One time I had an issue with my order getting lost in the shipping so their support was very nice and quick to send me a replacement. No questions asked. Top tier!

Many product are very nice but no customer service

Many product are very nice, no issues there, but when you need customer service assistance the support it non existent. (Yes as they replied below they did answer emails swiftly, with a solid "nothing wrong with the product" response) Sadly due to this I will no longer be stocking these products in my salon.

Ordered the 2 for £30 boxes

Ordered the 2 for £30 boxes. Checked the product description,the email small print only states *2 for £30 is only available one deal per customer!" And nothing else. I received 8 items in both boxes,16 in total. Both repeats of each other. Customer service just repeat "due to these being prepacked you MAY receive some repeated items. Again,nowhere even in their emails,do they state theyre pre-packed pre-chosen & all contain the same items. They wouldn't though would they cos who wants 4 tubes of the same shampoo & conditioner? 2 bath mits. 2 satin pillow cases that come in a set of 2,so no wonder they add them. A comb. A hand cream. 2 eye patches. Lip oil,same colour same original lip gloss. For £30 & again,all repeats. Ill be showing my bank its all been false advertising & ive offered to send it back so they can refund me & they've refused. So ill take it up with the bank & due to the photos I have showing it was nowhere on their site or in the emails then I will be going down other avenues to report this also as false advertising.
*edited to add* i have photos of the product description & the small print in the email. None of this was stated in it & i showed this to trading standards yesterday when they got back to me. I have requested a refund. U want me to pay to send it all bk. Which is £22 recorded delivery. I then end up out of pocket still either way. When again,it was your false advertising that caused this. All of this has now been submitted to my bank as well as your reply & my emails to show previous correspondence with me & customer service.

Regarding the £22 you have mentioned, this is a return cost you have gone and sourced yourself, not through our returns portal which we have recommended and linked you directly to on many occasions.

Nobody has refused a return or refund request, so we are unsure why this is stated in the review, no completed return submission has been received from you through our portal. If you still wish to return the items, you can do so at any time using the link previously provided over email.

Regarding the 2 for £30 Mystery Box offer, these boxes are sold as pre-packed promotional bundles and, as stated in the product information, duplicate items may be included. The contents supplied align with the terms of the offer.

Regarding your concern about false advertising, we can confirm that the promotion was advertised as a mystery box deal, with terms outlining that duplicates may occur. For this reason, the items supplied match the product description and the offer conditions, we are sorry for any disappointment.

Having reviewed the correspondence internally, we can confirm that our staff followed company procedure and communicated professionally, but we’re sorry if the tone did not come across as supportive during a frustrating situation.

Regarding the result itself, the images supplied showed that your daughter’s hair was already significantly over-processed and damaged. Hair in this condition is highly porous, meaning it absorbs pigment extremely quickly. In addition, the staining visible on the scalp indicates that the product was left on longer than the recommended processing time. Our Blonde One Shot shampoo is a highly pigmented toning product and requires careful timing and a strand test prior to full application, the product has been used successfully by thousands of customers and has received many positive reviews when applied in line with the recommended guidance.

Based on the evidence provided, we concluded that the outcome was related to hair condition and application time rather than a fault with the product itself. This is why a refund was not issued.

Brilliant products and excellent service. Placed an order New Year’s Day and it was dispatched the following day and delivered the day after that. I bought the scalp scrub which has made my scalp and hair feel amazing, and the heat defence spray which is also great. My top choice for extension-friendly products that are reasonably priced. End Nov 25, I ordered over £25 of goods for my daughters christmas presents...... Sat 6th Dec told they'd been delivered but at wrong address! It seems that the postcode automatically entered on my order form when i enter online, is incorrect, as Give Me Cosmetics keep telling me & saying it is customers responsibility to make sure it's the correct address at time of ordering. BUT I've ordered from GMC on numerous occasions before and NEVER had issues, as ALWAYS received to my correct address without a problem!
The main issue here, is that I requested photographic proof of delivery after the delivery was sent, so I could try & track the parcel myself but they took 1 MONTH to send this, which is not adequate at all, as such a time has passed now.
Ive been emailing but they dont care about customer retention and are abrupt. Infact, it seems for quite a few months, quite a lot of issues have occurred within customer services and customers are NOT HAPPY.

Added 6th Jan 2026....
I had no reason to check the address or read through the terms & conditions (as no-one ever does), because ALL my previous parcels have been delivered to correct address previously...with NO issues.
You fail to mention it took you 1 MONTH to send me the photo evidence of delivery that I've been asking wks for, as only received this week. Useless company!

Your order was placed using the delivery address you personally entered at checkout and confirmed was correct. We processed, dispatched, and shipped the parcel exactly in accordance with the information provided. The courier has confirmed that the parcel was successfully delivered to that address. The reason this one was different as this seems to be a topic of confusion, is because the past orders were addressed correctly, not with the incorrect details submitted on this occasion.

