All arrangements were perfect as described!

I love that the company when it gives you transportation it always there and very good communication. I have never had a horrible hotel pick by the company. The tours guys are amazing! They are always on time. I really had good experiences with this agency .

Tour guide Angel was incredible
This review will be on how he handled so many situations that were made apparent to all that were on the bus with their constant complaints
This was a journey that everyone was well informed of the days travel
The other travelers from Trinidad added several areas of distraction that were so unwarranted
Angel handled them with grace and kept a balance each day on our agenda for the day
Our tour guide in Morocco was so attentive to all our needs as well
The different hotels were definitely an adventure
But this is all a part of travel with Great value
Now for our only really serious issue
When we tried to check in for our flights from London to Seattle , we found out we were placed on standby with British Airways
We had to purchase tickets home to the amount of $1800.00 each
Hopefully our insurance will be able to get that resolved
We tried to call the emergency line , no one answered
We were told that Great Value tried to reach out to both my husband and I which did not happen
We have our phone records and their is no call s from GV
We are trying very hard not to let this out a dark shadow over our trip

Our 2-week trip to Italy, booked through Great Value Vacations was awesome! The itinerary was spot on and the excursions were amazing! I highly recommend GVV to all of those interested in exploring travel options.

We have traveled abroad with GVV 3 times now. We’ve had two big glitches (not the fault of GVV) one of which was Covid, it hit 2 weeks before our trip to Ireland. We bought insurance but they allowed us a credit “3 years” later (unheard of to bending the rules that far out). Thank you!
It made us trust GVV for any future travels. The prices are great. GVV packages are reasonable and well thought out giving the opportunity to upgrade hotels, airlines, etc. Customer service is always readily available and helpful. They return calls and always strive to help any issues we had.
Our recent trip to Canada was amazing. Hotels were great choices and proximity to towns was perfect. We have always had access to all excursions available at all locations we’ve been to at a discount by printing and presenting our voucher.
We cannot say enough about GVV. People always recommend other companies they trust but with our experience with GVV traveling abroad, I honestly would always go with this company even if I could get a better deal elsewhere. (Not that we have). The value of trust in a company is priceless.

Second time using great value vacations, first time Ireland, this time, Costa Mujeres Mexico.
Transportation and accommodations were top notch. Seamless check in for everything.
Would recommend this agency and will use again.

The trip we did was the 11-day Greek Island Hopper that included all transfers and high speed ferries. I would have given this trip a 5-star review had it not been for a bad experience at the first of four hotels we were booked into; the only hiccup during the entire 11 day adventure. The first hotel we were booked in, the Titania, did not have our reservation; after traveling for 15 hours this is not the information you want to hear at check-in. We were eventually provided a room that was small and very dated in appearance. Our view was of an interior utility "courtyard" full of pipes, ductwork and rusty ladders. In our opinion GVV should stop using this hotel. This hotel also did not have record of our final night reservation, good thing we inquired about that ahead of time.
Having said that; this is the third trip we have booked with GVV and we will likely use them again because the first two trips to Iceland and Grenada were great and the rest of this trip to Greece was fabulous.
The other three hotels; the Kamari in Mykonos, the El Greco in Santorini, and the Megaron in Crete were excellent. The Megaron was the best of all, 5-star luxury with a stunning roof top restaurant and pool.
All the transfers to and from the hotels, ferries, airports that were included were excellent. The Tour of Athens including the Acropolis and Parthenon was fantastic. We can highly recommend this trip, especially if GVV does not use the Titania hotel in the future.

We booked a 14 day trip to Ireland / Scotland. Booking the B&B's were frustrating for Scotland because you couldn't see what was available. You could only email a person that would see if there was something for the time you needed. And because your voucher only covered category 1, you were upcharged for room availability. We stayed at several hotels that were category 9, king suites. We were never asked what type of room we wanted, but appears we were booked for the most expensive room when other less expensive rooms were available. I feel that was dishonest and not forth coming by the company. I think the vacation overall was more expensive than it should have been due to all of the upcharges that were required; B&B's, car rentals, Explorer Pass, ect.
Both countries were beautiful, and we will be returning in the future. I just don't see us booking with Great Value again.

This was our fourth trip with Great Value Vacations, and once again, it truly lived up to the name. It was a great value and a fantastic trip overall. Everything was well organized, and we really enjoyed the experience.
The only thing I might do differently is adjust the itinerary between Venice and Lake Maggiore. The distance is definitely doable, but it does make for a lot of driving. Since we had already been to Venice, I might have felt differently if it had been our first time there. That said, we still had a wonderful trip and continue to be very happy with Great Value Vacations. We would absolutely travel with them again!

Flights - Would have appreciated a highlight on your booking info regarding flight changes - It cost us a lot of extra money to do so … Thought it would be included being that I booked almost 9 months in advance

Kinsale hotel was perfect location and accommodations
Celtic Ross- This hotel was a tour bus hotel - Not a gem! nice enough, pretty area, horrible food. 2 nights here was stupid - Not close to any tourist sights or restaurants . We only stayed one night and had to go find another hotel close to attractions-
Dromoland Inn- Again … not a gem! 2 nights here was too much … 1 hr to the Cliffs and not much else around here to see . The grounds were nice but we are clearly not welcome in rhe Castle area. The Pub and food there was very good though.
Ashling Hotel- I asked for a hotel that was close to the airport and I would not consider a 35 min bus ride close! Beautiful hotel and nice that the bus stop was close by - but a waste of money as we arrived at 11:30 pm and catch our bus at 6:30 am.
Would definitely not trust your hotel choices in future travel again without doing by own research.. which is disappointing because that is why we used your travel service .
Honestly… doubtful if we would use Great Value Vacations again for our travel needs … which sadly is a loss because we plan to do one International trip every year here on out.

The booking process was great. The reserved places to stay were excellent. The staff at each location were so helpful. The Castlerosse Hotel and resort was a perfect location in southwest Ireland to see all sites. The 2 bedroom cottage was great with the kitchen and a clothes washer/dryer added bonus. Only suggestion would be to add a direct flight option for those who might wish this even with an added cost to package.

The hotels were very nice . the excursions could have used more specific details and directions since we spent too much time trying to find the locations with the sketchy directions.

Overall the trip was wonderful and the lake area was beautiful!! People need to understand that if you do the Venice extension it is nearly 4 hours to and from and the tolls are pretty high both ways. It would have been better to fly into Venice and out of Milan....
Additionally, we had a few issues getting to the car rental place.

We had a trip to Portugal and extension
to Madrid, Spain.
The connecting flights are tight! We missed our connecting flight from Paris to Lisbon.
We waited 8 hrs😡 for our next flight. We wasted a whole day.
Otherwise- the hotels in Portugal is OK- great location but the hotel in Madrid is terrible. It’s like a little apartment. The only good thing there is free breakfast.

First, our guide was amazing! She was always available with answers to questions, she was funny, knowledgable, and made the trip just fantastic. The accommodations were lovely, meals were great, transportation was very pleasant and the itinerary was wonderful.
