Luckily I got hat during promo good price but hats came in no hat liner so it was smushed together had to purchase those separately made hats look deformed

I made a mistake of ordering the wrong…
I made a mistake of ordering the wrong size hat. I immediately emailed customer service to notify them about the issue (since there isn’t a cancel option in the dashboard). Obviously, I asked if I could swap the size of that hat (both sizes were in stock). They said there was no way they could possibly do that. (Seems like a simple ask, but apparently they can’t do that.)
Then, they said, we can cancel the order. Seems like an ok plan - but apparently they were still processing / shipping / fulfilling the order in the meantime. (remember, I immediately told them about the issue AND they acknowledged the issue)… since my reply came after they had sent it off for shipping, there was (again) nothing they could do on their end to fix the issue. What I could do is pay $6.99 to return the order to them.
They have a great selection of hats, and very fair sales, but do you think I’d ever order from them again after this customer experience???
I’ll never understand why businesses fail to value customer service… especially a smaller, independent company. That’s now several transactions per financial quarter that they’ll need to replace. Customer service goes a long way… I guess some companies feel it’s necessary to learn that the hard way.
I can recommend them on hat quality and selection, but I cannot endorse them on this sad interpretation of customer service.
