FPS was established in 2006 as a multi-disciplined Fire Protection Provider, however in 2016 we re-organised our business to specialise and focus on a smaller number of key Products & Services. ‘FPS’ was born out of my disillusionment with some of the larger ‘players’ in the industry. These large companies appeared to be more concerned with themselves rather than their customers & staff. I felt we could do a much better job. Simon Gwinnett’s ambition for FPS is to be known as a highly reputable company, centered around delivering high-quality products and workmanship, whilst maintaining open and honest business practices that clients can trust. We will achieve this by focusing on our clients’ priorities, consistently exceeding their expectations and building long-term, trustworthy relationships. FPS were one of the 1st companies in Wales to achieve FIRAS third party accreditation for the design, installation and commissioning of sprinkler systems. We have taken a lead in advising clients and building control authorities to ensure that systems are compliant, robust & cost-effective. Our central philosophy of ‘quality first & foremost is at the heart of what we do. Sprinkler Service
Engineer arrived on site at 8 am as promised. Explained testing procedures and notified me when the fire alarm was tested (so that I could get the dogs out of the house).
Payment is within 30 days of invoice by bank transfer.

Annual sprinkler system service
FPS provides an annual service for our inbuilt sprinkler system. We are contacted prior to dates being set, all costs are fully explained. Engineers are always on time polite and comunacative. A professional reliable service every year.

Great service
I’ve always found the service to be excellent. The emails are friendly and feel personal, not like generic automated reminders, which makes a big difference. I really appreciate the heads-up for the annual service, it’s a thoughtful touch. The engineers are always friendly, professional, and do an outstanding job every time.

FPS didn’t got my sprinkler system but came out to service it for me. They were helpful, prompt and professional. Andrew, who came out on the day was great. He treated our home with respect and explained everything to us.

Polite and thorough
The lady handling booking was polite and helpful. The gentleman who came to service our sprinkler system was knowledgeable, helpful, and polite. We hadn't been given as much documentation as we should have been by whoever had installed the system (different company) but the technician servicing the system was very resourceful in trying to track down the information he needed and was able to get what he needed to do the service. He was thorough in both the service and in explaining what he was going to do, he also gave us some extra info about how the system worked in general.

Impressive, honest company
We were advised by our Local Authority that we legally needed to install fire sprinklers in our newly converted residential annex.
Having spoken to and received quotes from a couple of companies in Wales, FPS was the first company that advised us (their Director, Alan) that we first needed a water flow test to calculate the water pressure to the annex.
Andrew from FPS came to undertake this flow test and given the low reading advised us that we also needed a pump and tank. Andrew was such a nice, easy-going guy to talk and so informative and helpful in answering our questions.
Based upon the FPS quote and the fact that Andrew had conveyed confidence in us that this company and team knew what they were doing, we accepted their quote.
The installation was promptly undertaken by Josh who was very polite, respectful of our property and informative.
The team back in HQ were also tremendous with their communication with us. Once the work was completed we promptly received a FIRAS Certificate of Conformity to share with our Local Authority.
From start to finish took c.3 months and we are so glad we chose FPS over and above the other companies we researched. They are such a reliable, impressive, honest company who employ a fantastic team of staff. Thank you FPS.

The engineer who came to my house was on time, very informative and friendly.
He explained how the sprinklers worked and reset the weekly pressure flow test which wasn’t turned on originally.
