G and E Services Omdömen

First rate from initial enquiry to the full installation.
I would thoroughly recommend.

Would not hesitate to recommend G&E services to anyone wanting to step into the world of solar.

We have 18 panels and a Tesla powerwall 3 battery, the installation was completed without any problems, the contact with the admin teams has always been friendly and constructive,

I've previously used G&E for my whole home electrification (Solar + Battery System, Whole Home Aircon & Mixergy Heat Pump Water Cylinder) and this time for an EV charger installation.

Returning to someone I've used before is, in its own right, a recommendation for anyone reading this. Phil and crew have always been very accommodating, offered practical advice and delivered exactly what they say they will. Nothing has ever been too much trouble.

This time was no exception, Alex was brilliant! He discussed the install and listened to my preference for the charger location; then just made it happen! It wasn't the most straightforward route as my meter is in the middle of the house, but his work ethic was outstanding. He took time to explain things, to the right level of detail, and left everything clean and tidy once complete. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I've already been in contact for another install locally, so I can't recommend more than that.

Great service, knowledgeable and friendly staff and a local well established company.

What a great experience from G&E. The installation process was fantastic. Andy the installer was extremely conscientious making sure every detail was correct. The install itself was clean and tidy with all debris taken away.

On the 11th September 2026, I had 26 solar panels and a tesla Powerwall battery fitted. What a joy dealing with G&E, from my first contact with the office to the survey and then the installation all went as agreed. I had a few questions when the quote was produced and Julie & Lucy couldn't have been more helpful, On the day of the installation the team went through everything before and after to make sure everything was being placed as agreed. They are really professional , friendly and helpful in making me sure and comfortable with the installation. The team set up the Powerwall ,installed my app and set everything up so I had nothing to do, exceptional detail. The system they designed, recommended and installed works beyond my expectations. I found G&E a joy to deal with and will buy my Air Conditioning from them as I know the whole project will be delivered as planned and agreed without drama and disappointment.

This contractor installed 15 solar panels and a Sigenergy Battery/Inverter and Gateway at our house. They did a brilliant job, and have been great company right from the beginning when we received a quotation for the new system. Communication was great and following a visit to their showroom, we decided that this was a company that we could trust to do our install. We had to wait a couple of months for the install but that was fine as they are very busy company and we were in no hurry. G&E are a small family company but their service was second to none. On the day of install (2nd September) the fitters turned up, were very polite and worked very hard to complete the install in one day. The standard of their work was excellent and we have no hesitation recommending this company if you want a new solar/battery installation. Well done to all concerned, particularly Rob (Contracts Manager) , Alex (the installer) and Jason for his scaffolding service. We shall be looking for the installation of air conditioning with G&E next.

Excellent service from start to finish. V professional and helpful team. Dylan and Kai did a fantastic job for the solar installation and made sure we were all set up with the app before leaving . I would highly recommend this company if you are interested in solar panels and battery

We have just had solar panels installed. Dylan and Kai were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They worked at pace despite the high temperature and took the time to walk us through every step of the job, right through to helping us install and understand how the app works - and answer our questions. A really great example of five-star service. Thank you!

Dylan and Kai carried out the installation and were professional, knowledgeable, and careful throughout. They ensured the panels were visually aligned for the best aesthetic and identified an option to add an extra panel. The wiring was run internally through existing routes and the battery stack neatly installed in the garage.
One of our key criteria was a neat job with no damage. Despite the panel layout requiring a significant number of mounting bars, and a horribly wet day, there was no damage the roof felt and no leaks. A few clay tiles broke during the installation, which is to be expected, and the team replaced them on the same day with identical, pre-aged tiles, leaving the roof in perfect condition. I don’t often recommend companies, but I’d highly recommend G&E.

Great company to deal with, Phil is a gem of a person and is really passionate about his work. He has got a great team working for him, which is a testament to his great leadership skills. Julie, Dylan, Stuart, Kai & Alex are all fantastic to deal with. Very easy to talk to and strong professionals in their respective fields. I have 27 solar panels along with 2 x Tesla Powerwall 3 installed through them, honestly I couldn’t be any happier with the overall service, workmanship, product knowledge, communication and personal touch. I am also surprised to see that they don’t have many reviews. I shortlisted G&E with some other big brands like Spirit Energy, Apex, Artisan & Heatable. Whilst all of those names were good professionals, G&E took the edge because of Phil, who is an absolute legend. I highly recommend G&E if you are on the market for a solar PV system. I am so impressed with them, that I have also given them my aircon installation business which they will be completing for me in the 2nd quarter. Well done G&E team!!

My initial contacts by email with Lucy and Phil were very informative and I was given a competitive price. These were quickly followed up by a visit from Rob who checked that the proposed battery installation was suitable and that there would be no snags. As the installation would be slightly easier than usual I even managed to negotiate a slightly reduced price :)
The battery and controller were installed extremely neatly by Dylan (with initial help from another of his colleagues as the battery pack is VERY heavy) in a morning the following week.
It has now been installed 3 weeks and has performed faultlessly in that time. We have had solar panels for several years which has reduced our grid consumption quite a bit but the battery has made a lot of difference and we have used no peak rate electricity in that time (and cheap rate only for charging our car). I'm expecting even more savings during the darker months as the battery will charge up during the cheap rate for our use during the day.

I recently had the pleasure of working with G&E services for an installation of an air source heat pump in our home. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. All the tradesmen sent out to us demonstrated the highest level of professionalism. They arrived on time, maintained a clean and organised workspace, and were respectful of our property. The quality of the work was exceptional.
Stewart showed great skill and attention to detail, ensuring that every aspect of the job was completed to perfection. The company clearly have a deep understanding of their trade. Throughout the project, Stewart and James kept us informed about the progress and any potential issues. Any member of the G&E company were always available to answer our questions and provided clear and concise explanations. The pricing was very fair, especially considering the high quality of the work. We were provided a detailed quote upfront, and there were no surprises or hidden costs. I am extremely satisfied with the work completed by all the members of the G& E services. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone in need of a reliable and skilled tradesman. Very Well Done Guys!
