Don’t respond to emails, calls, Facebook or their live chat. When purchasing the product it stated in stock ready to ship. 10 days later still not shipped even though shipping states 1-4 days. They also claim 24/7 customer service, not sure what they’re paying people or how many bots saying great customer service that’s a lie.

Lack of communication and slow processing

Disappointed in the lack of communication and delays.
I ordered a hoverboard a week ago and the website says shipping within 24 hours - delivery 4-7 days. It has not even been shipped after a week and I have not been able to contact Hoveroo by phone, had no response to email, Facebook message or online chat for several days.

We are currently in peak season (Black Friday → Christmas), and order/enquiry volumes are significantly higher than usual.
During non-peak seasons, we respond within 24 hours and dispatch orders within 24 hours on weekdays.
Right now, service times are longer due to the surge — not a lack of care.

📌 Important clarification about your order’s dispatch

Your order was submitted on Saturday, 22 November.
We processed and fulfilled it the very next day, Sunday, 23 November.
Your shipping label was printed on Nov 23 to prepare it for courier pickup the next business day.
The parcel was handed over to the courier on Monday, 24 November — the earliest possible pickup since carriers do not collect on weekends.
Your order was dispatched well within normal timeframes, especially during peak season.

📌 Why communication seemed delayed

We reply to messages in the order they are received.

Money taken and no product sent!

I bought something on their website, the money has been taken, but they have not sent anything and have lost the order. I can't provide an order number if you didn't send me an email. Communication, price and delivery

Well firstly after lots of research and checking about the product we were interested in Hoveroo were just brilliant to deal with, there communication, cost and delivery to country Victoria could not be faulted, so much so we purchased a another product. Our grandkids just love them. With lots of sellers out there we’re so happy we chose Hoveroo. Thankyou, keep up doing what you do it’s just great.

I have nothing but great things to say about the quality of the hover boards still works as new and i brought it 3 years ago and this year I had accidentally brought 2 electric scooters through them and they were quick to refund me before shipment which was such a relief save me a big head ache thank you Hoveroo will definitely be recommending to family and friends

No customer service

I placed an order for a kart, it was expected to be shipped within 5-7 days. This has not happened, I have no shipping information nor can I get anyone to answer my calls or emails to let me know what is happening. It’s a birthday present for next week and it’s highly unlikely we will have it in time or at all.

Hoveroo off road hover board

I bought an off road hoverboard with cart attachment. First we had problems with the cart scratching the hoverboard to the extent that there is gouging on both sides of the board that it is now white not black. The board is now not charging, is only 13 months old and just out of warranty. I have been informed the product is not covered under warranty and I can purchase another one for 20% off. I would expect a $500 board to last longer than 12 months. Would not recommend buying from this company, look elsewhere.

Your hoverboard was covered by a 12-month warranty, which applies to manufacturing defects. During that full year, the unit functioned normally with no reported issues. When a product performs as expected for the entire warranty period, it indicates that the device did not have a manufacturing fault — rather, any issues arising after long-term use are generally related to wear, usage conditions, or natural component fatigue, which is normal for all electric ride-ons.

Many of our customers are still using our hoverboard for several years without issue, and longevity depends not only on the price, product quality but also on how the device is used, cared for, and the conditions it has been exposed to. These factors have a significant impact on battery life and internal components.

Regarding the scratches from the kart attachment:

Hoverkarts connect tightly to the hoverboard frame for safety and stability. Because of that secure fit, cosmetic scratches or rubbing marks are unavoidable — not just with our hoverboards, but with any brand when paired with a kart attachment.

Once your device reached 13 months and was outside the warranty period, we offered a 20% courtesy discount toward a replacement. This is not required under warranty policy, but we provided it to support you with an affordable solution.

I bought a kids scooter and protective gear as well and I paid the extra for the express delivery and cover in case anything happens, I stayed home from work that day waiting for it because it was my daughter birthday day well I waited nothing arrived I have a camera out the front of mine aswell I should add and I looked and it said delivered and it wasn't delivered to me he delivered it to a neighbours place didn't knock or have me sign or even knock on the neighbours door and he pretty much left one package on neighbours balcony and the protective gear is no where to be seen in the photo just one package well my street has a bad rep for people stealing packages and what not, I complained and tried calling straight after it said delivered and it took them two days to get back to me by then my delivery is well gone and there was no way of finding it or getting help from them to see where or any help to retrieve it, why would someone leave a $360 package out the front of a house and not knock or have me sign for it and I never gave authority to have it left there hooveroo done that on there be half and my poor daughter woke up to no gift I'm a single parents so I lost a days pay from work and lost $360 and my daughter had no birthday present and they still haven't sorted the matter it's been a week no scooter no protective gear and I can't send the cctv footage through email it's big I have the cctv footage of nothing coming and I called the police they have said I actually by law can't give them the footage or take a photo of the neighbours house since it private property and they won't give me my money back or the item, be careful because I think this site is a scam, wouldn't recommend it.
