I would definitely recommend Getting Married in Denmark team’s service. We booked for the Complete Service and it is a very pleasant journey with them from the start until the end.

We had used their service they were really friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. Things like informing us about what documents we had to submit to the authorities, in which format, how to do it, etc., they helped us throughout all of this. They also managed to get us an appointment date with the town hall really fast.

We cannot recommend the team at GMID any more highly, and it is no exaggeration to say that we would not be married now if we tried to do it alone.. We tried once before and our application was bounced which then led to months of back and forward meaning our date was then lost. The second time we got GMID on board from the start and our application was approved first time. They picked up on things that we never would have. Tine, the registrar, led the ceremony with the two witnesses in a very friendly and sensitive manner. A fantastic experience, from the beginning of our correspondence to the end of our vacation in Denmark. We felt in good hands with you from the very beginning. Email correspondence was always prompt and precise. Should any discrepancies arise, it's usually because clients don't properly read or follow your recommendations in the email replies, even though you always point them out. I'm writing this 3 days after getting back home from our trip to Denmark, where we got married.

We found Getting Married in Denmark online and after reading reviews, like this one, we chose them to handle the entire process for us, as it is very bureaucratic, as can be expected.

The team was very knowledgable on all the requirements and options available and answered all our many questions.

While the process of gathering all relevant documents and photos required to prove our couple-hood was long and tedious, we understand the team is this thorough because they want to assure us, as much as possible, getting the approval to marry without delays. We did want to get married on a specific date, so that was important.

Everything worked perfectly. We got the approval, they booked our date for us at Copenhagen City Hall, which was really lovely, and the team there were great, putting us at ease, because we were very nervous.

We got our marriage certificates with Apostille very quickly, so everything worked out great.

My only issues were with the speed of correspondence, as conversing by email has delays. And it did end up being very pricey for us as it happened that all our requirements necessitated extra services. But that's just us.

What an absolutely amazing team! From our first contact to the last, we were dealt with with professionalism, care and understanding. Our initial contact was with Sam and Tiago who walked us through the process and answered any questions we had and helped with lots of information even before we had made any payment. We opted for the essential service only at first as we had to get a schengen visa. Our file was prepared by Hilja, who was so patient, especially with my lack of photographic skills on the documents! We were updated quickly about our file and given advice on how to get better pictures and the best way to send them. We had one issue along the way but that was with our schengen application. I requested a letter from Hilja stating that they were organising the wedding for us, as the visa centre wanted proof and it was sent to me within a couple of hours. Once our file was complete we upgraded to the full service, Erma took over and submitted the application for us. She updated us regularly on the status of the application and was so helpful with any we asked l. Thanks to the team our application was approved and the date was set. We got married in Copenhagen Town Hall. What an absolutely beautiful building, the wedding room is stunning. The ceremony, although short, exceeded all our expectations. The ceremony was conducted with such care and love and we were made to feel so welcome and special, as if we were the only couple to get married that day. Thus service is worth every penny, the team know the process and how to apply correctly so it took all the stress away from us.
