FPS was established in 2006 as a multi-disciplined Fire Protection Provider, however in 2016 we re-organised our business to specialise and focus on a smaller number of key Products & Services. ‘FPS’ was born out of my disillusionment with some of the larger ‘players’ in the industry. These large companies appeared to be more concerned with themselves rather than their customers & staff. I felt we could do a much better job. Simon Gwinnett’s ambition for FPS is to be known as a highly reputable company, centered around delivering high-quality products and workmanship, whilst maintaining open and honest business practices that clients can trust. We will achieve this by focusing on our clients’ priorities, consistently exceeding their expectations and building long-term, trustworthy relationships. FPS were one of the 1st companies in Wales to achieve FIRAS third party accreditation for the design, installation and commissioning of sprinkler systems. We have taken a lead in advising clients and building control authorities to ensure that systems are compliant, robust & cost-effective. Our central philosophy of ‘quality first & foremost is at the heart of what we do. Poor driving standards by CV26KPR on the M4 near J34 westbound. Driving at 80+ mph and cutting cars off. If they’re this careless driving company branded vans, I’m not sure if I would trust this company.

We take any concerns regarding driving standards very seriously, particularly where our vehicles are clearly branded. We have reviewed the details of the incident, including vehicle tracking data, and will address any findings internally in line with our procedures.
However, we must address the broader conclusion made. This review is based on a single perceived driving incident, yet draws a sweeping judgement about the overall trustworthiness of our company. We believe that is a disproportionate conclusion. Our business has built its reputation over many years, reflected in consistently strong Trustpilot ratings, repeat clients, and the professional delivery of our services across numerous projects.
While we will always investigate and act on specific concerns, it is important that any assessment of our company is based on our full track record rather than an isolated moment.

Professional work
The engineer arrived in a timely manner and carried out the service as required, whilst explaining what he was doing and why. It was our first sprinkler service so it was important that we understood what he was doing. Great work

Hi Mark thanks for the feedback which is appreciated. Our understanding is that market rates for servicing with a provider that provides regular annual maintenance and 24/7 emergency cover ranges from between £75 & £150.00 + VAT. I will continue to monitor rates and we have not increased our pricing for over 12 months even though cost's continue to increase.
First sprinkler service
This is our first house with a sprinkler system, also our first service!
We previously booked the free customer care visit and learned about the sytem, and then the gold service package. We felt this would give us full peace of mind to maintain the system and our ongoing safety.
Luke did a thorough check and answered our questions. He was knowledgeable and we feel we are in good hands with this company.
