I had a great experience with Hoveroo Australia. I had a damaged Hoveroo Strap, the strap was out of warranty yet they were kind enough to send another to me at no cost outside of the warranty period! How awesome is that. Thank you, my kids love their hoveroo hoverboards and cart. Lara
Awesome rider.
I bought the bundle kit , put it together and gave it to my granddaughter who mastered it in a day. She uses it at the skateboard rink over the road from where she lives. I know it states 8+ years but she is 3 and a bit and absolutely brilliant with it. I wish something like that was available when I was a kid. Excellent job guys.

All my kids love it, I've had to get one for each of them. Ordering and delivery for all 3 of them at different times was simple, easy and fast shipping!

Update on requesting replacement straps. “Michael” from “customer service” has now emailed asking for photos and videos of the broken straps several times. I have replied each time explaining they were thrown away due to having snapped. I ordered and received previous replacements straps at a cost of $15 just over a year ago without having to supply photos, so didn’t think this would be an issue. “Michael” has also replied with an email to tell me the hovercraft model is no longer in stock. I can see them online. I don’t need a new hovercraft, thank you. He then sent me a link directing me to buy a whole new seat for $129! No Micheal, I just need the $15 straps. He wants to know the date I purchased it. I’ve already said I’ll pay for the straps…just like I did last time. I know it’s not under warranty. I’d like a new customer service representative, as it appears “Michael” needs to find a new job more suited to his limited communication skills.

So bad
So bad. Please never buy from these people. We eventually received our product but it was severely damaged so couldn’t gift it as a Christmas present. We emailed the straight away but it took weeks for them to reply & the issue is still not fully resolved. Definitely more of a scam company.

My experience with Hoveroo – buyer beware
I’m sharing this so other parents know what they may be signing up for.
I purchased a Voltrix™ Outback 24V Terrain Master 4WD from Hoveroo for my son’s birthday. It worked for around 2–3 weeks, then stopped driving forward. Shortly after, it stopped moving altogether (forward or reverse).
Since mid-November I’ve been in repeated email contact with Hoveroo support. I’ve:
• Reported the fault promptly while under warranty
• Sent multiple follow-up emails
• Provided videos as requested (on more than one occasion)
• Confirmed the issue occurs in both manual and remote modes
Despite this, the issue remains unresolved more than two months later, with repeated requests for “one more video” and explanations about message queues rather than an actual fix, replacement, or refund.
My son has now missed months of being able to use his birthday present.
At this point I’ve requested a refund due to the prolonged delays and inability to remedy a clear warranty fault. I would strongly encourage anyone considering a purchase to factor in the after-sales support experience, not just the product listing.
Posting this in the hope it helps other families make an informed decision.
Beyond a Joke
So it’s been 50 days since Hoveroo received the electric motorcycle we returned. Hoveroo sent us the return label, they know the tracking number. They have the bike in their warehouse.
Here is the email I received from them today, 50 days later:
Kindly share the return tracking ID. Once the item reaches our warehouse, we will be happy to process your refund.

Hoping there was a cover that can wrap around the tires

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE. Placed an order which was shipped pretty quickly. Was meant to arrive and then nothing happened for over two weeks. Then it just randomly turned up with no prior warning to ensure that someone was home for delivery. No one to contact for support. Phone calls go unanswered, emails ignored, webchat ignored, Facebook and Instagram messages ignored.
The kids UTV toy does not take 30 minutes to build. Took two of us at least 3 hours because the pieces are all bent or faulty. The battery lasts about 30 minutes. All this for a grand total of $1000.
Absolutely shocking that a business like this can be selling products. Would love to hear back from them before I submit my complaint to the ACCC.
I purchased the kids Ride-On Electric…
I purchased the kids Ride-On Electric Go-Kart for $599, and in less than three months the battery capacity has dropped to about 25% of what it was when I first bought it. The product claims up to 90 minutes of operating time, but we’re barely getting 12 minutes now. This means my son can hardly enjoy it anymore or go on longer rides.
I’m extremely disappointed with the company’s customer service. They assigned someone to handle my emails, but I never receive a response, and no one answers the phone. Their voicemail is just an automated message saying email is the best way to communicate—which clearly isn’t working.
I really wish I had read some of the reviews beforehand; it would have saved me a lot of frustration and avoided this whole situation.
Terrible product
Terrible product. Purchased 2 with carts (near $900), 1 doesn't work at all now after minimal use, hoveroo refuse to help. PLUS alot of false advertisement on their Facebook (advertising off road hoverboard for $129, yet charging $400+ and won't honour advertised price). Fair trading here we come.
Happy with the product
Happy with the product. My 7-year-old son loves the product. The only issue I had was trying to get through to customer service. I tried on numerous occasions.
Other than that, a favourable experience so far.

For a company that says they have 24/7 support they have to be the worst I have ever encounted.
I bought a buggy for my son for Christmas. I purchased the start of December. It came with no steering wheel. I have been trying to contact them on every avenue for 6 weeks with no response. I will be going to the ombudsman

I ordered the newly improved apparently hoverboard at end of August received it in September for my granddaughter for her Christmas present but on Christmas Day after charging it Christmas Eve all it done was continuously beep straight from operation so as I’ve purchased the older boards previously I know this is faulty!
Sent them an email included video footage got a reply asking for video proof! Answered saying already provided but here I’ve added it again for your reference! Got someone else telling me they are here to help what’s my issue! Resent my email and video evidence and then in reply had someone else telling me they are here to help what’s my issue!!
Getting absolutely nowhere, contacted PayPal but because I purchased over 30 days ago apparently not even they could help! I am so frustrated that a company like this can still be operating with so many complaints and issues with products! Please don’t be fooled as I said I have purchased many items from this company prior but after the way they have not been true to their warranty claims I will never purchase again and will do everything everywhere to tante their name!

I wish I could leave 0 stars honestly. I ordered 17th Dec expecting delivery by 24th December. 24th December I had a notification from Aus post that the parcel had been returned to sender due to an incorrect address on the label. I did the same as everyone else has, called, Facebook message, instant chat message on the website, email, and the same story, I could not get through. The website says they will respond in 12-24 hours. I gave them the benefit of the doubt due to it being Christmas but I still checked my emails daily, multiple times a day even. I noticed a few days later that the Facebook account had been deleted which then sent me into a panic, so I sought advice and was told this company is not following ACCC rules with their terms and conditions. On 29th December aus post tracking showed the parcel had been received back to the sender. I sent a final email 30/12/2025 asking for a reply within 5 days or I will be contacting my bank. I had no response so I opened a case with my bank, sent the evidence I had which was screenshots of my purchase, screen shots of the times I’ve tried to contact them including the phone calls I made, all the messages emails and the aus post tracking. Within about 8 days I had my money refunded by the bank. My next step is to report this company to the ACCC in hopes this company will be shut down. It’s a scam and they are fraudulent. They make statements on their website that are false such as saying they have 4/5 trustpilot rating which is obviously not true and what makes me sick is they are still advertising all over my social media despite clearly not being able to fulfill orders! I’m just happy I never received a product because reading more reviews I’ve noticed for most people the product is faulty. Do not allow them to keep your money, keep fighting for it because they cannot get away with this!!!

I purchased a Hover board for my son. He had 15 minutes on it and it now no longer works. Can't get it to turn on. Have attempted to email, phone and contacted support through live chat for over 2 weeks and have had NO reply or success in even gaining contact with anyone but a chatbot. This company appears to be registered as an import company (JT International Group PTY LTD, Trading as Hoveroo). The JT International Group ABN is registered to trade/import tobacco.
