Honestly it's just a terrible app and the functionality is just weak. The remote barely ever works, the tripod is flimsy, the app is clunky and very user unfriendly to use. I keep trying to use this and it's just a waste of time everytime.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Refused to Exchange incompatible MIC-01 with lightening port, for correct USB-C
I had an awful experience with Hohem Technologies after purchasing their iSteady M6 Gimbal Kit, which included the MIC-01 lavalier mic. The mic arrived with an incompatible lightning port that doesn't connect to my iPhone 16 Pro. I specifically selected the USB-C option, but somehow my order reflected otherwise.
When I contacted customer support, I was shocked to be blamed for the mistake. The representative, Kate, had the audacity to suggest I buy an attachment from Amazon to fix their error! A lightning port mic simply cannot work with a USB-C phone, and a tech company should definitely know this.
All I wanted was a simple exchange since I’m within the 7-day return window and the product is unused. Instead, I was told to return it to their California warehouse and would only get partial credit because I was returning it for “personal reasons.” What kind of nonsense is that? This is not my fault!
I've sent two emails since this horrible interaction, and guess what? No response! It's infuriating to be ignored after such a frustrating experience. If you're thinking about buying from Hohem Technologies, think again. Their customer service is a joke, and they clearly don’t care about their customers. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere!

Product doesn't support g85. Sent it back but without a tracking number. Now I don't have the gimbal or money back.. when contacted hohem says nothing they can do. What a scam from the start. Hohem support is terrible

I bought the isteady Mobile plus 2 years ago and used it for 2 projects successfully. Just recently i brought it out to use and the device refused to turn on, even though i left to charge and was charged fully, however when unpluged the power goes off. I contacted hohem cs and was told that my warranty is expired and theres nothing they could do. So becarefull when buying this product, there are no fix for any issues, especially if no warranty.

I ordered a kit with a remote, and they did not ship the remote. Contacted customer service several times and they do not respond.

Learn to read and dump FedEx for delivery
They need to dump FedEx for delivery. I ordered two M-6 Gimbles. First took 8 days to get here and then FedEx lied about not being able to deliver it. The second I paid extra for express and it's been 10 days and still no delivery. The Hohem warehouse needs to read the order correctly, and they need to stop letting FedEx make them look incompetent.
Don’t give f@ck kind Coustomer service
The worse Coustomer service I bought isteady MT2 comes with free gift bag or extension pole called them at least 5 times told them i need extension pole instead of bag but they didn’t give sh!7 Told me to send everything back. And I also got charged 3%currency exchange rates cuz they are located in china.

Can’t comment on the product as it was stolen because the courier left it in an unsafe place. Upon contacting Hohem they seemed accommodating and eventually offered a full refund, however… after thanking them for the confirming their refund they then went back on their word and offered a partial refund. This, I felt, was unfair as I’d given them everything they needed to claim their money back from the courier (filled out forms, informed the police, etc.) so I asked them to stay true to their offer. Their customer service then became more erratic and they never issued me any kind of refund. They took my money and then claimed a refund from the courier. Would therefore recommend staying well away from this company.
Hohem can’t test a simple power lead 😡😡😡😡
After the bad experience I had waiting for this gimbal to arrive and the review I left on here I was contacted by a fellow user telling me to contact Hohem and they will send one out and also a representative of Hohem got in touch telling me to contact them for a lead.
Well I have contacted them twice now once by email and once on their phone line. The response to the email was a flat no and the phone guy told me he had to send it to the management team whatever that is. They are using a really feeble excuse for not including such an essential lead. They want me to believe that they haven’t tested this lead with the iPhone. This is pure garbage. I have a usb to lightning cable but it is three metres long, but for the purposes of testing it tookn2 seconds to plug it in and observe the NT2 charging the iPhone immediately. I left it on the gimbal for long enough to charge the phone from 15% to 73% with no I’ll effects to the phone or the gimbal. Now they want me to believe that their research and development department can design amazing gimbals and yet can’t test if a lead will charge an iPhone Garbage. They obviously think it’s ok to treat their customers as stupid. And to make matters worse the show the NT2 on their publicity.

I bought a Hohem iSteady Pro4 gimbal which was faulty and would not power on. The company expects me to send the item back at my expense to have it repaired. Horrible experience threw it in the bin. Waste of money for cheap rubbish, and rubbish customer service and not worth the money. Never buy Hohem.

Pessima esperienza. Pacco mai ricevuto. Hohem mi rimpalla sul corriere dpd, che rifiuta ogni colpa. Non ho scelto io il corriere, il corriere ha disatteso la modalità di consegna, ho speso soldi, non ho ricevuto il pacco. Consiglio di non acquistare dal sito ufficiale hohem

I lost the top cover of the i-steady gimbal. Contacted customer service. Smooth contact, helpful, friendly. Within a few weeks they had it send to me as replacement with no charge (only shipping). I’m very happy.
