I wish I’d seen these reviews before ordering. Paid for delivery.. 2 weeks later I received a notification that it’s been delivered however the person hasn’t received it. I’ve emailed the company but I am yet to hear back
Edit: the parcel has finally been delivered. It was quite late but it’s lovely and the recipient is very pleased with it so I’ve amended my review

Ordered a gift for my wife for our anniversary for a specific date. Never arrived. Emailed them, finally got a response saying a stock issue. I said id wait. Tried emailing them 3 more times, still not received anything. Had to claim a refund from PayPal, thankfully PayPal are great and have issued it without any issue. Hamperwell is awful and shouldn't be allowed to sell.

Hands down the worst company I've ever experienced. Ordered a flower bouquet for my wife and paid extra for a specific delivery date. It of course didn't arrive on the delivery day so I chased them up via email, got a reply a week later saying they didn't have it in stock due to a supplier issue. I took the option of an alternative bouquet with a partial refund - 2 weeks later I still haven't received the alternative bouquet and the partial refund. I have chased up via email several times to no response.

I ordered a hamper for a birthday using the next day delivery option, received a confirmation email, but haven’t received anything since, no tracking info, no response to my emails, no package… they’re quick to take my money but none existent when it comes to sending the actual package.

These guys have possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Ordered a hamper as a gift for a birthday and never received it. Ordered it with plenty of time before the birthday and used the next day delivery option. The hamper never arrived and I had to go through my bank to recall the money I spent which they thankfully done.
I had no updates on my order and couldn’t get through to anyone to inquire about it. After a week of nothing I received a email saying my order had been delayed for 3 weeks due to so called ‘stock issues’ this would not be acceptable as the birthday falls before this.
I then requested a refund which still after 6 days I have heard nothing despite multiple chasers. Which as I said left me no choice but to turn to my bank who refunded the transaction.
Avoid at all costs and do not waste your time and money!

Ordered a cheese and port hamper for my Dad’s birthday. He lives 150 miles away. Ordered 2 weeks in advance. Arrived on specified date and my Dad said there was a good variety of cheese, great quality and delicious.

Tried to contact them for a refund and they emailed me to say i need to return it to the address below. There was no address given so i have emailed them since and got no reply.
Also it says login to your account and follow the refund policy link, there is no option to do so.
Very disappointed, bad experience, and would advise all to avoid.

Ordered a hamper month in advanced didn't even come fair enough not their fault but royal mail anyways I contacted them since royalmail couldn't find my house for some reason they decided to send it back to hamperwell so I asked for refund which hamperwell refused to give and blamed me and said they need to receive the item before they refund I have not even seen the item at all not even touched it how did this became my responsibility when it was hamperwells to begin with, customer service is shocking don't order guys not worth it not worth the headache

The contents of this hamper was exactly as I had hoped. Despite it being delivered on one of the hottest days of the year, the chocolates were in perfect condition which pleasantly surprised me. Would I use again? Absolutely!

Terrible from start to finish
Terrible from start to finish. My teenage son spent £47.94 of his weekend job money on some chocolates for his girlfriend. He then changed his mind due to the cost and within a few hours I requested a cancellation to which they refused unless he paid a 10% re-stocking fee and postage would also be non-refundable - even though they admitted it had not yet been dispatched and was on the lorry awaiting collection. He also paid for 48 hour delivery, however the chocolates did not turn up on time. I emailed asking for a delivery date and was told vaguely and bluntly that they would arrive 'shortly'. Our email interactions with the company had the air of disinterest and lack of professionalism. We gave up trying to deal with them and asked my son's bank to request a refund, which we got.