We do not have the ability to verify, amend, or correct customer-entered delivery details once an order has been shipped out, we only received contact once the parcel had been delivered, not after the confirmation email was sent which confirms your details and not while the order was in transit - only when the order had been successfully delivered & we are unable to attempt to divert - Please note the tracking information provided to you gives you the option to divert. At the time of purchase, you confirmed that you had read, understood, and agreed to our terms and conditions - you should never ignore the terms and conditions you agree to for any purchase and they should always be read and understood, we hope this information helps for any future orders you may place with any company. They clearly state that where an incorrect or incomplete address is provided, the customer is solely responsible for the outcome of the delivery.

All delivery confirmation data available to us has already been shared with you, including confirmation that the parcel was delivered as addressed. As the order has been completed and delivery fulfilled correctly, a refund or replacement is not applicable in this circumstance.

In regards to your updated review regarding the time it took, you are provided with your tracking information the moment your order leaves our warehouse via email, this is intended to be used by the customer to track your order or divert as it makes it way to you, you can also view your delivery confirmation including any images and GPS location on the couriers website, so you have had access to this from the moment the order was marked delivered.

Also please bear in mind that you were advised on our virtual assistant that multiple emails push your enquiry to the back of the queuing system and to to await a reply before you email again, you continued to email daily without awaiting a response, with closures over Christmas and New Year this lead to your response being later than what it would have been if multiple emails had not been sent and instruction followed.

As the parcel has been delivered to the address supplied at checkout, there is no further action we are able to take & we are sorry for any disappointment that this has caused.

I was given givemecosemetics as a gift…

I was given givemecosemetics as a gift for Christmas - the box set! First time use this evening and I am beyond shocked at how nice it’s made my hair look and feel! I have very thick frizzy hair and the products have done wonders for my hair - better than other products that cost way more!!! I used the shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, heat protector, hair repair then the serum and WOW I couldn’t be more impressed!!! I will be buying more once I have got through this :)

Super scented weightless hair products

For me To make the effort to leave a review , Trust me it’s got to be great. I’ve seen the adverts like many and never ordered but this week thought well there’s an offer on why not. Within 3 days I had my order. I bought the purple box papaya I think. Full size products including heat protection spray, shampoo, conditioner hair mask and more. The shampoo smelt amazing lathers well and once rinsed my hair felt not just clean but light weight . It didn’t feel weighed down like other shampoos I’ve used. I then used the conditioner and serum and honestly my hair feels and looks amazing and for an older lady it takes a lot for my hair to do anything. I’m hooked from one use. I will definitely be trying other scents. I cant believe I hadn’t tried sooner. Oh also super cute brush came in the box and a hair mask. Fabulous product for a small price would also make a great gift as so much in the box. Finally I’ve found a great product at an even greater price.

Rubbish customer service

Products may be ok but the customer service is diabolical. I order a few box sets for christmas gifts but when they arrived the box was soaking wet and crushed (even though it wasn't raining) so I contacted customer service and sent pics but they said they couldn't see any damage from the pics. I asked them to send me a return label or QR code so I could return them then they would be able to see the damage and they refused. No way could i have gifted them so Ive binned the items and won't ever order from them again. Especially as they wouldn't even support me in returning the products. Ill be looking into doing a charge back now instead to get my money back!
So since this review i have had numerous more emails from Give Me saying as I had requested a return label (even though I was unable to print this or even use it) they are going to charge me the cost of the processing the return label!!! I mean, wow! So not only have i been unable to return them, they're saying their guna charge me extra for not being able to print off a return label that I never used anyway.
I find their reply to this factually incorrect also. If anyone needs to see any of the emails or pics id be more than willing to send them. Dont want anyone else having the problems I had.

At no stage were you refused a return or refund. You were correctly advised by our customer service team to submit a return via our online returns portal, which you have already done, please note that if you do not return the products you will still be charged the fee of the label you have created as you have agreed to return the goods by accepting the terms and conditions on the return portal. This is our standard process for all customers, and return labels or QR codes are not issued manually. Our team have been nothing but polite and considerate throughout the entire multiple message threads you have sent in.

The images you provided were reviewed carefully and show no damage to the products or the gift packaging. The only visible issue was damage to the outer shipping box, which was explained to you at the time. The items inside were intact and unaffected.

We take customer feedback seriously, and as you can see from our positive feedback we go out of our way to ensure our customers receive the best service - within our terms and conditions but we also need to address claims that do not align with the evidence provided or our records. Any valid return will always be handled in line with our published returns policy.

