I found exactly what I needed really fast. There was a diagram of the hinge with all of the hole measurements, which was really important, since they are replacement hinges.

They do not communicate with you

They do not communicate with you. I've called 3 times to get a status of my order that's over 17 days old. Annette reached out, hopefully we get the correct stuff coming.

Jeff, we’re sorry to hear about your experience. We have a dedicated U.S.-based customer service team, and we make every effort to notify customers of any unexpected delays and respond promptly to messages. It’s possible that some of our email updates may have been filtered into a spam or junk folder.

We also experienced significant tornado damage in our area about three weeks ago, which left our operations without power and internet service for approximately seven business days. While this was an unusual situation outside of our control, we understand how frustrating a lack of communication or an order delay can be.

It does appear that Annette is now working with you directly, and we appreciate the opportunity to make things right. We hope to have everything resolved for you as quickly as possible, and we appreciate your patience and understanding.

Don, thank you for your feedback. It sounds like there may have been some confusion regarding the installation of this product. The item you ordered is a hinge pin door stop, rather than a hinge. To install it, the existing hinge pin is removed, the door stop is positioned on the hinge, and the hinge pin is then reinserted to secure it in place.

We are a family-owned business and take pride in helping our customers with product questions and installation whenever needed. Our team is always happy to walk you through the process or help troubleshoot an issue.

Please feel free to contact us at help@hingeoutlet.com or **888-250-8133**. We would have appreciated the opportunity to assist you with the installation and resolve the issue before it resulted in a negative experience. We’re still happy to help and hope we can get this resolved for you.

I very specifically asked to see 4-inch hinge pins. You showed me dozens of items I don't care about. Had to wade through all of them to find what I wanted. Professionals don't have rime to waste on this kind of nonsense.

We apologize for any inconvenience. We typically will send you a selection and we do have many filters on the left hand side which filter by size specifically. Not sure where we went wrong here, but we do appreciate your business.

Ordered reverse zig zag hinge

Ordered reverse zig zag hinge. Only reverse on one side. Asked for help and AI was completely wrong. Their human was not much better. Weak customer service.

John, thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry the hinges you ordered were not the right fit for your application.

We make every effort to provide detailed product information on HingeOutlet.com, including photos showing the exact hole pattern, dimensions, specifications, and other details to help customers select the correct hinge before ordering. Based on what you described, it appears the hinges ordered did not match the hole pattern you needed, and they were returned to us for a refund.

We also want to clarify that while we do use AI to help provide faster service, we have a real customer service team based in Indiana that is available to assist with product questions and order issues. We’re a family-owned business, and we’re proud of our team and the effort they put into helping our customers every day.

We understand that hinge selection can sometimes be confusing, especially with the many different sizes, hole patterns, finishes, and configurations available. That’s why we provide as much information as possible online and encourage customers to contact us whenever they’re unsure whether a particular hinge will work for their application.

We’re sorry we weren’t able to provide the experience you expected, and we appreciate your feedback.
