The Templar Tunic looks as nice as the robes our priest wears. This is a nicely made garment with all the detail you could want. The shipment arrived on time and the price was right. Thank you.

The only thing I would have liked as a first time buyer would be better photos of the items, and size descriptions. I'm a bigger guy and I always worry about the way things are going to fit. Other than that everything was outstanding.

I ordered the Mary Janes for $15.00 to wear to the RenFaire. I was pleasantly surprised when they came to find that they are brocade! You can't tell that in the online photo. They are well-padded for the trek around the Ohio RenFest site, were true to size, completely comfortable and looked great with my Rennie dress. Can't wait to wear them again!

I wish I could say something positive about my first and last experience with Historical Clothing Review. I ordered 3 items...later found out 2 items out of stock. I was trying to be reasonable, I simply asked that they send the only item in stock to me. The next day they emailed me that the remaining item I ordered was out of stock too. Disappointing...I can't ever take the chance of doing business with them because it is too risky if you need Historical Clothing for an event.

I have ordered about $700 worth of products from Historical Clothing Realm and I plan to order about $500 more. Everything has been excellent quality and authentic. I did encounter one minor mix-up in one of my orders, but HCR contacted me immediately and the product was at my door in two days.

I looked extensively for a good price for a well made shirt. I found it at Historical Clothing. I would certainly buy from them again.

I placed my order, and within a day they emailed me the color I had ordered was out of stock. I could either cancel my order or switch the color. I switched the color, and everything came sooner than expected.

I have ordered three items from Historical Clothing Realm: Hospitaller Cloak, Hospitaller Surcoat, and Chainmail Armor Shirt. So far, I received the chainmail shirt and the surcoat.

I looked at many different websites for Renaissance and Medieval clothing, so by the time I was ready to place an order, I had quite a few places to compare this seller with. I chose Historical Clothing Realm for great selection of costumes, well designed website, and discount offers.

The quality of the garments received is very good, they are exactly what the website advertises; customer service communication is great, shipping charges are reasonable, and the shipping is quick.

Communication: timely, pleasant, and courteous.
I have placed an order on Saturday late afternoon, and on Monday I already had an email from customer service informing me that the cloak was on back order: they wanted to know if I still wanted my cloak shipped once available, and if I wanted the other two items shipped along with it later, or now. Once I replied to the email, I received a confirmation that the remaining items will be shipped.

Fast shipping on items in stock. I received chainmail shirt and hospitaller surcoat within that same week.
Waiting for the cloak now..

I ordered a historical dress for my granddaughter's 18th birthday. Part of the dress item turned out to be out of stock, but they notified me right away via email. I call them back and requested a different color, and the item shipped right away. They were friendly helpful and honest.

HCR is awesome! Goin to be dressing as a pirate to the PA Renn Faire for the first time and was excited to order boot and a hat, and was even more excited when I got them in the mail. Took less than a week to receive them in the mail. I will definitely be buying from HRC aga in for all my pirate needs!

I wanted something to wear to the Renaissance Festival, nothing gaudy, and Historical Clothing was the perfect place to look! I found just what I was looking for. My pirate costume is well made, fits like it was made just for me and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend looking here first! I did have a return, because I ordered a piece I didn't need. They even made that easy. I will order from them again and tell all my friends about this wonderful company.

We ordered the child's Renaissance shirt and harem pants.
They each cost upwards of $30. The material was a cheap scratchy
thin fabric. The shirt said "small" but it's huge and fits an adult.
Perhaps they put it in the wrong package by accident? And they charged us $26 to ship two small light items by ground in the US.

Waiting to hear back on how it will be rectified :)

I would recommend this store to anyone looking for replicas or costumes.

Ordered the Fleur de Lis overdress in burgundy and gold and loved it! The quality of the custume and the make is exceptional. This is a costume worthy of stage performance and outstanding historical context.

Highly recommend this company and the clearly hand crafted period clothing they produce. The fit was as expected and the lace up fitting which was customary before tailoring does the trick to make fitting perfection.

I ordered a hat and boots on Wednesday night expecting to have to wait for 5+ days. The items were delivered Friday morning. Awesome response and very fast service.

As always your service is without question and our items arrive quickly. We do have to return our last 2 items, due to size. The bandanna had a return in it, but the belt did not. Neither item would fit our Renaissance man.