I ordered a bundle and they sent me the wrong conditioner. I obviously chased it and got a speedy reply. I explained I wanted to exchange the wrong conditioner for the right one. They responded with " we sent the different conditioner because the correct one was out of stock. I am now expected to send the bundle back and pay postage myself ! WHY? It was their mistake ! ? JUST SEND ME THE CORRECT CONDITIONER WHEN ITS BACK IN STOCK ! I am angry, especially when I am a regular customer!

Don’t bother

Placed an order for a men’s gift set for my son for Christmas it showed the 3 items in the box on the website. Every single influencer that reviewed and pushed these products on social media all showed unboxing from a gift box. My order arrived in a flimsy brown envelope that is ripped, how can you give this for a gift? Contacted and the replies are blunt and unhelpful

Have already contacted via email and still awaiting a reply, my name also isn’t Sean so don’t assume maybe read my name!

SECOND UPDATE
Received an insult of a reply, total rip off of a company I’ll know in future to stay clear. Any company who things it’s ok to send toiletries in a flimsy brown envelope that arrives ripped to bit doesn’t deserve my business. Customer service agents would need retrained also!

Placed an order on the 28.11.25. Still not received my order. They told me it had been sent to an InPost locker but InPost told me they didn’t have it. I get a notification yesterday saying it has been returned back to sender… trying to request a refund but so hard to get hold of them and they just ignore you. 😢

Absolutely horrible experience. On 1st of December got email about shipping my order. But now on 11th of December package is still with sender. When I contacted after 7 days I got response about escalating it to get it posted yet since then nothing changed and never get anymore response from them.

Placed my order on 20/11 and I have…

Placed my order on 20/11 and I have still not received it. I’ve contacted customer service and was told to check with neighbors even though the tracking had shown it wasn’t ever out for delivery. They then advised me they would contact Yodel and investigate but I’ve not heard anything for over a week now! To rub salt on the wound, they sent me an email asking me if I would like to restock my products…. Which I never received. Really not happy and I would like a refund.

Absolutely horrendous from start to…

Absolutely horrendous from start to finish. I ordered £26.90 worth of hair products on the 16th of November and they arrived on the 19th with no issues. I then placed another order for £59.98 worth of products during the Black Friday deal on the 28th of November—items my daughter had chosen for her birthday.

The shipment was delayed, and despite checking the tracking daily (as her birthday had already passed), delivery was never attempted. Eventually the tracking updated to say the shipment was damaged and being returned to the sender. I emailed them immediately, explaining the situation and asking for a replacement to be sent as soon as possible.

Instead, I received an email saying the Black Friday bundle deal was no longer available and that some items would need to be refunded. I replied asking if there was another solution, as these were my daughter’s birthday presents and she was expecting them. After checking online, I saw that everything inside the bundle was still available to order individually at full price— but the Black Friday bundle boxes were unavailable. It seemed reasonable to expect some kind of alternative or goodwill gesture.

Instead, they responded by processing a full refund without addressing my email at all. My daughter now has nothing, despite the order being paid for, and their lack of effort to help has been incredibly disappointing. It feels like they were happy to take the money during Black Friday, but if anything goes wrong with their courier, you’re out of luck unless you pay full price again.

Customer service has been absolutely shocking. I’ve been a loyal customer, but after this experience, I will never order from them again.

We completely understand how frustrating it is when a parcel is damaged in transit. In this case, the courier returned the shipment to us due to damage, which meant we were unable to send the original Black Friday bundle you purchased.

Our Black Friday bundles come as a complete set with specific packaging. Once that packaging is no longer available, we’re unable to recreate or resend the bundle — even if the individual items are still available separately. For this reason, we processed a full refund as soon as the damaged parcel was confirmed by the courier.

We apologise that this wasn’t the resolution you were hoping for, and we understand how disappointing that can be. We appreciate your previous support as a customer and are sorry that this experience didn’t reflect the standard we always aim to provide.

The worse the customer service awful…

The worse the customer service awful may as well talk to yourself as just goes round in a circle. product wasn't how it was advertised made my hair strip from colour and feel awful, i stated this which was asked for it to be returned once returned they refused refund as was slightly used which i stated now out of pocket and product although wouldn't used again but it's the principle as i've paid for it.

We’re sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience and that the product wasn’t suitable for your hair, we do give plenty of information on all the types of our haircare ranges, who they are suitable for etc and if you are ever unsure our customer care team are always happy to assist.

We do want to clarify our returns policy: we’re unable to offer refunds or accept returns on used cosmetic items unless there is a confirmed fault with the product. This is due to strict health and safety regulations surrounding opened cosmetic goods.

In this case, the item was returned to us after being used, and suitability for a specific hair type is not considered a product fault. For this reason, we were unable to process a refund.

We understand this may be disappointing, but we must follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the safety of all our customers.
