Great customer service, Alan was very kind and helpful over the phone. Helped us to turn around an EICR same day. Be aware however that if your home is build after 2017 likely you'll have type ac rcds which will be flagged as unsatisfactory. Hexco replaced ours for type a rcds in order to pass eicr certificate.

Made the initial visit quickly. Hexo carried out all work efficiently. The remedial work was more expensive than I hoped but perhaps that is the standard rate. The booking process was easy and efficient.

Worth noting for all properties built before 2017 that haven't had the newer Type A RCDs installed, this will result in unsatifactory EICR so you will need this resolved before getting a satisfactory EICR

I found Hexo from google to do my electrical certificate, they are professional, engineering arrived on time, polite, carrying professional service, provided professional advice for me, competitive price, Happy customer.

I contacted HEXO Electrical to arrange an EICR. The staff, ( Sujan / Zach ), were more than accommodating.

The whole schedule of the EICR was smooth from start to finish. The reports were generated and once the remedials were taken care of, I was presented with an up to date report / certificate.

I will recommend HEXO Electrical and I shall definitely use them as my preferred electrical contractors moving forward.

I needed an EICR on a rental property. The headline cost is cheap. IMO this is to reel you in. The men arrived after 8.00 in the evening which is too late. Stayed under 10 minutes. Took photos. How could they assess the safety of the circuits in this time? Sent me an estimate for C2 faults that needed doing-£950! Unhappy with this, I asked 2 other electricians to do an EICR on the property. One basic cheap fault found. Landlords beware!!

Best service l have used them for all my buy to let properties. They don’t rip you of with a call out charge. They go do the work and the day if it’s possible or come back and finish the job. Excellent service Iv used them all the time l highly recommend them.

Several thousand pounds worth of work was identified - despite the technician saying that there were no problems as he left.

As the flat is quite new, I asked another - very reputable - company to do another inspection.
They could not replicate the faults found by Hexo but did find two minor issues which Hexo missed.

Although getting an appointment date was a little challenging at first, as the initial appointment had to be rescheduled, they still managed to complete everything and get my certificate to me in time. They were also quick to arrange a follow-up appointment for the issues that were identified. Overall, I’m happy with the service and would recommend them.

When I needed an EICR, I looked up the company on Google to do it for me. I chose to do this with the Hexo company.
The booking process was simple.
I was able to choose a date and time that suited me perfectly. Hexo also contacted my tenant directly and handled all arrangements on my behalf.
And it was arranged with my tenants, so I had no stress. The remedial works were arranged quickly

They did 2 EICRs for us. One went well, no problems. The other contained an item on the report that stated it would be a fail - a C2 - but actually it wasnt. It would have been pretty expensive to have this remediated and caused quite a lot of confusion. In the end we paid to have a separate company do the EICR which, correctly, did not flag the C2 (though there were other less expensive thing to remediate). I did ask to get the cost of the original EICR for this property refunded but its not something they were willing to do.

Difficult to deal with post inspection.
I booked by telephone, the engineer turned up on time to conduct an EICR on our rental property. There were several faults established, a couple were pretty vague in desription so I tried to contact the company by telephone twice, no reply after 10 mins waiting, then emailed and received a couple of emails back that simply did not address my questions. I ended up paying a local electrician slightly more to correct the faults purely because I could actually talk to them.

I urgently needed an EICR survey to finalise a house sale. Hexo were extremely helpful in sending an electrician at short notice and quickly established what remedial work was required. The work was completed by a professional and helpful electrician within a few days and passed inspection to issue a new EICR.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Hexo.
