I have numerous Frahm jackets and always get positive comments when I'm wearing them.
Being a shy person I chose to go for the Dazzle camo limited edition woodland workers jacket in the hope I'd not get noticed. Unfortunately it had the opposite effect. More comments and "where did you get your jacket" than normal.
The jacket as ever fits great and looks fantastic.
Thanks Nick and the team for producing these jackets. Simply love them.

Yes, I should have read all the small print details....but from reading all the other gushing details bigging themselves up I thought I didn't have to worry ....only to find the insulated padding is polyester.... unbelievable that a company like this, promoting themselves as they are can't use one of the many natural insulation materials....
Very disappointed

I queried this before ordering & was given an incorrect assurance: ""Nick has made sure that the buttoned phone pocket is big enough for the larger phones". It is not. Potential buyers take note. Date of experience below is the date of my query to Frahm & its reply, reality only became clear after delivery in May 2025.

These may be just the best jackets I've ever owned. Great fit, bomb proof (maybe not literally) and loads of little details. I own two and have just pre-ordered another. Customer service is top notch too.

Rarely leave reviews and generally like most of the population I only use Trustpilot if the customer service is either really bad or if it’s exceptional! In this case it’s been exceptional. My first product purchases from Frahm were 2 overshirts which I love ( please bring them back!) leading me to placing a preorder for a jacket in Feb of the same Size. It was too small and looking online I could see they had only 1 left in the size I needed. I contact their customer support and within an hour or so had a return label, sent the goods back via the post office and noticed later that day the size I had needed had been dispatched (despite Frahm clearly not having yet received the return goods) . All in all I had the size I needed in less than 24 hours of asking for an exchange. Truly exceptional service and a fantastic product. Highly recommend.

Looking at the companies year end accounts there’s no way I’d pay for a coat that’s not going to be delivered for months (if ever)
The company is in the red to the tune of half a million and the directors last company went in to liquidation not long ago leaving hundreds of shareholders with nothing.
Anyone thinking of ordering from Frahm should go on the companies house website and check the accounts filings for Frahm Technical LTD and Nicks previous disaster company, the ill fated Vulpine Performance LTD.

Waterproof utility field jacket 29/08/2023, REVIEW 19/03/2025 THE HOOD Waterproof and breathable lining has FAILED at 1yr 6m 19 days it's not wear n tear as frahm suggested after 21 days it took em to give lame solution of use duck tape , they are well made quality jackets I have 6 but this fob off has gutted me ,take yer money then yer on yer own 1* as there's no option first 0*, UPDATE 02/04/2025. AFTER Frahm (Nick) reviewing my comments and sorting the misunderstanding out , frahm are sending a replacement jacket and thank you for quick response in sorting out a big thank you to Nick and team for the urgency shown. ***** updated score from 1* to 4* after frahm solved problem to a satisfactory conclusion. Thanks the jackets a cracker, superb.

only used mine a few times and the buttons fell off, not good customer service from Nick and banned from being able to give honest reviews. not worth the money and bad customer service

I write this review rather begrudgingly as I really did want to like Frahm and the products. However my experience has been poor. The marketing does a great job at reeling you in with the promise of uncompromising quality, which given the many 5* reviews must be true but I can't say the same. So after much deliberation I decided to place a preorder for the Jungle Jacket, and in my impatience I subsequently ordered an Original Field Utility Jacket. So the OFUJ arrived and the first impression is one of high quality, however once I put it on I found the sleeve lining was stitched down twisted which made it almost impossible to put on properly, I then found that one of the interior pockets had either been stitched wrong or ripped, either way I'm surprised it hadn't been spotted given the brands' preached commitment to quality. After receiving this I submitted a returns form and have since cancelled my other preorder as I'm not confident in the brand. Further the design of the utility jacket feels a bit off to me, all the pockets are a bit small for a practical application, even the hand pockets feel a bit shallow.

Two positive points however are that the returns process is quick and painless and that customer service is very quick and of a high standard.

Overall, I can't help but say the entire thing feels a bit disingenuous to me, with the preorder initially making sense, however it in my view it seems more like a way to improve the cash flow of the company. In addition I struggle to see how the RRP is justified, and to some extent even the discounted price, whilst the jacket is nice I don't believe it's worth £475 as I can't see how it can cost more than about £100 to produce, but that's only speculation.

I appreciate I'm in the minority here with many 5* reviews, however this has been my experience.

I bought a Harrington jacket from FRAHM. Not cheap but like many people I bought into what Nick said the brand stood for.
Jacket was ok, very stiff so would wear in. Not so good was none of the pockets were large enough to put a phone in or even your hands.
Don’t understand why you would make the pockets so small so they are just decoration.
PS I wrote a review for the FRAHM website and they never published so I wonder how many other poor reviews have been hidden.

Wonderful customer service until you actually buy a coat, then it descends into a farce.

Well hidden T&Cs were thrown at me; when they were breached the attitude was dismissive - it’s 18 days now without my promised refund. There is no accountability or any meaningful attempt to help which you can only hope means they simply don’t have a clue.

