I am 74 and have been travelling to airports with and without my car , parking at Gatwick official parking was the easiest of all , I was secptical that it was going to be an easy parking , but to my amazement , i arrived and the barrier opened and I went to the level that i thought was the best with plenty of space and when I came back , and got my car and drove to the barrier , it opened and left , there were not tickets or people to bother you , bit more expensive , but it was worth it , much better than valet parking or other forms of parking

It is so easy to park in the short stay…
It is so easy to park in the short stay parking you drive to the allotted carpark and follow the signs
Park and go.
It is no too bad a walk to the terminal building.
We had a bit of a hick up on return. We were delayed by over 3 hrs
So we're not sure if we would have an over charge. On leaving the car par the barrier lifted straight away but when we tried to leave the airport we had a £437 charge.
I pressed the assistance button and it responded straight away.
Realised it was a mistake and we left.
It took no time at all really.
So all was good in the end.

The best part about mix stay car park…
The best part about mix stay car park is that it is walking distance to check-in but not as close as the short stay and nearly as expensive, also it is not well signposted on the approach to the North Terminal

Seemless and efficient parking system. Busy location proves its uage but still easy to find parking space. Only negitive comment is signage to find exit very vague could benefit from better signage but otherwise perfect.

The return bus experience was awful
The bells on the bus did not work so despite shouting to the driver he carried on driving - I ended up having to walk from car park A to car park D.

Zero compassion
Our dog was rushed into hospital the day before our flight. After our dog had gone away we attempted to cancel the parking but we were 23 hours from our entrance time and the cut off was 24 hours. No compassion no empathy no respect. £77 taken from us for a parking space allocated to someone else. Life has no meaning anymore.

Review your booking carefully
Whilst I have had an overall good experience with official Gatwick Airport Parking with the access to the North Terminal departures from the mid stay parking being extremely easy and quick, I made a simple mistake when booking our return time and misinterpreted midnight as being for the correct date, ie 00:00 thinking this was for that night but this was for the night before thus leaving the car park 24 hours later. As a result, I was fined £60 for the overstay reduced to £30 if paid within 48 hours. Whilst I have problem paying for the additional 1 day stay, and I won’t be the first or last to make this mistake, I feel that common sense would prevail and the additional free charged would be that for the additional day only.
Please beware when booking and review the information carefully before completing your booking.

Excellent and friendly bus service and well sign posted.
Thank you for requesting feedback regarding my recent stay at the North Terminal Long Term Car Park.
Overall, everything went very smoothly. The bus transfer service in particular was excellent—the buses were large and spacious, which made boarding and traveling with luggage very easy. Furthermore, the route and stops were clearly signposted, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout.
