Ordered £106 (Order number 700896952) of goods on the 24/8/25 received nothing
Customer service does not reply although I have contacted them three times, unable to track progress of order as it shows the same status since ordering
I have not received anything no plants no refund no communication I have just been scammed
I wish I had read all the reviews

We received our bare root magnolias in a prompt manner, BUT ! it was very apparent once removing the plastic packaging wrapped around the root ball it was apparent there were little or no roots. The roots had been so drastically pruned I will be amazed if any of them survive.
I have e mailed gardening express and explained it should not be my responsibility to repackage the shrubs as I had to cut open the packaging as the shrubs were rammed in and the packaging discarded.
I have sent photos to G.D. why on earth do they want them back, surely repackaging and postage at my expense is unacceptable.
Most of all why are substandard products being sent out to customers and not being checked by quality control.
Unfortunately I have no faith in G.D. and will never be ordering from them.
I replied to their request to repackage the shrubs but surprisingly haven’t heard back from them.

It says orders are despatched in 3 to 5 working days. Its been 6 working days and ive still no idea if its been despatched. Visit your account it says, i have, several times. Still no idea. There is an online chat that says ' back soon ' its said that since 25th August. Ive completed the online form, and still nothing. I go away in a few days and dont want them delivered then, but theres no one to help you.

Took two weeks to arrive only to receive what appears to be a dead twig not the fruit bush described

Non existent customer service. Paid over £45 order number # 700673938 for a 3 trees, which 2 were dying on arrival.

No replies from C S after numerous emails. They cannot be reached by telephone quite deliberately.

The biggest lie is 5 years guarantee.

They never refund me.

They are a rubbish dodgy company and obviously capable of fraud.

Never received my goods despite paying for them and waiting weeks for any information.

Most emails are ignored or replies take a very long time to get.

Never again. I should have checked the reviews here first. Do not buy from them.

Would never use this company again. Purchased plants which took 2.5 weeks to turn up. When they did they arrived in battered packaging totally insufficient to protect anything. As a result they were damaged and one, not even alive. Have since contacted customer service twice and still no response. Wish I’d read the reviews first!

Poor customer service. I ordered six superb fruit trees but received six dead twigs. No signs of life. I contacted the help desk. Customer service initially answered asking me to send photos and do a bark test. This I did to show that the twigs were dead. No response from the company for several weeks although I emailed them several times. Finally responded to say the trees were not under any sort of guarantee and they have not answered any further emails. No chargeback possible as the credit card company consider the tress to be perishable goods. Dreadful response from a cowboy company. Do not buy for them.

The company do not respond to complaints. Ask for a replacement of a dead or dying plant, you are supposed to send it back at your cost (expensive as quite heavy) photographs just ignored. Do not use this company they are incompetent, rude and just greedy, supplying inferior plants.

Plants in very good condition, well packed and great value.....Glad I found gardening express!

Never ever again. Totally dissatisfied with the condition of my order, when they finally arrived, from the time they were ordered to date. Contacted customer service saying I want a refund or replacements. Not heard from them since!
If I could given no stars, I would. I do not recommend!!

I placed quite a large order for my new garden. It took weeks and weeks to come. The plants I ordered were all in satisfactory condition and grew well, but I also ordered 5 fruit trees. These all arrived very dead looking with no buds (it was June by this point). I emailed and was told this was normal and they would be fine. I emailed 6 weeks after establishing them to say there were no signs of life and again 3 months later. I have had absolutely no response to either email. I won’t purchase from them again, it’s just throwing money away.

Ordered Cornus Midwinter Fire - Winter Beauty Dogwood - Pack of Three from Gardening express, the box arrived looking like it had gone 3 rounds with a heavy weight boxer! the story didnt get any better when i opened the box, the plants were damaged and in a terrible condition, the leaves were yellow with big brown spots over them and looked nothing like the advertised product. Ive emailed Gardening express twice but have had no response, the quality of the plants matches the quality of the customer services, pretty poor all round.

Never again. I would usually check reviews before ordering but unfortunately i did not on this occasion.
24 Lavender plants ordered £36 + £6.99 delivery. My order left 30/7 for delivery Fri 1st Aug which did not arrive until late Mon 4th Aug. Very dry & all out of pots. Immediately soaked in water for 2/3 hours,planted & soaked daily. After 2 weeks 10 are showing a little life & 14 are now dead. No telephone contact available & contact e-mails not answered other than a generic response. I have tried to reclaim the money back from my Mastercard but have been told perishable goods do not apply-sadly.

Don’t use. Still missing part of my order and half the plants ordered were dead or half dead. Customer service non existent as they haven’t answered any of my many complaints. AVOID

Recently purchased 10 conifers for delivery and only received 6.
After several emails waiting for a response it became clear they were not going to reply.
Avoid this company all they want is your money without providing a service
