I love the UX of the site but having purchased my first item, I've just had notification that it left the UK nearly 4 weeks post purchase.

Horrible, please avoid this company and go with Vestiaire instead. I paid for my dior items over a month ago, send many emails asking for help. I got no answer. No, after two months after my purchase I got an email they send the items.I no longer live in the same country. I am so mad, no communication, no answer. Please DO NOT USE this website! I purchased something 2 weeks ago and despite the terms and conditions stating items will be dispatched within 72 hours I haven't had a dispatch notice and there's no way of getting an update. Maddening as I bought the item for an event that's now taken place. Their telephone directs you to a WhatsApp chat that is answered by a bot (and does nothing), and their online messaging service via the website goes unanswered (I've tried five times and not a single response!). The accounts team finally answered me when I contacted them via their payments email but they haven't provided an update either. DO NOT GET SUCKED IN by the shiny website and lovely stock - this platform is not safe and needs to be avoided at all costs.

I wish if I could give less than 1 star . I read the reviews before dealing with them and every review is right about this company . No decent communication and they keep changing prices . Someone gives you a word and agreement then after that someone else gives you a different more expensive deal . After 2 days trying to communicate with a trusted someone , I was told that the items I liked and ready to buy were sold . That was a waste of time and please don’t waste your time with this company .
FRAUD!!! AVOID!!! Awful customer service.
Awful customer service. Purchased an item worth nearly £5,000. It’s been nearly a month, item hasn’t shipped, no communication from seller and 4 requests for a refund and still no communication from HEWI customer service. This is an absolute joke. At this rate I will have to claim for interest for withholding my money! Avoid HEWI especially for high value items. A refund shouldn’t be this complicated.

This company has serious payment issues, and compounded with their appalling customer service. I returned an item and they did not bother to pick up from customs, held onto my money for four months. Wrote to CEO, who does not even have common courtesy to reply with an answer/explanation

I have sold an item from hardlyeverwornit, but I didn’t receive my payment . And I send email, chat by WhatsApp, no response. I have tried to call them but no one answers phone. So I think they may have problems or financial issue. Don’t sell your item from them as they never pay.
HEWI keeps money for items they sell and not willing to pay out
I must say that this on line platform has the worst customer services and finance department. Trying to get them pay for my two items sold is taking me now for 4 months. Each time if I manage to speak to customer services they tell that I would get paid in 24hrs as they escalated the request. Nothing happens. I e-mailed their finance department and was not even replied.
It’s time now for me to escalate to small claims court or TSA as I cannot get my money from this organisation.

Seller beware! Sold an item a month ago and still not been paid. They are scamming seller.. avoid!
It said that
It said that my order would be shipped within two days. That was on Saturday. I wanted to receive it before I left on holiday a week later. I called on Wednesday but unfortunately it still hadn’t been despatched so I couldn’t have it to take with me.

Purchased an item on 7th April 2025 Have never received it. I have reached out 3 times via their website + instagram messenger. No one has responded, still no items and no update. Will have to contact my credit card company with fraud as they have taken my money and never delivered/ updated me on what is happening with my item.
