John from Green Thumb came to cut the lawn specially for my wedding. John is very professional and makes the garden look its best. Thanks so much for a terrific wedding present!

Service started very well and was great for years -operative was excellent but in the last few months, something has changed and they are NOT fulfilling their contract and NOT replying to emails or questions on the portal. Neither are they finalising my account.

This service seems ok until you want to cancel and then you get to see this company’s true colours. They were advised in writing and verbally that I wanted to stop treatments but for some reason they carried on doing them against my wishes whilst I was at work. I now have a balance to pay for those unwanted treatments. I wasn’t aware of this at the time, but I got a statement a few weeks ago saying I had 7 days to pay. This statement showed at the date I had cancelled I was due a refund which they kept quiet. But by carrying on doing the treatments I now owe them money. After sending them lots of emails and either being ignored or them claiming that they could not see proof of my cancellation (even though I resent it numerous times) they have finally taken some responsibility and offered a discount. But they still want me to pay half because they are blaming me for not paying enough attention to my emails, which I admit I don’t read them all properly as I have a busy life and get hundreds. And why would I when I had an email from them after my initial request to cancel saying they would do so. I wasn’t to know they decided against cancelling, presumably to avoid giving me a refund. I would avoid this company. It’s not worth the stress when you want to cancel.

Since starting with GreenThumb my lawn has never been better. Its taken some time, but we have had some great service from Steve Flint and the Sheffield staff.

Phil from Lincoln has been treating my lawn for several years now he is always very helpful, informative and my grass looks so healthy and green, even in the summer months with some watering. I can't reccommend this service highly enough. Even after the winter months when the grass is looking patchy and less healthy I always receive tips and advice on how to manage the lawn after treatment. Thank you Phil (Lincoln).

These guys are remarkable!
My lawn was far from perfect, which is why I engaged them. Several years later, it’s worse, still full of moss and now so lumpy, patchy and uneven that I will have to relay the entire lawn in the autumn.
Their customer service is appalling - it took weeks for them to reply to my email saying I was going to stop using them and then it was a generic email. When I asked for a visit earlier in the year from the local manager following a pitiful scarification visit that left most of the moss, not only did it take weeks but he failed to follow up on his own suggestion of getting the team back.
Their site visits are a work of comedy genius, in which a treatment is cursory given by a dawdling chap who makes no attempt to actually look at the lawn let alone offer “tailored advice”.
Do not use Green Thumbs in London is my advice - unless you fancy wasting hundreds of pounds each year.

Customer service does not exist since the local company went 'national'.
They don't keep appointments, and the communication is useless.
I will be cancelling.
