Design great but power source an issue
Disappointing that batteries are eaten up quickly and that the alternative is a more permanent charge - not quite so well suited to the location we had in mind, but the design is still very pleasing.

Great design and really lovely people
I have purchased a number of items from Gingko Design, including several Light Books, for each of our 4 'children', and Alarm Clocks, but my favourite is The Floating Moon. It is a masterpiece in design, just Amazzzzzzing, and it shows how very clever the people at Gingko Design really are. As bonus, the team there are also really lovely, especially Lisa Byron - thank you and keep up the good work!

Lovely light and ornament
Lovely light and ornament. Bought the first one (a raincloud) in Christchurch, New Zealand four weeks ago. We were so pleased that we looked up the company on our return and ordered an owl and moon as a nightlight.
The only thing is they show every fingerprint and socks of dust!!

I was disappointed because it is not…
I was disappointed because it is not possible to use the lamp only with the battery but we must connect with the usb cable (not good and not clairly mention).
The warranty is 2 years on the web site but 1 year on the manuel included in the box ???
