after a problem with one member of staff, Stafford area manager Chris Davies stepped in and totally sorted my lawn single handed. Cannot praise the guy enough, hard working, polite and did what he said he would, cant reccomend him enough.

Tom our regular operative always goes the extra mile to help us out. Always happy to give advice and tips to keep our lawn in great condition even in the unusually hot weather we are having. He’s a credit to GreenThumb and would thoroughly recommend.

Initial contact by phone was good, after laying new turf on my small garden. I was concerned that a perfect looking lawn seemed to have been ripped at first cut due to being so long after the 4 weeks and the roots remaining damp.
A person came said it looked like fungal disease but decided after a WhatsApp share with colleagues that it wasnt. He looked at a spot and said it looked like an animal had died - it was some topsoil for raised beds that had been dropped .. not a dead animal .
Put 2 treatments as per plan and left. Then an hour later a bill was invited for £102 - I got in touch to say I was not made aware of this charge and I would pay but would cease my plan .
Contact was made to say that it was a mistake and the invoice was incorrect and not due at all. I was offered a second opinion by a manager .
I informed them by phone on the days I was available .. and they sent an arranged date for someone to come on one of the two a week that I was not at home working but in the office . I let them come cos wanted an opinion - I left a detailed note with pictures in an envelope on my door- received a time confirmation for the same person who came the first time to come on the day. Not sure what the point of that was. Feel it was a waste of time

David came today to do a mid term weed killer treatment he’d suggested. I was pleased about this as a few small weeds were starting to grow. Since the initial treatments he did my lawn has been transformed. I now have full growth of green healthy grass and I’m delighted. He always gives helpful advice on maintaining the lawn. So pleased I engaged Green Thumb and David.

Contacted three providers — including the GreenThumb gang — to quote for tackling our block‑paved shared courtyard (14 properties!) plus the front drives. After hearing the other providers’ plans, which ranged from “jet‑wash it into oblivion” to “nuke it with chemicals,” GreenThumb’s approach felt like a breath of fresh, non‑toxic air.

Luke 1 arrived, tape measure in hand, like a horticultural superhero — to measure the area.
Straightforward, clear, and no nonsense. The products they use actually 'care' about the block paving rather than bullying it into submission. We were sold.

Once we said yes, the GreenThumb portal kicked into action and kept us fully in the loop. Dates, confirmations, what to expect — all delivered with the kind of smooth efficiency that makes you think, “Ah, this is how grown‑ups do things.”

Then Luke 2 appeared — exactly when he said he would, which already felt like a miracle. Absolute legend. Friendly, professional, and went above and beyond without even blinking. He did everything agreed, left everything tidy, and handed over follow‑up info that made updating all 14 residents blissfully easy.

We’re genuinely delighted, and now we’re all standing around like excited kittens waiting to see the block paving transform, after 20+ years of zero TLC.

Dylan our operator today took time to cut our lawn with care and did an excellent job- we were very impressed by his professionalism

I was concerned as to whether treating my lawn at this moment with the grass being exceptionally dry was going to be effective. Matt Walton took time to explain to me that the treatment is dormant until spurred on to add nourishment to the area, once it has received rain or is watered.
After inspecting the lawn he suggested that scarifying later in the year would help. I asked for the approximate price, which he willingly worked out for me. Very pleased with the service.

Always a pleasure to work with. I communicate through the portal which is easy and hassle free. Have always kept appointments and arrived on time. I like to hear of any recommendations via the leaflet as I am never around on the appointment day and can use the portal at my leisure to accept or decline. I pay through the portal too .. all nice and easy!! My lawn is looking green and healthy even through the dry spell. Thank you GreenThumb Beverley!

Chris Dequidt from the Bath Branch of GreenThumb has been looking after my lawn for too many years to count. Love having a weed free lawn that looks green and lush .... Green Thumb are the answer. Years spent mucking about with various treatments and still a lawn full of weeks .... with Green Thumball that hassle is removed and I always have a lovely lawn to enjoy in my garden.

My lawn was treated by Chris Dequidt, Bath branch. He arrived between the times advised by Greenthumb and did an excellent and efficient job putting Summer Ready and Oasis treatments on the lawns.

Had a new specialist to my property to apply summer ready treatment. Matt Walton was knowledgeable about the product he was applying and was respectful of my property, he also informed me how long to keep my dog off the lawns that had been treated.

Totally appalled at the service provision after three years of custom. Trust pilot will not allow me to post pictures but honestly I am so cross at the state my garden has now been left since the new franchising structure and missed / ‘forgotten’ appointments. Will be cancelling my direct debit immediately.
