I can’t recommend Held Health highly…

I can’t recommend Held Health highly enough for help with my sons recent ASD diagnoses. Every interaction I’ve had with them has been brilliant. From the initial email through to the feedback appointment, the communication has been prompt, professional and incredibly supportive.

The whole process was well organised, and I always felt listened to and kept informed. Everything was completed quickly, and any questions I had were answered with kindness and understanding.

We started the RTC pathway in January and received diagnoses by July. Our initial face to face was the day before my sons first day of school in September and HeldHeath were able to have it moved to June!

Thank you to everyone at Held Health for making what could have been a daunting process feel so straightforward and supportive.

Very disappointing

Very disappointing, online forms, a test and 25 min chat with me, then 20 mins with my daughter and gave her a diagnosis same time, do not feel like my daughter got full proper diagnosis compared to my eldest who was diagnosed a week before with a different company, lack of compassion, care and disinterest, very unprofessional. would not recommend.

Excellent assessment by one of their…

Excellent assessment by one of their Doctors who diagnosed my son. This is the second time I’ve used HH and although it can be challenging communicating with them , once appointments are through, the service from there on is very good. I am awaiting my son’s report, after being assessed Tuesday, it will be through by the end of the weekend, so quick to get your reports. We are now being referred for both my children for ASD assessments after it was recommended and I’ve been happy with the service I’ve received. I’ve already recommended to others

ADHD right to choose

ADHD right to choose was a relatively fast service, was very pleased with both the assessment and medication appointments. Medication was particularly fast! Only negative would be the communication throughout the whole process as couldn’t check whether all forms had been received. Overall a great experience though and would highly recommend!

Exceptional service

Our experience with Held Health throughout our daughter’s ADHD assessment and diagnosis has been exceptional. From the very beginning, the team was kind, professional, and incredibly supportive, making what could have been a stressful process feel straightforward and reassuring.

The clinicians took the time to really understand her and listened carefully to our concerns. We never felt rushed, and every stage of the assessment was explained clearly. Their compassionate and thorough approach made us feel confident that our child was being seen and understood as an individual, which we had had concerns about due to her masking heavily.

Receiving the diagnosis has given us a much better understanding of our child’s needs and has been an important step towards getting the right support as she transitions to secondary school. I feel extremely let down

I feel extremely let down. I first referred my daughter to them through her GP in the end of January 2026 for ADHD pathway. I heard from Held Health pretty quickly in the start of February (16th to be exact) with the registration forms, questionnaires, school forms and feedback forms and myself and the school filled them out and sent them back within a week. It’s now 7th July 2026 and I have received no communication, whether or not Held Health has received them. I have tried emailing (several times) and calling but with no luck. I understand there is a back log of referrals but as you can imagine I am extremely worried and feel let down.

4 stars as felt communication early on was lacking. After submitting forms, there was no confirmation to explain all had been received and what next step was.
However communication once assessments dates were offered was fantastic. Written feedback arrived back sooner than the timeframe we were given.

Brilliant experience with Dr Kym Hildyard

Held Health were excellent from start to finish. The whole process was smooth, clear, and well communicated, with regular updates on progress and next steps.

Our final assessment with Dr Kym Hildyard was the highlight. She was flawless — warm, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and instantly put us all at ease. She was especially fantastic with our son, helping him understand the process and what it means for him in such a kind and reassuring way.

Poor communication

As previously addressed by other clients. We have found communication to be extremely poor. Our daughter’s referral was made on the 14th January 2026, all forms were completed by parents, school, and my daughter quickly. I emailed for confirmation that she was on the list. Got a reply in April asking about email addresses and forms. I replied requesting to know if they had received the completed forms as we have done them all. I have had no reply since April. I have emailed again today. Hoping that we will hear something soon. We are approaching the 28 week time frame stated on the website. I just hope we have the positive experience of assessment as those rating 5* because so far this has not been our experience.

Both clinicians were lovely and took their time. Didn’t mind that my son couldn’t stay still and wasn’t listening for half of the appointment 😂 we got the adhd diagnosis. I got the report the same day a few hours later!
