Trustworthy platform with great service
Purchased twice now from HEWI On both occasions very happy… one was a Chanel handbag exactly as presented immaculate condition and well priced and more recently a Chanel dress which again great product but unfortunately not a good fit on me, so had to return it. Return and refund promptly received. Great platform to purchase from.

Never used this website before. But it was brilliant from contact with the seller to the item arriving. Very impressed.
NOT PAID FOR A YEAR. They owe me £3K!
This company owes me £3K for items I've sold (one of which was a year ago!) They are extremely slow to pay out. They promise they will via email and never do. They took a year for other items I've sold in the past. They're stealing money from people. I mentioned this to a new buyer who had bought something from me and they edited my message to remove the part about them owing me £3K!

Sell elsewhere in my opinion
I wouldn’t sell via these guys. It took me over 6 weeks of chasing for my payment after the buyer received the item. They kept telling me I would be paid within 48hrs and I had to chase 4x for the payment.
No apology m, even though I asked for who I could send a complaint too, only to be told someone from the team would contact me… that was a week ago.
They still took their commission though !!! Hmmm do you think they want to earn interest on the money they hold before paying out? Seems that way to me….
Very poor service - hefty commission and no apology- sell elsewhere in my opinion.

Withholding payment over a year later
I have not one but THREE payments outstanding from HEWI on items I have shipped and buyers have received. I contacted customer service who told me to contact their payments team, who I have THREE times over email and I have not had one response back. I now have further items that have been sold but I am not shipping until this is resolved. Incredibly poor customer service!!

Beware: Counterfeit Items
I purchased my first product from HEWI - whilst the seller was pleasant and delivered on time (it was for an occasion), unfortunately after inspection from myself and the brand store they confirmed that the item was counterfeit. It was quite obvious from the breakage, the label and the colour/structure being very different and not to standard.
I informed HEWI to please get involved just as 1) they should be approving authenticated items 2) the seller might be innocent and not have known since they purchased from another preloved site (The Real Real, which has been known to not authenticate properly)
Which puts me in a hard position since the real real purchase is the only ‘proof’ the seller has. I asked HEWI to get involved since I don’t want to cause distress with the seller and would rather they sort this out professionally.
Unfortunately no response and they’ve ignored my messages.

Warning: Do not use this website! It’s a scam. I sold an item, and it was successfully delivered to the buyer, yet after almost a month, I still haven’t received my payment. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, they continue to delay. I have had to involve a lawyer, and now we are taking the case to the police. It seems they are hoping sellers will simply give up on their payments. Avoid this platform at all costs!

Useless
I ordered and paid for a belt 10 days ago. This has yet to be despatched. Almost impossible to contact the company although I have messaged them a number of time chasing my order. I wonder if I will ever receive it - I am not hopeful and it would be a very expensive mistake.

Poor delivery experience
I am currently caught between HEWI, the seller and the delivery company Fed Ex. Fed Ex indicate that the parcel has been delivered however I haven't received it. At the moment I'm waiting to see who will take responsibility and whether this can be resolved but until that happens unfortunately I can only rate the site as 1 star

Poor customer service and infrastructure
Limited stock, that’s nonetheless good quality and genuine in my experience, but sadly really let down by poor infrastructure when things don’t go quite right. I had a Chloé “dress” delivered that I felt wasn’t as described (was badly pulled and not a dress), but was unable to say anything because on my account it never registered as having arrived so the button never showed to raise an issue, but the money had left my account. I wrote to customer service and was straight away offered an immediate refund by email. I was never told that they wouldn’t pay for a return label nor that there was a deadline to return the item or that my issue was not one they considered worthy of a returns label to be sent. I asked three times over a period of 2 months for a shipping label but got nothing in response. Then eventually, 2 months later I got an email saying that it was too late to get a refund as it had been so long, so I was stuck with the item. They blamed me for not sending it in time and when I responded asking where it said there was a deadline I was yet again ignored.
In another instance, without asking, I was refunded for a Valentino bag that did in fact arrive. I sent it back but the seller could well have lost out if I’d been less honest about it.
Total mess. Not a luxury experience.

NOT PAID FOR SALES SINCE NOVEMBER 2024
HEWI, I write you here because I do not know where to get help. I require to pay me more than 1700GBP for my sales since November. All the items are delivered to the customers. The time has passed, no returns, clients are happy. I am writing emails, calling everyday. You say it will be paid today - it is still not paid until today! I need that money, this is not 50GBP so I can say whatever! I have my family to feed! I am very dissapointed and I will now take legal actions against this horrific company.
