Great value. Love the hotel locations. They were all in the heart of the city. I wish we were told about flying Economy light. There are luggage weight limitations and no food on Iceland Air. We made it all work.

Very helpful in finding accommodations I would never have known of! That said, we should have flown into Shannon airport instead of Dublin. It would have been nice to not have to drive 3 hours after taking the red eye from the US. Also would have liked to have a phone number we could call before leaving with any questions. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

We had an amazing trip! The excursions we're great. We loved most of our hotels. I will say that the last hotel in Dublin, The Bonnington, was a let down in comparison to the others. The location was not in a great part of town, safety wise. It would would have been nice to have more places that included breakfast as a part of the package. Other than that, everything was as advertised. And I'll definitely use this site again for future vacations.

We booked a trip to Italy through Great Value and also purchased travel insurance for peace of mind. Unfortunately, after arriving in Italy, we had a family emergency back home in the U.S. and had to return within hours of landing. We contacted Great Value immediately to try to change our flights or get assistance, but customer service was no help at all. We were told that because we had already boarded the original flight, there would be no refund despite having travel insurance.

We were only in Italy for about 6–8 hours before having to return home, and the lack of compassion or support during an emergency was extremely disappointing. This was our third time using Great Value, but after this experience, we will not use them again or recommend them to others. Travelers should carefully review exactly what their “travel insurance” does and does not cover before booking.

I was disappointed with the hotel provided, which was supposedly located in Dublin, but was actually north of Swords, nearly an hour away from the city. As a result, we opted not to stay at the hotel provided by GVV. Instead, we chose to pay for a hotel in Dublin out of pocket to avoid navigating the narrow, winding roads in the dark after a long night in the city. Additionally, we paid more for a better and shorter flight. However, the itinerary changed, and our flight ended up being the 13-hour flight instead of the 11-hour flight, and we did not receive a refund for the additional flight charge. Despite this, the trip was great, and Dublin was the final and most anticipated stop, but GVV fell short of expectations in Dublin.

Over all great service and all reservations were good hotels except for one, car rental was on spot

Communication of included benefits was not clear and we did not feel like there was enough value for the cost.

We had an amazing experience in Italy. The flight there was nice. I do recommend purchasing your own seats ahead of time. The hotel in Rome was very nice. The room was way nicer than I expected and the free breakfast was amazing. We left our car at the hotel and took the taxi back and forth from Rome. It was about 20-25 minutes each way. The staff was really nice. Our hotel in Tuscany was a bit rustic but it was a part of an old monastery and went with the vibe of the location. The apartment and rooms were nice sizes and we had a little kitchen and bathroom. The area around the hotel was sooo pretty. We loved exploring and watching the sunset over the valley. It look us about 30 minutes to an hour in a half to visit other cities and towns. Lastly, the hotel in Treviso was sooo pretty. The rooms were large with a beautiful wall painting and chandelier. The bathroom was so nice. They also had an amazing breakfast. Our rental car was good as well. I did purchase an upgrade but everything went very smoothly with this trip. Only issue was the 50 minute layover in Coppehagen was too short. We almost missed our connection to Chicago. I would do this trip again in a heartbeat. It was such a good deal. There are additional fees for hotel parking at one hotel and tourist fees at all hotels. Just be aware.

I have used Great Value Vacations for multiple vacations: Ireland rail vacation, Italy rail vacation, Mexico all inclusive, and most recently Central Europe - Budapest, Vienna, and Prague. I have never been disappointed. I will continue to recommend the site to my friends and family!

We had a great time, however, our hotel in Rome, was so far away from center city, that we had to try and figure out how to get to a bus station, and figure out which one to take. It was really frustrating. The only hotel we thought was 4 starts was our second hotel.
We missed one of our free tours, because we couldn't find it.

The trip itself was magical! We got to see so much of Ireland. Our first hotel in Kilkenny was perfect with the best location! So much to do in the town and just about the right amount of time. We explored on our own the next day!
The only negatives really were trying to find parking at some of the hotels and the fact that some of the hotels did not have air conditioning. It would get very warm at night
The one change I would make is removing Ennis and adding a stay in Galway and spending more time on the coast. We also didn’t really enjoy Dublin that much as we enjoyed random stops in the countryside in less touristy areas.

We loved the vacation we booked through Great Value Vacations! Being able to add on the high speed ferries was awesome, and the whole process was very easy. The only issue we had was with our hotel in Crete -Hotel Olympic. The shower didn't drain well, so you had to turn it off every few minutes to prevent it from overflowing. This was true for our shower, and the couple we were traveling with as well. There was also a large group of teenagers staying there - they would run up and down the hallway at night, knocking on doors, yelling, and being incredibly loud starting at 1:30am. We asked them to quiet down, and called the front desk about it. The people at the front desk were like, what do you want us to do about it?
One suggestion would be to have the last transfer pick up a little earlier, so you have a little extra time at the airport when heading home. The transfer that was set up for us picked us up 2 hours before our flight, took about 30 minutes to get to the airport and a long time to get through security causing a lot of stress to get to our international flight. We made it with about 15 minutes to spare. Overall it was a wonderful trip!

