Incorrect logo & disappointing support
We recently purchased the Hoveroo PedalPals Trike, which arrived promptly and is of good quality. However, the frame logo reads “Strength” along with Japanese characters instead of “Hoveroo,” as stated in the product description. Attempts to contact customer support have been unsuccessful - emails receive no reply (not even an automated response), phone calls go straight to voicemail, and the online messenger has yielded no response. I will allow some time for a response given the peak period, but the lack of communication and the discrepancy in item description have resulted in a three-star deduction. Please respond with replacement information.

My father ordered on the 7th December, we are now at day 5 and still have no tracking number, it is impossible to get ahold of the support team emails aren’t being responded to and multiple calls have been attempted. I see that reviews have been responded to faster then emails of customers concerns..

I had ordered a e bike for my son for Christmas with promise that it would be delivered in 4 days. It is now well over the order delivery promise.
I have sent numerous emails, tried calling, contacted on instagram and Facebook with NO RESPONSE!
This is not good enough and at this point it’s theft or a scam. I will be contacting the bank and taking this further if it is not resolved by this evening at 5pm.
I highly recommend to NOT order from this company. There is so many reviews stating the same thing. This company needs to be shut down.

I ordered a thunderbolt motorbike for my son, thinking it’s gonna be dispatched this week and yet still have not received any notification that it has been sent, I have tried to call and email and still haven’t received no response. This is a Santa present for my 5 year old son that I don’t know if it’s gonna arrive in time as no one is replying to my emails. Can someone please respond an give me an answer if it’s not gonna come in time I would go to another company and ask for a refund I don’t want to see the disappointment on my sons face as this is his only present for Christmas morning !

Update:
I was contacted by the company offering to honour the original promotion in exchange for me altering this review. They have done so and I really do feel this company is attempting to rectify the issues that were had by many over Christmas and Black Friday. Whilst remain annoyed that it took 4 months and many attempts at communication from me to have this sorted, I am satisfied with the final outcome and hopeful they have heard their customers and will do better from now on. The biggest positive from this has been our great boards that we have had no issues with - great product and hopefully they will continue the great service I have received in the last week with all their customers going forward.

My issue is not with the product as I have not got it yet but it’s been 2 weeks no shipping no communication and no response to my attempts to contact on various different platforms
UPDATE: no communication except an email saying my order has been refunded. No reason to as why as same products still available on website. The ACCC needs to look into this scam company
UPDATE: they have finally responded saying it was cancelled because of shipping cost to where I live. Which is not relevant since their website expresses FREE DELIVERY AUSTRALIA WIDE. my feeling is that it was cancelled because I ordered on the Black Friday deal and got the free hoverkart.
I have reported to ACCC urge all people who have had issues to do the same
FINAL UPDATE: they contacted me requesting that I remove this review pointing out that I had ordered one previously that was delivered so they are not a scam. I agreed to remove the review if they sent the hoverkart that was part of the Black Friday promotion that they cancelled and have heard nothing since.
As I had one child one for Christmas I took a chance and ordered a second under a different name address etc and it was delivered (to same town that they said shipping was to expensive).
I believe that all the issues are related to them not wanting to fulfil their promotions.
Ultimately I do have 2 hoverboards now but am praying for no warranty issues because this company has been an utter nightmare from day one.

Made an order on the 28th November. It’s now dec 10th and have still not received any information on whether my order has been posted or not.
Tried emailing no luck, tried chat, you get no where! Tried calling and that gets you no where also.
Beginning to think they are a scam , have put in a dispute with Afterpay.

I needed to receive it by today and have tried to contact them via multiple channels - have sent several emails, several facebook messages with no response. Tried calling, can’t get through to anyone. Tried chatting via live chat but no one is there! Absolutely terrible customer service.
Incomplete Order From 6th November 2025
We placed our order on 6th November 2025 (Order #50442) for over $1,500 on Xmas presents for our children. To date (10 December 2025), we have received less than half of the products ordered. I have emailed hoveroo support on multiple occasions and no reply. It's extremely disappointing when the company continues to promote and market their products when they can't deliver and have happily taken our money. We still have no idea where/when the remainder of our order will be received..... Fast forward some 5 months later (Apr2026), Hoverroo have reached out to rectify the situtation. Despite us eventually receiving all our order 1 day before Xmas, they have reached out to make things right, which is a kind gesture. All is well that ends well and good on them for at least trying to right a wrong.

