George Martindale started G M Windows & Doors Ltd the Bolton-based double-glazing windows and door replacement business in March 2018. He brings a passion for delivering outstanding work and a wealth of knowledge to support it. There, he gained immense insights into the best techniques and quality of materials and how he began establishing a solid network of contacts within the trade. His natural eye for detail and seeing first-hand how to run a successful business gave George the confidence to venture independently. What started as just George, a van, and word of mouth, is now a business with over 100 5 Star reviews. The first apprentice is now one of the top fitters in the region, and the fleet of vehicles is continuously expanding. You can find various services, from installing new doors and windows to repairing and replacing existing ones. Palladio door
Very helpful advice from George that made the decision making process easier . Bryony was very patient when pricing multiple different options .
We have waited a long time for this door as it has come from Ireland , but we are very happy with the result and the care taken during installation.

Great communication and amazing service
Great communication via Bryony throughout - really friendly approach. They had some stained glass custom made for me and I could not be happier with the result! The fitter on the day was really friendly too and kept me informed about what he was doing (the house is old so he had to do some workarounds!). Fantastic service.

This was the second time i have used GM Windows & Doors, and this time they came to install 4 windows upstairs. Lovely, friendly guys were so polite, arrived on time, worked really hard, and tidied up after themselves. The windows look great! It has rained since and i have noticed that the water remains on the OUTSIDE of the house where it BELONGS! ...so, bonus! No more towels on the window ledge for me :)

GM Windows - Professionals at work
Over the last 18 months George and his boys have installed all new PVC windows, external front and rear doors and more recently out came our patio doors along with some brick out work and in went 3 bi-folding doors with integral blinds.
George along with his crew have completely transformed our house, and we cannot thank everyone enough. They are professional, courteous, arrive on time, clean up after themselves, and their finished work is exceptional,
Of course, we cannot forget Bryony for her assistance liaising between George the lads and ourselves, she is a godsend, I am sure she has a lot more things to do but I cannot praise her enough.
We would definitely recommend GM Window & Doors