Everything was as expected, the transfers were on time the drivers were very nice and helpful. The hotels are nice and cleaned ,customer service is on top of anything upon requested

I don't have words really. Our Hawaii vacation booked with Great Value was so incredible! We had an absolutely wonderful, even epic time! Our vacation included flights and hotels. We booked lots of other tours and activities with the money we saved booking through GSV. Everything went super smoothly as far as GSV is concerned. As for the Hilton, here are my thoughts: In Honolulu, MAKE SURE you take the upgrade offer for the Rainbow Tower. The Diamond Tower is terrible, like creepy bad motel terrible, and it will ruin your vacation having to stay in it. The Rainbow Tower is beautiful and new so save a couple hundred for that. In Kona, Waikoloa Village is expensive in terms of food and the quality is meh so take the free shopping shuttle to the Kings or Queens shopping area for better food. The food at Fosters Kitchen is very good, top quality and fresh. For a fancy dinner, try Roy's. Food there was great, service was so-so. We did the Blue Hawaiian Island Spectacular Helicoper Tour and the Waterfall landing was once in a lifetime EPIC! I will never ever forget that experience. There's a grocery store at the Kings area, use that for water and stuff you forget. BRING SNORKEL stuff for the lagoon, a waterproof pouch for your phone, water shoes are a MUST for all the rocks on the floor of the lagoon. We swam with the Dolphins and that was super cool. We rented a car from the Kona airport which allowed us to be able to drive into Kona and find a Walmart and reasonable food prices. Ali'i is like any other beach community, kind of dirty and seedy in places but with wonderful hole in the wall spots like the vegan organic Journey Cafe- OMG the food here was beyond excellent. On the drive are also beaches (Hilton Waikoloa has no beach, just the lagoon). We stopped at beach 69 which is super cool!! (Pro Tip: don't go late as the tide eats up the beach). It's cool for exploring. Wear water shooes cause again- the rocks. In Honolulu we did the Waimea Valley and the Waimea Falls. Again, EPIC! Swimming in the falls was beyond. The water is ice cold but oh so refreshing once you get in. Same tips- water shoes are a must as well as water pouch for your phone or a GoPro so you can get pics in the water. I could have spent 4 hours there and we only had 2. We did the Starlight Luau at the Hilton Waikiki and it was so very good- really top quality. We did Diamond Seating. If you want front seating you have to do Diamond plus get in line at about 5 pm. The dancers are amazing and the host is great. The food was good. We spent a day on the beach and rented the umbrella and chairs, save some $$ for that, it's about $100 at the time of this review for all day. We ventured out to Tanaka of Tokyo hibachi and that was fun and the food was good. We went to Ala Moana Shopping center and if you love to shop, this place has all the upscale brands and a Macy's etc...Overall, the vacation was amazing. Without all of our add-ons, we still would have had a great time just relaxing because both resorts offered tremendous views and relaxing spots. We love to do things so we packed in as much as we could. I am already looking for the next great deal on GSV.

Excellent value.. The Outrigger Paradise was near perfect and we had no issues with our flights. Wonderful short 3-day trip to Waikiki!! Thank You.

The easy of setting up and getting what we wanted.

Our trip to Lake Maggiore was more about taking in the beauty of the lake and surrounding areas. The backdrop of the mountains with the sunrise and sunset was exquisite.
The hotel was in a perfect location with the ferry terminal right across the street. From there you can catch a ferry to the different islands and cities on the lake. The hotel itself was fine but the beds were not the most comfortable. They offered a buffet breakfast every morning. There were multiple restaurants for lunch or dinner within a 2-3 block area.
We picked up our rental car by the Milan airport. When we got to the hotel there wasn’t many free parking spots. There was a lot directly across the street but we had to get a pass and pay 18€ per day to park. On Thursday night we had to find alternate parking because they have a market on Friday where the hotel parking lot is. We drove around for an hour looking for a spot and we were lucky someone pulled out of a parking spot one mile from the hotel. Driving on the main roads is fine but their secondary roads are like narrow alley ways. Some so narrow you can easily scrape the side view mirrors if you’re not careful. I would encourage travelers to take the VIP insurance with a zero deductible and to familiarize yourself with the roadway signage before you arrive in Italy.
If I travel to the Milan/lake district again I would stay in Milan and do day trips to the lakes and surrounding areas. Less stress than driving. Some people we met on excursions said they used the trains and buses to get around and it was convenient.
Driving around we were able to go to Lake Como, private estates and gardens, up to Lugano, Switzerland and a 4800 foot high mountain that had a mountain coaster.

This was my first solo trip (Budapest, Vienna and Prague) after a divorce. I was nervous and honestly, I kept expecting something to go wrong. But nothing did! The hotels were lovely, the tours were good, the hotel transfers were easy and on time - everything went smoothly, thanks to Great Value. The hotel in Budapest was especially nice and their free breakfast was amazing. I love that most of the time is free time, because I like to meander and do things at my own pace. This was a big step, going to Europe alone to countries where I didn't speak the language, and it was a fantastic adventure! I would definitely book with Great Value again.
