- MC Glass opened its first premises in Little Common, East Sussex in September 1996. We have grown in size and now have 15 members of staff. We have always prided ourselves on customer care and a second to none after sales service. Everything we fit including conservatories, windows and doors has a guarantee, many items up to ten years, and we can offer an insurance backed guarantee. We have a separate department for small works and repairs to windows whether we have installed them or not, includes hinges, handles, etc. All our staff are directly employed, giving us complete control from the estimate through to the finished job. Most of our work is in the Sussex area – Bexhill, Hastings, Eastbourne and Rye, although we do travel to the Kent and Surrey areas for customers who have been recommended to us by previous clients.

Good quality material and excellent fitters
The attention to detail of Andy & his colleagues was excellent, and they work extremely hard. Only two very small snags which they came back to fix immediately. The windows are great quality and we are very happy. I would recommend them and would use them again myself.

M C Glass work as a team, great price and quick from phoning to get a quote the surveyor measuring up and 6 windows fitted in 4 weeks absolutely brilliant ,the fitters worked nonstop fitted in a day and a half, had a problem getting a big window up around my stairwell to my flat , but a phone call to the boss 10 minutes later he is there and 4 of them got it in through the outside dedication , would thoroughly recommend them 1st class

4 years on and we are still struggling…
4 years on and we are still struggling to get the 4 sash windows installed in 2022 reinstalled PROPERLY.
The company keeps giving flimsy excuses on why they can’t fulfil their obligations and patience is wearing thin. I’ll be looking at getting Fensa involved if this continues more than a few more days. Such a huge hassle when already dealing with health issues.
Recommend looking elsewhere to get any sash windows as this company is unable to fit them properly.

Replacement back door for broken locks and gears on old door. Quick response, sensible price, good delivery time and all done on the due date in a couple of hours or so. All workers clean tidy pleasant and polite. Third time we have used MCG over the years. A* Recommend.

Professional, with an eye for detail
From the initial phonecall to the installation, MC Glass were professional and communicative every step of the way.
Paul came round to measure up, give me options on designs, and discussed hanging preferences and furniture, followed by Steve who finalised the job before Aaron and Kevin came round to install.
The job was performed to an incredibly high standard & level of detail and I couldn't be happier with the result, with someone keeping me informed of progress at every step in the process from the first measurement taken to the last bit of sealant applied.
Would definitely recommend MC Glass to anyone who is thinking of having work done.

An excellent company all round
The advice on which door to buy was very helpful, and the staff were also really patient and friendly. It took me a while to make the right choice of composite door for us, as there were so many styles to choose from. The staff never made me feel annoying, even though I changed my mind so many times. The door we have is of exceptional quality and has made a huge difference to heat loss as well as looking great. The fitters did a first rate job and we have had no leakage issues or drafts at all. The soundproofing effect of having a composite door as opposed to a solid wood door has been dramatic, even though we have a much larger window now as opposed to the tiny window we had previously. We wanted to support a local independent firm when we decided who to shop with, and we made absolutely the right decision. Thank you so much MC glass for everything. I highly recommend this company.

Really good. They did a good job with my parents porch, so we decided to use them to change our windows. The service was excellent, they couldn't do enough for you. Also the guys fitting the windows were very diligent. Overall, extremely happy and would highly recommend.
