DO NOT BUY!!
After reading some of Hoveroo's responses to complaints; even if they HAVE taken action to resolve issues- the sheer volume of faults and poor management of them makes me seriously regret buying from them.

Followed instructions to a tee.
Son rode for 10 minutes on christmas morning on a flat surface before it shut off completely. Only attempts to boot up when plugged into the charger. Charger light indicates "green" which means the board should function but it won't even turn on!! Followed Hoveroo reset instructions to no avail, Contacted Hoveroo several times with 0 response or communication. Return/ refund policy does absolutely nothing to protect the consumer.

Ordered a hoverboard for my daughter it was her Christmas present, it was faulty she got less then 15 minutes on it and it stopped working. I have been ringing for over a week sent multiple emails, msged on Facebook, instagram and live chat and nothing at all. I wouldn't trust this company very disappointing

Pathetic!!! Purchased a $700 item plus $150 freight ( I was charged extra after saying it was free) then to receive it does not work! No customer service, will not respond to emails! Disappointed 3 year old on Christmas Day and disappointed parents that wasted $850 of savings!!

I am so sorry I didn't read the reviews before purchasing. The customer service vis appalling. They do not answer the phone at all. I am left with a faulty product bought for Christmas and a very disappointed 11 year old. I would not recommend this company.

I placed an order with HOVEROO on Sunday, 21 December
I placed the order without even thinking of looking at the reviews which I normally do
Once I placed the order, I then went and looked at the reviews
Once I started reading the reviews, I started to freak out thinking that I wasn’t going to receive my order in time for Christmas
I did get express shipping and it said I was going to receive on 23 December which I did
My order arrived on time and is absolutely perfect

SCAM!! Ordered 2 x Hoveroos and only 1 delivered. Company won’t answer their phone or respond to emails. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE.

I would not recommend purchasing from this company. I have not received my full order, despite multiple attempts to contact them by email, phone, and online chat, and have received absolutely no response. No replacement or refund was provided, and I have now had to escalate the issue through PayPal.

Absolutely don’t trust this company. Same issues as others here - placed an order in November and took a month to arrive. Zero communication and you’re left on your own.
Seems slightly strange there’s a couple of similarly written 5 star reviews popped up recently….
And finally the specs (Advertised vs instructions in box):
Advertised 15km/hr top speed. Actual is 12
Advertised charging time 3hrs. Actual 5.
Advertised range 15km. Actual 6

Ordered over a week ago. Website GUARANTEED it would be here before now. The shipping number has not even been updated or received from the sender. So it is NO CHANCE of showing up before Christmas. The website automated chat doesn't achieve anything, calling the phone number achieves nothing. The business is operated by Tim Klein from Klein Imports PTY LTD and I would like answers from Tim about this. They are continuing to advertise right now despite hundreds of people complaining about deliveries from as far back as mid November not showing up, the website even right now on the 19th Dec is claiming it can SATILL get deliveries to people before Christmas. This has all the hallmarks of a pump and dump, sell as many as possible in the lead up to Christmas, torch the brand rep and move on with the money.

I made a near $850 dollar order on the 15/12/25 trusting that their claims were true that I would get in time for Christmas. Looked at reviews a few hours after I ordered thinking I had made a huge mistake as so many have had issues and i actually asked for a refund. Didnt need to worry. Got the firat package 2 days after ordering and the rest the day after. 3 days total delivery and im not even in a city!!! So happy. Thank you Hoveroo. Im sorry for doubting you ♡

Very disappointing, ordered 2 hoverboards for my kids Christmas over a week ago, received confirmation that it had been shipped but when tracking it shows items havnt been received from supplier. Phone calls and emails all left unanswered. Will have to get a refund through our bank.

After reading a lot of negative comments about this company after ordering, I was very anxious about possibly not receiving my order in time.
I can assure you the company were very helpful and got my order to me within 8 days. (ordered on 10/12 and arrived today 18/12) They were even out of stock on an item and contacted me to resolve asap. Make sure you're checking your tracking through the Aust Post website - not the Shop App.
The team would be under the pump at this time, which would be the reason the response time may take longer.

Ordered 3 items over $2600, received 1 item eventually.
The rest says cancelled when I track order. Can’t contact to either see if they are still coming or get a refund for what is over $2000 worth not delivered. They’ve replied to reviews here blaming work load ect but continue to advertise and send spam spouting next day delivery ect. Will be contacting ACCC judging by reviews this company is going to have an issue.

I ordered last Friday for both my sons Christmas presents. I paid additional money for express post on all packages. Still NO shipment. Will not answer phone calls, emails. Facebook messages etc. Starting to worry my kids wont have a Christmas present

Do not buy from this company. We bought a hoverboard that was hardly used, and it stopped working after the warranty period of 12 months. No offer to repair or replace. Given that we spent more than $300 on the item, we would have expected it to work for more than a year.

Yes I purchased the Scooter at the end of October 2024. One month after loosing my mother. It was a Christmas gift so was left unopened until Christmas. Was riden 3/4 times then placed inside. I believed it was something I was doing wrong charging it so I left it due to funeral arrangements, Christmas/New Years and the chaos that comes with school holidays. I have tried getting in contact through email on November 30th (more than happy to send screenshots) with no response, called your company 8 times and left messages with no response (again happy to send screenshots of the 8 phone calls) also sent a message to your Facebook page with no response.
I sat on your support chat for 45 minutes after it said a 15 minute wait with no response and a few days later i got an email saying someone came into the chat?

Your website says lifetime customer support (which I have not received) and hassle free warranty. So you have stated there LIFETIME customer support and hassle free warranty? But yet in small print under add to cart you have 1 year warranty?
There is no where on your website where it states longer wait times on replies due to Black Friday or Christmas.

I am happy to take this matter further with fair trading as I paid $269.95 for a product my children cannot use and a company that has only replied to me through a review page in which I have all the screenshots of the amount of times and the multiple platforms I have used to get in contact with you.

This is a Scam and the time periods for dispatch as well as response to enquiries is a complete sham.
I ordered a hoverboard and hover cart attachment for my daughter for Xmas back in November for $390. A fake label was created with Australia Post and nothing has been dispatched. No responses to emails, phone calls, social media or the online chat for over a week. This was a Xmas present and you are going to ruin her Xmas. I have had to use funds that I didn't have to purchase another one from another company. I have also reported this to Consumer Affair Victoria and will take it further again. Respond to my emails and refund my money immediately.

Absolute joke of a company delivery is still not arrived. Apauling customer service, no one answering calls or web chat. Disgraceful. Take your money then no communication

Order an item for my son for Christmas and I never came. They cancelled my order a week before Christmas not giving me enough time to organise another. Do not buy through this company