If I could put in negative stars I would. Spent over $1k on electric bikes for xmas. Purchased on 26/11/2025 and still not dispatched. Will not answer phones. Chat bot takes a very long time to respond and no responses to emails. On limited occasions i've been able to reach someone on chat, said it's due to black Friday sales and shipment expected this week. If you don't have resourcing to meet black Friday demands then don't participate or change your business model. Most likely won't be here in time for xmas. How shameful to ruin Christmas for so many children. Requested full refund (including shipping of $200 which was supposed to be free as per website???) with no response. Extremely disapointed. Have reported to Scamwatch and I suggest you do too.

Ordered electric buggy 29/11 with delivery for 2-7 days. Sent emails and messages, and phoned : number is only a recording telling you to email. No responses until I advised I was contacting police and ACCC. Then got a fake Aust Post Tracking Number - Aust Post confirmed it was not from them and was generated by Hoveroo. Now 13 days in and still no tracking information. Have reported to ACCC Scamwatch and bank, and am now reporting to Police - fraud of $1398.00. Order No. 55137 for delivery to Stratford in Cairns

Extremely Poor Communication and No Updates regarding process of order.
I placed an order with Hoveroo over a week ago 30/11/25, Payment taken straight away, their website stated “next day dispatch,” which was one of the main reasons I purchased. Unfortunately, I haven’t received any updates at all.
I’ve tried every contact method available — phone, email, live chat, Facebook Messenger — and haven’t received a single response. But we are still getting hit with consistent marketing emails advertising the product and dispatch next day.
The communication from this company has been non-existent, and the claims on their website about a 24/7 support team a misleading from our experience.
I work in retail management and there is no excuse for the non existent communication - especially in high peak trading times.
When placing the order our address was confirmed and delivery fee paid $250 - so no issues with Address.
All indicators so far are alarming and misleading for this website and Company...Scam alert.
I have contacted department of fair trading for a refund and to alert them of the unprofessionalism of Hoveroo.

Never received and they have not responded to any of my emails, calls, Facebook messages and online chat. I sat online for 2 days waiting to be connected! Absolute scam. Order 53538.

Honestly, the worst company I have ever had to deal with. No emails are answered, the phone is a ghost machine and the 24/7 Facebook chat is a bunch of Bull. No one answers. I love the claim that at this time is hard and the process to answer the enquires, but if you actually deliver what you claim in the website you wouldn’t have so many people chasing you down.
I bought a voltrix dirk bike on the 27th of November and not even a word from them since. Not even an explanation.. while on the website says next day dispatch (and no, does not say anything about peak trade. So that excuse is flawed). Also, they claimed free delivery on the item (I still have the print, since they changed after I enquire about it), and charged me. On the website claims and I quote “All orders are fulfilled from our warehouse in Sydney within 24 hours. We only use Australia Post as a shipping carrier for maximum reliability. Enjoy Free Shipping with every order, we got you covered. If you need your order quicker we also offer Express Shipping options. Delivery times Australia-Wide:Free Shipping: 4 - 7 Days Express

Don’t make promises you can’t keep.
I bought this item for Christmas, and I don’t get it by then I’ll be seeking legal action. I have more than 10 prints from the website, claiming all sort of things that ain’t true.
Will never buy again or recommend this website to anyone.

On the 12th of December I received a tracking number for Hunter express, even though the Hoveroo website (as quoted above) claims only use Australia post… 3 days gone by and they have not yet received the item, just the label that has been created. Outrageous

Purchased the kids e bikes advertised as 3 speed with 8-24 km hr options hoveroo has since changed this to 2 speed 8-16km hr option. Havent had my order shipped and ordered nearly 2 weeks ago. Sent multiple emails and messages on their live chat saying to cancel my order and be refunded as false advertising. NO REPLY. Do not use this website as they are a scam website.
