Terrible customer service three email's in and still no reply and no parcel. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

I would give zero if I could - wish I had read the reviews before ordering. One month after the requested date the package finally arrived. Presentation is absolutely pants - no effort made with the message card either. Absolutely underwhelming. Don't use these people

Cant add anything that hasn't already been said but wouldn't use them again. Terrible (well complete lack of) customer service. They clearly never look at their emails or just ignore them. Product was poor for the price.

Ordered for a birthday still has arrived over 14 days later. Company haven't replied to any of my messages so escalated this with my bank. AVOID

Never received my hamper. No response to emails. No phone number to call. Have to try get money back from bank. Total scam

The 3kg Hamperwell mix arrived almost two weeks ago, and I must say I am extremely disappointed.

Your advertising clearly shows an elegant black gift bag — which is precisely what we ordered and expected. Instead, the item was delivered in a transparent zip‑lock style pouch, giving the appearance of a budget supermarket product rather than a £50 gift.

This is intended as a present, and we cannot gift it in this condition. Please arrange a replacement in the advertised packaging as soon as possible, and provide a return label for the item delivered today.

Paid for next day delivery, the order arrived 5 days later, the package said it should include two yankee candles, the candles were fake with the name written on paper “Noola”, customer support has not been replying to emails and there is no other way to contact them, horrible service, scam and will never order from them again

Hamperwell publishes reviews purportedly made on JudgeMe. However, Hamperwell does not exist on that review website.
Hamperwell has no phone number, and doesn’t respond to any emails sent to them.
They are the single worst online company I’ve ever encountered, and I advise anyone considering using them, to avoid them like the plague.

I am incredibly disappointed with HamperWell. I ordered a "Get Well Soon" chocolate bouquet (Order #27***) for a little girl recovering from an emergency operation.

Royal Mail falsely claimed a delivery attempt was made, but the family is completely housebound and was home all day. No courier ever arrived, and no "something for you" card was left. It has now been nearly two weeks, and the gift has never arrived.

Worse than the courier issue is HamperWell's complete lack of customer service. I have emailed them multiple times across two different email addresses and filled out their website's "Contact Us" form. I have been completely ignored, not even an automated acknowledgment.

To completely ignore a customer regarding a failed delivery for a sick child is unacceptable. Because they refuse to respond or resolve this, I am now forced to initiate a chargeback with my bank to get my money back. I chose this company based on good reviews, but I strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

Scam - avoid
I ordered a 49 hamper for my sister in law and then a couple of hours later I emailed to request a cancellation as my wife had already sorted something else. Didn’t hear back from Hamperwell and when the parcel arrived a few days later, I refused delivery. The parcel went back to Hamperwell. Then I requested a refund. After several unanswered emails to Hamperwell, I raised an issue with my credit card. Unbelievably, Hamperwell had the gall to claim that I kept the item, refused a return label and provided proof of delivery to my credit card who then applied the charge back to my account. The proof of delivery shows the item actually back to them, so I’ve challenged this again and hoping I get a refund. But several weeks and I’m Still waiting on a refund. Currently 49 out of pocket and nothing to show for it. Worst customer service ever

Ordered a month in advance for a birthday present. Chose delivery day for said birthday. This company FORGOT to send. They didn’t remove u tik the actual birthday and then decided to send the wrong items by 24 hour delivery. The person waited in all day on their birthday for their gift. Then the next day it was left in the doorstep all day to melt.
Don’t use this company they don’t care about their customers. They only care about money

If you’re reading this review, don’t waste your time or money on this company—it’s a complete scam.
Absolutely unacceptable experience. I paid £45 for what turned out to be a box worth less than £10 in products—completely misleading and poor value for money. I specifically ordered next-day delivery for Mother’s Day, yet it didn’t arrive until four days later, which completely defeated the purpose.
To make matters worse, I sent multiple emails to their customer service team and never received a single response. I also tried calling several times, but they never answered the phone. The lack of communication and accountability is incredibly frustrating.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience—overpriced, unreliable, and with nonexistent customer support. I would not recommend this company at all.

Ordered well in advance for mothers day and myine and daughters orser arrived over a week aftermothers day

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Hamperwell.

I placed an order on the 12th of March and paid extra for what was clearly advertised as Royal Mail Tracked 24-hour delivery, with a guaranteed delivery date of the 13th of March. The whole reason I paid for early delivery was because I needed the hamper before Mother’s Day, so it could be given on the Saturday, as she was not going to be here on Sunday. Despite this, the item did not arrive until Sunday the 15th nearly 72 hours later. This completely defeats the purpose of paying for expedited delivery and is frankly unacceptable.

As a result, the gift couldn’t even be given when intended. We were forced to give it on Tuesday when she returned — completely missing the occasion. What was the point?

What makes this even worse is that I took the time to write a thoughtful Mother’s Day message for my daughter to give to her mother, and the card was not included at all. This was a key part of the order and its absence completely ruined the sentiment behind the gift.

This experience shows a complete lack of care, reliability, and attention to detail. When customers are paying for a service especially for special occasions the least you expect is that the company delivers what was promised.

Please be very cautious when ordering from this company. There is clearly a reason their customer satisfaction rating is below 3 stars. In hindsight, I deeply regret not choosing another company at a similar price point. This was a complete waste of money.

I would strongly advise others not to make the same mistake. Furthermore they lie saying they have 4.5 rating on judge me when the company does not exist when you click the liblnk??? AVOID AT all cose

Received a gift from this site for Mother’s Day. Absolutely awful. Do not buy. Charged £45 for £10 worth of stuff. Not Yankee candles, cheap alternative. Soap roses that smell of horrible plastic that I doubt will actually dissolve. Cheap and nasty tasting heart shaped chocolates. Only good thing is the Lindt chocolates.
Husband is gutted. We don’t have a lot of money and we’ve been completely scammed here. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

Ordered a Yankee candle ultimate gift hamper came with 12 fake rose heads 12 little chocolates and 4 non branded candles absolute robbery for 40 pounds could of made one myself 4x the size do not order from this company

I feel I do not need to write a bad review, as there are hundreds of others that have written exactly what I came here to say.

•Only one of the two orders received.
•Four emails sent, over the course of 7 days, and no response.
•The item I did receive did not contain what I had ordered.
•Extortionate price for what you get (or don't, lol).

Overall, this is the worst experience I've had with an online store. Utter disappointment. A disgrace.

Still no response from hamperwell regarding my refund on order number 269943.

Will now be contacting the Ombudsman if still no response.

I strongly advise against ordering from this website. The reviews shown on their site are all 5‑star, which initially reassured me, but it’s now obvious they only publish positive reviews and block customers from submitting their own. There is no option anywhere on their website to leave a review, which prevents honest feedback and misleads new customers.

I ordered the Malteser and Galaxy bouquet specifically because it included Maltesers, yet my order arrived with no Maltesers at all. Several chocolate bars had also fallen off during transit. I emailed the company more than five times and have been completely ignored.

Based on my experience and the similar complaints I’ve now seen from others from offline review portals this company repeatedly sends incorrect or poor‑quality orders, takes customers’ money, and then refuses to respond. I have reported the website to Trading Standards, and I encourage others to do the same so this behaviour can be properly investigated.

Place my order on a Monday and paid for 2 day delivery, package didn't arrive till the following Monday. Sent a couple of emails with no reply. I ordered the lindt and Yankee candle box, the candle are just cheap and not Yankee candles. I will never use again.