UPDATE: Nick if you’re reading this then you’ll see from the comms you looked through, that I asked to be put in contact with you, so feel free to reach out directly. I really tried to avoid posting here but was deeply frustrated today

I’m impatient, so when the opportunity arose to buy a jacket in my size (L) I wasn’t too fussy about what it was, I wanted to find out what they were like, so ahead I went (£295) with an open mind.
1. I emailed on a Sunday regarding size and got a response in 10min from a very helpful lady.
2. It arrived when it said it would
3. It’s top quality. Might not be my preferred style but certainly worth the money and some….
4. It’ll inspire me to be a member of the “good thing come to those that wait” brigade.

stitching has gone on my jacket after minimal use. not good and very disappointing. customer service not helpful and basically sorry is all I get. buttons coming away and now I'm blocked on Facebook so I can't comment. terrible way to treat your customers,

Ordered on the Boxing Day clear out “sale”. Still more money that I’ve ever spent on a coat or almost anything, but what a piece of clothing! It’s stunning. I almost got emotional trying it on for the first time.
I messing up my delivery instructions but the support on Boxing Day was almost instant and perfect.
I can’t recommend FRAHM and the team enough. I’ll be saving up for my next one soon.

I bought the Frahm Thermal Military Parka (Black/Camo version) in 2022. It's undeniably well-made and I still wear it now. But considering the price, it’s a little disappointing. While it’s very heavy, it’s not very warm considering it’s billed a ‘Thermal’ parka. It’s pretty good in a shower, but soon gets wet (and even heavier) in a downpour. I’ve found the angle and position of the hand pockets are a little off for me. And I wish it had a chest pocket that could be accessed from the outside. But it does look great and often draws comments from people when they see it and with a few little tweaks it could be perfect.

I have been a fan of FRAHM from the start but my thermal military jacket has been a huge disappointment.

It’s not supposed to be waterproof but it isn’t particularly showerproof either and gets heavy quickly as the lining gets wet. Then it takes an age to dry. This is already a heavy coat but isn’t as warm as much lighter down jackets

The two metal clasps on the front are a little fiddly but aren’t well attached to the fabric. They don’t look easy to reattach

But the most annoying thing is the lining of the main outside pockets the stitching for which has failed on both sides. That means that you can put your phone or keys into the main pocket with a secure flap and find them falling out of the hand warmer pockets.

Got a utility jacket and couldnt be happier! Amazing quality and perfect service. Just ordered a Harrington for next year. I see a long partnership here…

My initial response on receiving the Harrington Racer jacket was that it was definitely not worth the £400+ I had paid for the lined version.

A similar quality jacket can be purchased from £99. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve got jackets costing from between £400 and £2500 so am quite prepared to pay good money for a good jacket. And, ‘horses for courses’ as they say. But, if you think you are getting Harrington that is shower-proof, think again! This jacket is definitely not shower-proof despite Frahm’s description saying it is!

According to Frahm the jacket ‘resists a brisk shower or persistent light rain and can be worn from March to October’ it does none of these! The jacket is nowhere near showerproof. Bear this in mind when you part with the thick end of £350 and have to wait until April next year to receive it! (They say the best things in life are worth waiting for! Not in this case!).
If you really want to pay £350-£400 for this jacket, then go ahead. But shop around first. You’ll find a very similar (and if not, better) jacket for well under £200.
I contacted the company and told them of my concerns and they told me that the jacket was ‘not designed to be worn in October!’ Excuse me? But we are still in September! And, according to the Frahm website description of the jacket (and I repeat), ‘wear from March to October, resists a brisk shower or persistent light rain…..’

If you really want a Harrington jacket buy the original barracuta G9 for £350. Just look them up on-line. Or try John Lewis. A similar quality Harrington can be purchased for £99.

Polite, informal & reassuring customer service combined with stunning quality. Simply put, the Military Thermal Parka is of the utmost quality. It feels like it's tailor made. The attention to detail is unrivalled in any item of clothing I've ever purchased. It's designed for men (in numerous sizes and colours) and stands apart from the usual 'style over substance' designer clothing in and around the same price range. I cannot recommend Frahm Jackets highly enough! Absolutely no disappointment and well worth the wait. DO IT! BUY IT NOW!

It pains me to go 4* because I really do want to like Frahm, however, I’ve decided the jackets just don’t fit me well. I’m a pretty average build though, I’m tall but not overly tall, pretty slim but not thin. All my jackets are just too big around the tum so with my latest, the Harrington Racer I deliberately went medium. The jacket is lovely and I want it to fit but the medium is just too short in the torso and the sleeves probably just right. Ideally I need a large tall but I just know the large is going to be too big around the tum and sleeves will be too long. I’ve had 4 Frahm jackets and I currently own none. The first a ventile storm I sent back, the second a field jacket I just didn’t like the fit after a few months and sold it, the third a ripstop puffer I again sold after a few months for similar reasons and the latest a harrington racer that just doesn’t fit and is on the way back for a refund.
Nick if you’re reading, I know you design for real people which I guess means a more relaxed fit but it doesn’t work if you’re tall & slim. Like I said I’ve had 4 jackets and currently own none should tell you everything you need to know. I’m your target market, I have disposable income and I like jackets. I think however I don’t think I’ll be buying another Frahm.
