Superb, well designed jackets - with great sizing and easy returns (if you do like me buy a couple to check best fit). I have several - and another on order. They just look better than other brands - with an eye to quality and detail. Yes you often have to order long in advance but fast fashion wastes resources so I don’t think it’s a bad thing.

I have bought, I think, 6 jackets from Frahm and keep looking at their range because these are the best jackets you’ll ever find. I have to convince myself I don’t need any more — but I want them.

Excellent products, excellent service.

As an owner of far too many Frahm jackets with another on the way, I feel am qualified to give an opinion here on both the quality of the jackets and the overall service. Once I got over the sizing (usually xl-xxl, but best Frahm size is 4xl)! I have loved everyone one that I ordered. I expect them all to last a very long time. Have they all been perfect? No. But if they weren’t for me or in one case needed a repair, then the customer service was quick and courteous with any issues resolved immediately. Are they expensive? Yes. But, at least so far, I feel that you get what you are paying for in terms of quality materials, manufacturing and design. The model of preorder doesn’t work for everyone and I do find it frustrating to wait so long, but it’s clear on the website how it works and once you have the first one I’d be surprised if you don’t go back for more

I have over a dozen items of clothing from Frahm. They are all awesome and the comms from the team great. My personal favourite is my ‘Foreign Correspondents Jacket’ (now called then Odyssey). It’s travelled the world with me in all seasons. Some people note the prices seem high. Honestly you’d pay more for a big brand and don’t get the same quality, design thoughts and attention to detail. So I’d say they are great value for money.

What can I say? Exceptional jackets; credible prices; personal and friendly customer service. From the thoughtfully-sourced fabric to the all-part-of-the-service alterations, a British brand whose every interaction speaks of attention to detail. Go FRAHM, and you won't look elsewhere for outerwear in future.

I have known about Frahm for some years and was initially put off by the price, but having seen them worn by friends I was impressed by the quality and style, so I bought a waxed woodland worker's jacket. That was almost 5 years ago, and I am now awaiting delivery of my fourth Frahm jacket (the pea coat), and have a number of shackets too (I hate portmanteaus but it is a good description in this case). I'm sure I will end up with more jackets too since I have a weakness for such thing (much to my wife's dismay). They've always been very helpful with regards to sizing and have always answered my queries promptly. They are also relatively unusual in this day and age in that they will own up to mistakes on their part quickly and without fuss (not that they tend to make many, but still), and they are also fully cognisant that a pre-ordering policy means that sometimes it just won't work out for a customer and so they have a great returns policy. Yes, it's a different way of buying clothing, and yes, they are expensive, but they are extremely high quality and well made long-lasting items, if cared for correctly, and the antithesis of the ropey fast fashion crap from the high street (and even some formerly respectable brand names in the coat and jacket market). Buying one is, or should be, a very conscious choice about quality, longevity and supply chain (including British manufacturers), as well as the style and fit. But I would suggest you are unlikely to regret buying - or being bought - one.

Frahm know their target audience: their clothes are tailored for chaps with a some grey hairs and a bit of experience, who like to look their best in the rugged outdoors or on city streets.

Designs are well-thought out variants on classics, with great practical features and superb tailoring and materials. I now have four of their jackets. You can buy cheaper, but you can't buy the same quality, style and uniqueness.

Customer service is first class too - one minor problem (a broken press-stud) was quickly resolved and at no cost to me.

I have now bought 5 jackets from Frahm, and I love every one of them. They are exquisitely made with fantastic detail, and beautiful to look at.

I returned 1 item because despite being perfectly made, the high collar irritated my neck. My money was refunded without question.

I also sent one back to have the sleeves shortened, and though it took about 3 weeks, the alteration was impossible to see, and the arms fitted exactly.

Frahm jackets are far from cheap, and though the "order and pay 6 months in advance" model is unusual, I cannot praise Frahm highly enough for the quality of it's products, and its customer service.

Brilliant jackets - one is not enough - pre order for the up front discount - feels a bit odd at first but I look forward to the deliveries - 2 on order for the new year!

I bought my first Frahm (a Thermal Military Parka) about 4 years ago. It's a fantastic coat for cold and miserable weather, and it really is built like a tank. It is still as smart and cosy as ever - in fact I almost look forward to winter so I can get it out! Since then I have bought the quilted puffer, for a lighter weight winter jacket, and that is just the same - outstanding. For spring and autumn the Harrington Racer is my go-to option, for its comfort and style. I'm currently awaiting my Field Jacket. I know they are not cheap, but I think they're exceptional value.

I held back for a while because of the wait. So I finally bit the bullet and upon receiving the first jacket I was blown away by the fit and quality . 9 months later I have a collection of 6 Frahm Jackets.

I have purchased 3 FRAHM jackets over a4 year period and can state that they are the mutts nuts as far as quality and style goes
The military parka is a godsend in the winter, I can just have a polo shirt on underneath and will always be warm even in the coldest weather
The quilted Harrington jacket is perfect in milder conditions
And the woodland worker jacket is a great everyday sling it on no matter what you are doing jacket
I am expecting my 4th jacket to be delivered anytime soon
I always get compliments on my jackets and know that they will last me forever
Are they expensive? yes, are they worth their cost? Without a doubt

I now have quite a number of Frahm jackets. They cover every season and are just spot on for every season. The design is thought through to the n’th degree and the quality is evident in appearance and wear. The pre-order is different but the price-order mix seems right and the wait is well worth it. Frahm offers customer service of a smaller, family feel - they deal with things promptly, efficiently and helpfully. I have more Frahms on pre-order and am looking forward to them coming over the next few months. Give it a go - I recommend.

I have several Frahm jackets and they are all well made and hard wearing. They serve specific purposes for different weather conditions. They are not cheap but will last many years without looking tatty or unfashionable. I look on them as investments for my retirement

I love the business concept and this works for me as the jackets are fantastic. In my opinion they are unique in their design and quality. Not everyone can appreciate what they are, their value and or why you can't buy them off a rack in a shop alongside all the other tat. I like that. I have close to 10 Frahms and am looking forward to spring when my next will be delivered.

Frahm is a niche men’s jacket maker specialising in superb quality jackets. I have several now and every single one is superb. It’s a small company based in Bath that sources material from Scotland and the EU mainly. Their attention to detail is amazing. You have to preorder, they aren’t cheap and can wait months, but that’s all part of the joy. I love Frahm and would urge anyone who can to support a thriving British design icon.

I’ve had my Woodland Workers Jacket in American Tan for just under two weeks. I’ve only worn it once due to the unusually warm weather in Glasgow but even in that short time I can say that I absolutely love it.

The quality is first class. As soon as I put it on, it felt like an exceptional product that I’ll enjoy wearing for years, provided I don’t put on any weight. The fit is tailored and not particularly forgiving if you’re carrying a bit around the waist.

I own jackets from Belstaff and Barbour, but Frahm surpasses both in terms of finish. The material, zips and buttons all feel of a higher standard in my opinion. I took my time deciding, mainly because of the price point and the fact that I couldn’t see, feel or try the jacket before purchasing. I also sent a few questions over by email, which were answered promptly and with the same enthusiasm I’d seen on Frahm’s social channels.

I really appreciate the honesty from Nick in his social media promotions, and the ethos of the company comes across very well.

The only constructive criticism I have is the packaging. For a premium product, it would feel more fitting if the jacket arrived boxed rather than bagged.

Overall, I’m delighted with my purchase. My next one will likely be a Harrington.
