Happy with our experience
It was a great and positive experience with Gen H. Although we didn’t receive feedback within the 10 days initially promised by our broker, the overall process was smooth and efficient. We’re very happy with the outcome and appreciate how quickly everything was handled in the end.

Beyond Mortgages, They Deliver Dreams

Great for renters and first time buyers :)
Gen H allowed my partner and I to buy our first home, simple as that! We've just completed a remortgage away from Gen H after an initial three year fix on our first home, so feel like we have a view on the whole customer journey.
The rates are high compared to a 'regular' mortgage but if your situation is similar to ours then your affordability is not good enough to be considered for these, so a Gen H style mortgage is one of your only options. We used my parents as income boosters on the application but made all the payments ourselves, meaning when we remortgaged the only additional charge from the solicitors was to remove Gen H's restriction rather than a full equity transfer which is more expensive, so keep that in mind when deciding on payments with your boosters.
Customer service, communication, dashboard etc. has always been good, and we're only leaving so we can remove our income boosters and extend our term to lower our monthly payments. Absolutely no regrets and would make the same decision again every time - thanks Gen H! :)

Speedy and efficient service
Gen H were speedy and efficient in arranging a Joint Borrower Sole Proprietor mortgage for the purchase of my daughter’s first home. It was not straightforward and , due to complications, had to be rearranged three times but Gen H were swift in getting the offers ready for us.
