Very hands-on, very reliable, transparent and professional in communication – and delivering prompt results (after having the client chased myself for months without any result, Frontline made them pay after a few days)

We have now used Frontline collections on several occasions and found their staff to be friendly and knowledgeable, They have advised us on the best and most appropriate course of action for the debt we required chasing. Not only was their service very professional it is also successful and we have found that the outstanding debts have been paid once we engaged frontline's services, this also included international debts, which at first thought we weren't sure how we could recover these. We would highly recommend Frontline Collections.

Interesting experience! All sounded great at the start as they would help chase a £10k debt. Got suckered into the rush to pay £1200 for them to make a start in case the debtor folded the company. Loads of contact pre-signing. I provided the contact details of the debtor. Weekly report then received saying trying to contact. A few weeks later, received an email saying they have tried their best with no luck and are closing the file (with a suggestion to speak to a solicitor!). Not willing to share the attempted contact log! Now down the debt plus another £1200! I would not bother again. Could have called and sent a letter myself!!

They don’t disclose all the costs upfront.

At first, they emphasise their success in collecting debts simply by visiting the debtor’s address, suggesting that the embarrassment alone will prompt payment. For this, they require a substantial upfront fee. When I asked about a success-based payment model, they claimed this wasn’t possible because it “costs them to visit the debtor's address,” and therefore, they already have sufficient incentive to collect the debt.

When that approach failed, they then asked me to pay additional fees to take the case to court. After a lengthy process, and even once the court ruled in my favour, I was presented with a long list of further charges for each additional action I wanted them to take.

Had they been transparent from the beginning about the full range of potential costs relative to the amount owed, I could have made a far more informed decision. Instead, I ended up covering their fees while the debtor paid nothing.

If you decide to use their services, make sure you ask for a full breakdown of all possible costs upfront.

A company had charged me several thousand euro for security service that they did not provide. After months of emails, phone calls, and promises for refunds that got me nowhere, I went to Frontline for help and the mess was sorted in two parts: Frontline got most of the money back for me in a matter of days, but there were a few hundred extra that remained outstanding.
